This was my first, and likely last, visit. The service was quick and dirty... literally. Got a pedi, soak off, and no chip and I was in and out in an hour. No one introduced themselves and there weren't any names tags worn so I have no idea who did my service. The environment is a typical nail salon, I question how sanitary everything is though seeing how they cut corners with their tools. The PROS are that it's super close to my house, they have lots of available hours, I can walk in without making an appointment, and the work is super fast with acceptable results. The CONS are that they reuse files (SO gross and cheap), don't really soak off your no chip (drill, short soak and then pry it off), don't chat much (language barrier), and there isn't much in the way of pampering (my heels weren't buffed much and the massage portions weren't even worth doing). If you just need SOMETHING and you need it now, and you can't get in anywhere else, then this is a good place to get your nails done; but I'm praying right now that I didn't also get toenail fungus or something. The nail tech was very sweet, but it is the worst full set I've ever had put on.  The nail shapes were odd and extremely inconsistent.  I had to fix them with a file when I got home and they still look awful.  I was the only one there so there was no rush. Read Less

Went in to just change my Polish color. I've been in a couple times before but never super impressed. They took off some of the polish, started prepping to paint them when I noticed I still had some of my dark red nail polish on. I was putting on a very very light baby pink this was not something that would blend in. When I asked to take off the rest of the old polish the gentleman acted like I was asking him to do extra work and was very annoyed. Then started talking to his other co-workers apparently about how annoying that was. It was then when he started painting my nails I realize how old the Polish was, thick and Gloppy. Golden Nails Spa is a good place to go for a quick mani pedi with good service, and a quality job well done.  Certainly if you are looking for a true spa and pamper service, this is not the place for you.  But if you're looking for a $35 mani/pedi that gets the job done, then this is it.Two things that could have made my experience a little bit better:1.) The nail polish selection was a bit lacking.  I felt that a majority of the colors were all in the same hue, and the selection was not as great as other comparable places I've been to.  They all also seemed a bit on the dry side, and both colors I chose needed some thinner added to make it work on my hands and feet.2.) The massage part of the pedicure was definitely lacking.  Lotion was used, but it was very quick, and I personally enjoy when a hot towel is used in conjunction which I've had at many other places.Overall though, I am happy with the service and quality of mani/pedi that I got.
