And on the 7th day, my fingernail polish chipped. Not bad! Not bad at all, Mimi Nails! Â (FYI...this was not even a no chip manicure!)Last Saturday, I met my cousin here for what was originally going to be pedicures. She arrived a few minutes before me and had a little waxing done...ooh, la la. She was very pleased with the outcome. We had the time, so we decided to do mani's and pedi's. Overall, both were great! Â We had plenty of polish to choose from and it was organized by color in one area. Â This earned major points from me. My sister likes to go to a shop where the polish is split up and all over the place. I'm never happy with the color that I choose there because I always really wanted something a little lighter, little darker, more pink, more purple...you get my drift. The pedicures were relaxing in this very clean and darling shop. The technicians were nice and I never once felt like they were talking about us. I don't often get a manicure. So, I opted for a light shade of pink thinking it would start to chip in a day or two and I didn't want to have to remove the polish immediately. I was thrilled that it wasn't until this morning...seven days later that I have my first chip! Â I felt that the technician took her time and did a really nice job. While sitting at the dryers, I continued to relax while she gave me a little shoulder massage. I'm funny about those things. Usually, I'm not a big fan of people touching me. But, I had worked with the same person for the whole time, she was very sweet and I felt very comfortable. Bottom line, make an appointment and stop into this tucked away shop in Old Town Bloomingdale. My toes still look fabulous and my fingers may need a polish change soon, but that's okay with me if I get the same excellent service on my next visit. Read Less
