For your health, beware... I asked my nail tech if they had a sterilizer here for there instrumentation and she had no clue what I was talking about. I asked how she washes the tools that she uses on people’s feet. They don’t. After each person gets a foot soak in a tub with a sanitary plastic bag wrapped inside, (just to deceive you) each person gets the same sharp tools used on them that the last person who sat in that chair had used on them WITH NO WASHING of the tub or the tools in between. The only thing that came close to cleaning was when they put the pumice stones in the tub to get wet where our feet had been. The lady offered to shave my heels (which I’m sure is ILLEGAL in Illinois) especially at a place that can’t even hand wash instrumentation before using them on the next customer. I gave the woman my own cuticle trimmer to use (because I didn’t want to make a scene) and it ended up in her drawer of unwashed instruments. Read Less

Yes there are kids here so you might hear quarreling- it's not exactly a spa, so that's ok with me. They have TVs with captions and sounds and that's awesome, I don't mind a tv show like "jeopardy" or "E!" here and there. The job they do on your nails is good. They don't deserve a star at all. .They are really nasty to African people I've tried more than once to give them the benefit of the doubt for a bad day. I'm never greeted even when I greet. I've been ordered to sit down like a dog. I've walked in with other ladies not of the same color. They were greeted offered water while I was never offered anything nor asked what can I do for you. I received none of the above. Last but not least I walked into the shop the man looked at me and I asked him is there anyone to do a full set and change toe nail polish he said pick your polish I went to the wall to pick my polish he was the only one available to do nails another young lady walking in of different race asked for service as well was greeted and given my place of service I was made to wait after the young lady that came in after me. this is not a perfect world I know that but I thought we were not to judge people due to color but judge the persons character. but this shop does not respect other ethnicities. The place is so unprofessional! I went specifically to get rid of calluses on my feet and the calluses are still there he barely spent any time on my feet at all! I then went to get a manicure I had three people work on me switching off she did a terrible job didn't make let me wash my hands before she put the Polish on there for have bumps underneath my nail polish. There was children crying screaming fighting hitting each other the entire time I was there. She was on FaceTime with somebody non-stop talking the entire time she was doing my nails I had such a headache and I was so stressed it was ridiculous!!! Then at the end I pay for something that I have to redo everything about it I have to go someplace else and pay again and she gives me a card and says so if you come here 10 times to get $5 off well guess what I'm never going to go back there it's not worth $5 off it's not worth it if I get it for free!!! I was extremely disappointed! First I went to get a pedicure because I have calluses on my feet spent the money the calluses are still there. Therefore I'm going to have to get another pedicure someplace else. It was so stressful there I love children, but children crying fighting screaming dancing around is not a Spa experience. After I got my pedicure, I had three different people working on my first the person that did my feet, then another man the father of the children, then he had to take the kids home so the mother of the children did my nails. I was not satisfied at all! I have never had a manicure where I do not wash my hands before the Polish goes on. She told me not to wash my hands and therefore I now have mailed us making my nail polish bumpy. So now I have to also get a new manicure. I spent $60 and have to redo everything at another place. Wow I was getting my nails done she was FaceTiming with her friend or something it was non-stop noise I couldn't relax I had a headache. It was a very unprofessional, unpleasant experience! If I was able to communicate with the staff better I would give them 5 stars, but their work is great. I found out about them through my Mother In Law who I now go back with for pamper girls days out! I love that they are always able to accommodate my weird sense of style. You can see in the photos they were even able to give me the Frankenstein themed french manicure that I requested the last time I was there. Their no chip manicures always last me for weeks and I am an avid artist who is always getting her hands dirty in paint, glue, liquid latex, glitter.. you name it. This also means I wash my hands a lot. I have gotten pedicures there too and have been pleased with them as well. On top of it they are very reasonably priced. The nail shop is really cute and small in beecher . I came here on a Saturday around 4 go get my eyebrows done . There was not a wait and barely any customers in the shop . They did an okay job at my eyebrows I would only go back in a pinch and because you're in and out . I have the shop 3/5 because a few of the employees seemed very young and unprofessional . They was a lot of loud talking and gossiping . It also seems a little messy in there . Read Less
