I was so frustrated going to the city every 3 weeks to get my nails done guys. On Valentine’s Day weekend every place was packed & I was so worried about being in the the long wait due to the valentine day traffic. Danielle literally did a miracle on my husbands hair piece! We spent $800 going back and forth to a hair-restoration company in Lansing. She delivered for sure! She not only trimmed his piece perfectly but also restored and made him look 15 years younger and his confidence is BACK. She truly loves her industry and I never once felt like she was doing it for money. Her prices are extremely affordable and she is blessed with quite a lot of talent. I had an amazing experience at His & Hers Beauty Bar! Danielle did my lashes and made sure they were perfect, I would recommend! The other girls were also very kind! Worst place ever. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I made an appointment for 6:30pm. I called , made sure they could help me. They said no problem. I just needed a fill in. I get there and they had LOCKED the doors and looked at me shaking their head saying they were closed when I had rushed out of work to make it on time. Worst customer service ever . Horrible horrible horrible. Such a rude guy. He screwed up my nails and wouldn't fix the issue- he said he will fix it but charge me. What?! I told him how rude he was being. He said, "whatever, You can go to the nail salon across the street". Will never be back here again. And my nails look like garbage. Also, when I first arrived. I have gone here a few times, but after my last time, I will never go back. I stopped in for a polish change after work. The lady rolled her eyes at me and said there would be a 30 minute wait when there were plenty of people not doing anything.  It was obvious she felt my business was a waste of her time. Even though she may have not made a ton of money off me that day, it wasn't the first and last time I would have gone there, had I been treated with some respect. These places are a dime a dozen and so I went to another salon nearby (Envy Nails) and they welcomed me happily. I would not recommend going to Bella....unless you like being treated like dirt. Walked in for a pedicure. The people who greeted me were friendly, but that's the only thing I enjoyed about the visit. Not impressed with the color selection--I wanted a bright blue for summer but all they had was dark blue, and many of the OPI polishes I sampled were viscous and drying out. The middle-aged woman who did my nails did not speak a word of English, so when I tried to tell her the water was not warm, she made it colder, until a neighboring coworker translated. She just didn't seem to know what she was doing, the massage was awkward and she didn't use a toe separator even though the other employees were using them. When the technician seemed to be finished, she walked away for 15 minutes without saying a word, leaving me to wonder whether I was supposed to pay or walk over under the UV light (which never happened). The pedicure itself, for how long it took, was sub-par. After 10 more minutes I finally asked, "May I check out now?" and the technician did not know how to use the credit card machine, so I had to wait for another employee to come help her. The technician just kept mumbling and giggling. Waited for the gentlemen to finish his smoke break. Rushed threw my nails and when asked if he could paint the "top/ tip" of my nail TWICE he declined. This is my favorite nail place in the area - I absolutely love it! The service is excellent. The pedicure chairs are new and massage while you have your pedicures done. There are many chairs, so I often see husbands and wives come in together to get their feet done, which is a wonderful idea. Prices are reasonable. There's a large selection of nail colors, particularly gels. My favorites are the "mood colors" which are color change and will change to different colors if your hands are warm or cold. So cool! Not sure what happened today but I was very disappointed.  Doesn't a chip pedicure include a massage on the calves or feet! I only received oil on my calves and a towel to wipe off the excessive oil! No hot towel or rubbing of my feet or calves! As a business person who has supported Bella Nails for over 4 years and 3 MGT changes by far the ambiance and atmosphere is better but c'mon! Went to get a basic manicure on my lunch break(which they knew) thinking it would take a maximum of 45 minutes leaving me enough time to get back to work. Boy was I Wrong! It took 1.5hrs for a basic  manicure! Nothing special, literally just clean up the cuticles and throw some nude polish on. It's a damn manicure, the paint  job isn't going to last for more than 48hrs tops! Not only did it take a obnoxious amount of time, they put on a base coat, 3 damn coats of paint, a top coat then oil. What the hell do they think is going to happen with that amount of paint on my nails, after a 1.5 hr manicure on a lunch break?!! Sure as sh*t, they smudged immediately as I exited as I had no time to sit the necessary 30 minutes It would have taken for them to dry. To top it all off, when I got back to work (now 1hr and 45 min later) I noticed that my cuticles were a mess! So I got to spend my night fixing the crap manicure. If they can't even get a basic manicure done correctly, I can't imagine what they would do on other services. Last but not least, though they opened a "new" set of tools, there was obvious nail polish on them which only leads me to believe they didn't properly sanitize/clean them.If you want to get a quick mani during your lunch break, this is not the place to go! I got my nails done by Vi. She did a good job. I had my nails done a bit longer but couldn't function due to the "Christmas holidays" cooking/cleaning/presents so I had to cut these a bit shorter. I had a mani, pedi, and had my eyebrows tattooed here. Everything was a great experience. I have had permanent makeup before and this was a much better experience. The tattoo hardly hurt. She would apply numbing crime when I needed it. It was very fast and the results are amazing. I'm a redhead and was worried it would be too dark for me but not at all. She use the right color for my complexion. I may go back for eyeliner. I highly recommend the permanent makeup experience. Read Less

New to the area and NEEDED to get my nails done. Right down the street from my house. Came in 5 mins before closing (if I knew they were closing I wouldnt have bothered) and the took me in like it was not an issue at all. 15 mins later another girl walked in and they took her to! SUPER ACCOMMODATING. I got a no chip mani, she was super friendly (her name was V), went as close as possible to the cuticle :) which I loved. The layer of no chip was applied alot thinner than what I am used to at the other salon I have been going to. She applied it like a normal polish, I was hesitant but I let her do her thing. She did 3 coats of no chip and a week later my nails look like they were done 2 days ago :) will definitely be my new nail salon. Read Less

I went today for the first time since I'm pretty new to the area. I'm not sure how clean things were,  I guess I'll hope for the best. I just think for a $35 manicure plus tip that I would have been able to communicate better with the technician. ..I don't think she was able to understand me at all, which means I didn't get exactly what I wanted.  My nails do look pretty good but other than the fact that it's no chip, I do just as good of a job myself, it just wasn't an awesome experience. ..mediocre I'd say. DO NOT GO HERE. I had to go to the Dr today after getting a manicure here last week. I got an infection in one of my cuticles from dirty tools and within a week it spread to 4 fingers and now I'm on a heavy dose of antibiotics for 10 days and have to soak my fingers 3x a day for 20 minutes to naturally get the pus out. Not good. I just went there and my nails look like crap. Save the money and go somewhere else. The lady made a mistake and then just tried to put polish over it and so I have bubbles all over. If I wasn't on my lunch break I would have stayed there and made them redo it, but I only had 45 min and the cruddy mani took 40 min (which is forever in manicure time...she didn't even put lotion on my hands). I had been going to Nail Envy for a couple of years. The last time I was there they had no idea what I was asking for and ended up giving me exactly what I did not want. I was so upset I was almost in tears. They barely apologized and charged me $50. The next week I went into Bella and they knew exactly what I wanted. I just moved here and didn’t know where to get my nails done. While I was driving, I saw Belle Nails and went into get my nails done. It was a fun experience. They were all so friendly there and the technician that did my nails is very nice. She did a good job on my nails, so I got my toes done too. Its been about a week and my nails still look good. Of course my toes look great. I had a good experience there and they are reasonable in price about $33 for my nails and toes, so I wanted to pass a message for anyone whom just move hereto try it. I went the Bella Nail and got a french manicure and pedicure done. I paid $50 for it. The next day my fingernails were already chipping away so I put my own clear coat on top a few times hoping they would stop. 5 days later I had to take all the polish off because they looked terrible. Also, 3 days after I went there, 2 of my toe nails got chipped. I'm in my 40th of pregnancy so I can't do much. They shouldn't have chipped that fast especially not for $50. I will never go back I don't recommend anyone else going unless they want to waste their money. Read Less
