I FINALLY found a nail tech that did my nails Perfect! Only when I tried to make a follow up appointment with her for my fill in for her to tell me she doesn't do nails, she manages... Then she made my appointment with another tech and that tech's blending technique of the ombre was not satisfactory to me. That's not good customer service. I have been coming to this place for about 7-8 years. Every time I needed my nails done though middle school to college, I would come here. I have spent thousands of dollars here, and overall really enjoyed getting my nails done here. However in the past 2 years they have gotten extremely cheep. The reason I am never coming back here is because of my last experience. I went in Wednesday when they first opened, hardly anyone was in the place. For some reason my nail lady was in a rush to get me out the door. From the time she started my nails, to when she was done was less than 15 minutes. She did them so fast and poorly. The gentleman who did my nails didn't speak to me, took a call while doing my nails and did a horrible job. My nails are uneven, polish was uneven and have small circles in the polish. I recently started coming to Queen Nails and in the first visit I knew this was going to be my nail salon for life. I’ve been getting my nails done professionally for 15 years and Queen Nails is the cleanest, friendliest, and most efficient nail salon I’ve ever been to. Not to mention it’s beautiful inside! Won't go back. I gave it a second shot sense of the reviews on here were pretty good in general, but I was just as disappointed the 2nd time around. I waited an hour with only one person ahead of me and then got a man who never bothered asking how much I wanted my nails shortened, so he took them all the way down. When I asked for square round shape, he did them so square the corners were razor sharp. When I asked him to round the corners, he shortened them even more. He polished the nails far enough below the cuticle that they look like they have been growing for a few days. He also missed part of the second coat on one of my nails so there's a streak. Someone else came in while I was there to complain about her experience the day before. It may just be coincidence that I had 2 bad experiences, but I'm not willing to try again. Read Less

This is my backup salon. Easy walkin since they have a lot of people working there. They got a 4 because their pedicure is just so so. Not enough exfoliation. Great no chip polish however. Need to pay attention to trimming nails and making sure they end up all the same length. Read Less

I just tried this place for the first time despite living so close by for several years. I was really pleased with it. I was warmly greeted and I signed in. Had to wait for a few minutes. They didn't have the color I wanted so my nail tech tried out a few similar colors on me to see which one I liked most. She did such a nice job on my nails. I think her name was Jennifer. Yes, you found it! This is your new regular spot for  your mani and pedi! Unfortunately for me, I can only  enjoy the services at this establishment when I visit and I am not a resident of Aurora. Let me tell you why you need to give this place a try!First, the ambiance! It is so feminine, classy, chic and clean!  Sorry, I could not just pick one or two descriptions for it! The crystal like chandeliers, the pillars, the massage chairs, everything about the environment was done right. Simply walking in the door makes you feel like you are about to  be treated like royalty, which you will be. They even offer drink services-- WINNING! second, the customer service was top notch. We were immediately greeted,asked to sign in and pick a nail color. We sat in the waiting area for no more than 5 minutes prior to being asked to go to  a massage chair in the back for a pedicure.  The staff were not entirely engaging during the pedicure, but that's fine. Third, the quality of the service rendered. My nail tech was very  thorough  in the services she provided. She did not miss cleaning one part of my toe nail, ensured  my cuticles were intact, massaged my legs and feet and my nail polish was  flawless! After completing my pedicure she  did my manicure at a table  in the front part of the shop.  She was a lot more engaging once we were at the manicure table. She even educated me on proper nail care. I honestly look forward to my next visit to the area and will make sure this place is on the "ourtinerary".  A little advice, this place has a steady flow of customers. Second time here and I love it. This place really feels like a spa. Prices are reasonable and the pedicure chairs are life saving. They can understandably can be busy but wait times are minimal and they are very customer service oriented. Note- they don't take tips on cards so plan ahead. My daughter and I have been here many times. We both enjoy getting our pedicures for the summer here. We always bring in a picture of what we would like our nails to look like and they accommodate the design the best that they can. My daughter has her nails done year round. They keep the place clean and remodeled. They offer a lot of different color choices for your nails. They have TV's to watch and offer you a bottle of water or a Coke. The staff are usually nice and friendly. They have massage chairs for when u are getting your pedicure. Overall, good place to get nails done. if you're looking to get any type of artificial nail, i would NOT recommend this salon. They charge you extra for everything! I've been going to this salon for years. two years ago, i would have recommended everyone to go to this salon but not anymore. Today i went in for a fill & they decided to try to charge me $5 extra for the length of my nails. It's something new every time. i've never had to pay additional for my length. my length is standard. i didn't need a cut down or a lengthen. In the past, i've gone in for a new set & they charge to take off the old set. Why? if i am a returning customer? Then when they started taking off the old set, instead of soaking the nails off, they tech decided to rip them off for "times sake". I wasn't in a rush......... They charge for the shape of your nail, the length of your nail, i'm surprised they don't charge to take off an old no chip color when you're getting a fill. I'm just surprised with the additional charges for every little thing. If you want a pedicure/manicure, sure the prices are standard with any salon, but with artificial nails, they really try to take advantage of their customers. Came here for the first time as a walk in and I was helped right away. They have a vast array of colors unlike the salon I have previously been going to, including mood changing ones! The cost for acrylic removal and a no chip manicure is comparably similar to most but as if they do a better job. My nail is covered completely with the polish with no spacing on the sides or bottom. Haven't been there since I moved to Chicago. I went today for Mother & Daughter mani & pedi day. I had the pleasure of having Steve to do my mani and pedi. I have gone to this salon for over 10 years.  It is always clean and the techs are very accommodating and knowledgeable about their craft.  If they are unsure about something, they ask their colleagues.   I would always recommend making an appointment if possible since they are a very busy salon so sometimes the wait time can be long.  They cannot guarantee a walk in time over the phone.  They have also added micro-blading (eyebrow semi-permanent tattoo) that is fantastic.  I had mine done by Lynh because I have blond eyebrows and could not be happier.  My daughter also had her brows done my Lynh because she had a scar running through hers that is no longer visible. As for the surprising bad reviews I've seen, if someone is unhappy with something they didn't understand what what being offered or were unclear in what they asked for.  I have seen this many many times while sitting and getting my own service done.  Be clear with what you want.  If you don't understand when they explain something, ask for them to explain it again, don't just agree and then complain later. Just awful. The tech screwed up my pedicure, took over an hour to finish and didn't give me the polish I wanted. I then get charged an amount that was double what I asked for eventhough I told her I did not want a no chip. since she took FOREVER to do my pedicure, there was no time for a manicure. Ok so my review as a first time client at this place. The business is beautiful and calming... Very relaxing. The owner is extremely friendly as is the other lady by the door. they know everyone by name and talk to them a lot. Prices are a little higher than I'm used to but since I was a referral I got 25% off my first time there. My nails are beautifully done.... However the girl who did my nails did not talk, like at all... And when she did it was to tell me that the shape I want was $5 more... FOR A SHAPE?? After moving to the neighborhood, this was my second nail salon trying. So happy to say I have finally found my go to spot for nails!I absolutely loved my time at Queen Nails. I came in for a no chip manicure and pedicure and everything was just fabulous. They were busy when I stopped in, but even then I only had to wait 5 minutes. Love that there are TVs all around and that the pedicure chairs have massagers. The managers Amy and Lynn are awesome! They remember everyone's names, are so personable and pretty hilarious. Loved chatting with them and the other ladies in the salon.It was so nice that I was offered something to drink and Amy made sure I was satisfied with my services.
