I have been going to Zano Salon & Spa for 6 years and there's a reason why. They are a full service salon with reasonable prices, excellent employees who are always upbeat and fun to be around. I get my hair colored every three weeks with Brooke. She is amazing !!! If you need a color correction or you have problems holding a color or just want a new look she's your girl. I also get facials and eye brow waxing with Diana. She is very knowledgeable in skin care and her appointments never disappoint. It's so convenient to get your nails done before your hair color so that by the time your on your way home they are completely dry. Zanos is a full service salon that I highly recommend. Zano Salon delivers a high quality salon experience without the inflated prices found at other local salons.  The front desk staff is quick to great customers.  iI have only encountered top notch service from all of their staff.Colleen has now colored my hair for about four months.  I always hesitate to review stylists and colorists until I've visited them a few times, and I feel that each time, she has provided 5 star results.  She offers suggestions, and follows requests accurately.  I am extremely particular with color; I want subtle results, and she is an expert at giving highlights that look 100% natural.  She has kept my dreaded gray hairs in hiding, too!Tameka is my stylist, and just as Colleen does, Tameka listens and recommends, then delivers exactly what you ask for.  She has a super fun personality, too.No one here rushes clients in and out of the door.  The staff takes their time to perfect every cut and very color.I have yet to try their other services, but plan to soon!  Note, they have wonderful referral deals, first time and return customer specials! I've been going to Zanos for a Men's haircut for about 6 months and I can say it really is worth it over the generic Great Clips or Sports Cuts. While yes a little more costly I work in a field where presentation does matter to my patients.  In regards to the old post by Jeff I'm not sure how priceing worked when he went there but I see Michelle and my haircut costs me $30 bucks plus tip. Every time I'm asked if I would like something to drink and I show up right on time and I've never had to wait. The service is very personable as I was also looking for the right haircut for my Wedding day and while that has passed I will definitely be going here from now on. Read Less

I wanted pale blonde hair and my hair is yellow with orange looking parts. It looks awful. I'm not sure whether to go back to have it fixed or go somewhere else. I don't want her to touch my hair. I visit Zano's for facials with Melinda. She is very patient, kind and knowledgable. Her beauty tips, product recommendations and overall service delivery is fantastic. The 4-star rating has to do with the pricing at Zano's. I lived downtown for years and feel that Zano's is actually more pricey than some of the quality salons I used in Lincoln Square. Overall, the facility is always clean, the staff is always kind and I always have a great experience at Zano's, just wish the pricing was a little more reasonable. Read Less

Amazing massage by Kayla!! I get massages all over the country- and this was on of the best!! Definitely go for 75 mins, because you won't want her to stop!! I asked her for a deep massage, and it was perfect pressure, enough to work the knots out if my muscles, but no pain. I had a searing headache for days, and she melted it away instantly!! We went here with my sister's bridal party and I was supremely disappointed. I only got a polish change in hopes to save a little cash, and they charged me $18 to paint my nails, and then $18 to paint my toes!! With tip that came out to a little over 2 dollars a digit...and the kicker is that I brought my own nail polish. The service wasn't bad, but no polish change is worth that kind of moolah.To seal the negative yelp review, at the last minute they tried to overcharge the BRIDE-as if she didn't just bring in 7 girls to get overpriced manicures. 3 days later, every single one of my nails was chipped. I have been going to Zanos for 3 years now and absolutely love it! Lindsey does a fantastic job with waxing- my eyebrows look amazing after her. Jemima gives wonderful massages. If you get the massage packages, they are $50 for a 50 minute massage. Karissa does a great job cutting my hair and is very efficient. Overall, I am always satisfied when I go to Zanos. On the down side, they are a bit pricier than other salons, which is why I docked them a star. And they don't seem to run as many specials as they used to, such as 20% off if you came in during a certain week and buy $200 in giftcards and get $25 free, etc. All their deals seem to be targeted towards teens, which does make me sad.
