If I could give them no stars I would. I am not easily dissatisfied, nor am I ever rude but the service here was horrible. By far the worst Manicure I have ever received(and that’s an understatement). The lady doing my nails couldn’t even file them down correctly. She cut them way too much on the sides which makes my nails look deformed. She left some nail polish from my previous manicure. The rag she used on my hands smelled like a wet dog! The list goes on and on. I was very optimistic coming here, and unfortunately left very disappointed. I do not recommend this place at all, not even as a last resort. Requested a pedicure and manicure or with bubble bath OPI nail polish: While I was not the only customer, I was attended to rather quickly! Pedicure chairs were comfortable and there is a TV that plays access Hollywood channels. The woman working with me was sweet but did not say very much to me. This may have been due to a language difference. I asked her if there was anything that I could use in order to extend the life time of my manicure but she was not able to answer my questions.I am very happy with the manicure she gave me. I also noticed that they are very diligent when it comes to the massage portion of the pedicure. However they rushed me out the door and my nail chipped!! Hands down the best nail salon in the suburbs, I have been going to Happy Nails for about 10 years and I have never been disappointed. They are just really good at their job. Not to mention the owner Sally is super sweet, attentive, and welcoming. Susan is awesome with nail designs, this girl can literally do anything on your nails she is incredible. I am the assistant manager at Happy NailsJane B review is false and uncalled for. UNBELIEVABLE!She mentioned that she "believes" the owner stole $10 out of her purse. Her purse was next to her the whole time she was getting service done. After her nails were done she paid via credit card and mention she wanted to tip in cash but couldn't find her $10 that was in her back pocket so she dig in her purse , went to her car, and made a few phone calls looking for her $10... sounds to me she misplaced it and just wasn't sure where it was .. so for her to accuse the owner is just insane! We have cameras all over our salon that can prove that the owner did not take her $10. We have been in business for 15 years, we had never had such accusation we had clients who left their wedding ring and wallets behind and we have always returned it back to our clients without any issues. I will never return to this place again!!! I would give it negatives!!! Went in last week, Saturday, for a dipping powder service, ($35) which is suppose to last 2-3 weeks. Friday night, 1 week after, I noticed that 4 of my nails were chipped. Went in on Saturday to get them fix. There were 2 of them working on my nails. Instead of removing the work that was done the previous week, they just filed down all the nails and did it on top of what was cracking. Not only that but they ended up doing a different color then what I originally had. With the dipping powder it's hard to tell until the finish product is done. (Btw, would have been easier if they had sample nails done to have picked out the right color I had on). Come Monday, the same nails chipped and cracked again. Call and told her that they had chipped again after just being there Saturday, she laughed and said "they would file them down and do it again". I told her that wasn't fixing the problem. She said, "what do you want me to do?"  It was obvious she was going to fix it the right way. Btw- my go to place was not available and went to the next place i thought i liked until this happened. It was not my first time getting this type if service. When I've gone to my go to place the dipping powder last more than 3 weeks.  Hope this saves anyone the trouble of wasting their money there. The first time I went here it was great. The second time I had an appointment for my mother and I for 3:30pm.... we got there a few minutes late and they already were working on other people. We didn't get our nails started until 4. Not to mention the techs all had an attitude, they were not very welcoming. Theres nothing "happy" about this place. It should be called over priced crap nails.My mom got a no chip and when she asked the tech to fix a couple sharp nails she gave her attitude. We'll never be returning to this dump. If you're looking for great customer service and quality, go to Jolene Nails in Elk Grove Village or Luxury Nails in Oak Brook Terrace.This just in! Went here to get acrylic nails and they came out horrible! Not only did it take almost two hours but they came out super thick but I asked for short rounded nails which came out as long pointy nails.. I do not recommend this place and I will never be going back. Read Less
