Ok, so I've tried going to this nail salon time and time again to see if my experience gets better. It's the closest nail salon to my house, so why not? Maybe they were just having a bad day, I thought. Well, it never got better. For the prices they charge, they do a really crappy job! I have found so many other places that are cheaper and use much higher quality gel/acrylic supplies. The people who work at this place will give you attitude when you ask them to fix something. I've never had a nail tech give me such bad attitude at other nail salons, or at least the job was done right in the first place. Most recent example that prompted me to write this: When I had my acrylics filled here, the guy who did my nails first asked me "where did you get these done? They don't look good." And he went on about how the other place I went to did them wrong and even called one of the other nail techs over to inspect them. It was extremely awkward. (I thought they looked and held up better than what I ended up getting at this place, for the record.) I told them I didn't remember the name of the other place, and they rolled their eyes at me and told me not to go back there. Ok. Sure. Then the guy was seriously going to leave my acrylics sharp, jagged, and unfiled after cutting and filling them. I'm not sure why he thought this was ok, they looked awful! He got the nail polish out and was starting to paint them when I became concerned and politely asked, "are you going to file them?" Well, my mistake, because he became extremely agitated and simply snapped at me, "they were like that before." (And they definitely weren't. At all.) I asked him that he please file them, and he got all huffy and rude. He filed my nails, grunting and mumbling to himself while being very rough with my hands. Jeez, sorry I said anything. The nails were still really sharp and uneven when I left, but I didn't dare ask the guy to fix them because he became so shockingly angry at me earlier. I just filed them myself when I got home so I didn't bring about another temper tantrum out of that guy. Of course, the part they filled turned yellow and chipped badly within one day, while the part that I had done at the other place stayed intact. Oh, the irony. This salon needs to look within before they criticize other nail places, I'm afraid. Read Less
