A1 is amazing! Both the husband and wife do a terrific job and are beyond friendly. Very pleasant and always chat with you which is nice. They have stayed open late for me and are always patient and are sure you are happy before you leave. Just walked in at noon on a Saturday and there were only 2 employees working. If you're looking for a personalized spa experience, this is not it. In the time I was getting my fill in, the man working with me was back and forth with 2 other clients. I feel like that is very rude and shouldn't happen. He never asked how short I wanted my nails or what shape, so after filling in I had to remind him that I told him already that I wanted them very short. He said "oh well we don't usually shorten the nails with a fill". Isn't that the point of a fill-in?? Your nails grow and when you go to get the fill, they should be shortened and shouldn't be an extra $3 charge to shorten them. When painting my nails, he wasn't covering the whole nail. He said it's because when I washed my hands after he put the oil on my hands that I didn't dry them enough. I respectfully told him that I've had my nails a very long time and I know how to dry my hands/nails when they're washed. Very unprofessional service and no one likes being told they are wrong, especially the customer! I will never come back to this salon and it's a shame because I just moved in the area and this is right down the street from me. One visit was enough!! Read Less

This was my first time at this nail salon and the owners were so friendly and polite. As you can see my French was done perfect.I didn't make an appointment and I was serviced very fast and they do accept credit/debit cards also you can leave the tip on the card.Very pleased with my experience here!!! As others have mentioned there is a very nice husband and wife team that own and operate this salon.  After I read some  of the reviews, I wanted to try it since it is nearby my house.  They work very slow and it was over 2 hours for a no-chip manicure and pedicure.  He begun by filing off my old no- chip, leaving my nails very thin.   Three of my nails broke within 24 hours due to how thin they were. I told him I had never had a pedicure before and while doing my pedicure,  he cut my toe when he was trimming my cuticle.  They have massaging chairs but he didn't tell me about it til the end and I spent a lot if time sitting around while he talked and worked on other people.  He didn't give me any instruction on what I should do or where to sit next.  I didnt know I was supposed to sit in a different chair in the middle  of the floor with my feet in front of a little fan and he didnt tell me how long I  had to sit there before he was off to work on someone else.  I had to ask if I could pay and leave.  I forgot to mention that I did have an appointment and I wasnt a walk in. The salon had a lot of things laying around and was very messy so I question the cleanliness of their tools and foot baths.  He pulled a pumice out of a bin and worked on my feet and when he was done he put it back in the bin.  I won't be returning. This family-owned business has been there 16 years.  The husband and wife team are Awesome!  Go there with your boys and girls to get nails painted for only $5.  You cannot beat that.  Plus, you are supporting this lovely Vietnamese-American family every time you go.  If you are not happy with something you just go back and they fix it for you!  Prices are great!  Pay with a card and bring cash for a tip.  They are always willing to help you!  Always!  Go with your daughters for a mother-daughter pedicure, or get your gel or acrylic nails as well.  They also do waxing and eyelashes!  So fun!  Go today, you will not regret it! Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. Pedi was not that great, and chipped off quicker than any other pedi I have had. It's a family run place, so it's not really professional in there. There are tvs living room furniture, kids toys and kids running around. It almost feels as if you have walked into someones house. For some, they may like this. I however found it irritating. I'm paying salon prices, so the place should be run like a nail salon.  The messiness of the place was a huge turn off. Nice family, but I wont be back. Read Less

They always do a GREAT job on my nails. When I get acrylic nails done I like to do an over lay instead of tips. Tony does such an amazing jobs making them nice and thin so my nails don't feel fake. Looks real and keeps them strong. They don't over charge and I like they are family owned. They focus on that one shop. Read Less

Been going to A1 Nails for a few years now.  It's extremely close to my home and the owners are super flexible and accommodating when it comes to last minute appointments.  I get a gel overlay on my nails, and it lasts for 3-4 weeks while still looking nice and I've never had a problem breaking or cracking.
