Love Nails is absolutely fantastic. Every time we go, the whole experience ranges from delightful to side-stitching humorous. They do incredible artwork, have a wide selection of colors, and procedures to improve nail and skin health (fixed my ingrown in about 3 seconds flat). they didn't tell the pointed tip on my acrylic nail were $5 extra and charged $5 FOR POINTED TIPS what bogus and did she bad job at clean them up i had to file all my nails a thome becuase fabric getting caught under the points like lace. I WILL NEVER GO BACK Read Less

Beautiful and clean salon. Everyone was friendly. Pedicure was very nice and the time spent on it was good. I did miss the hot towels and stone massage I usually get from other places but that’s okay, I enjoyed the atmosphere here. Will definitely be back and definitely recommending to others! My mom brought me here for a pedicure while I was visiting from out of town. We were greeted warmly by Jen at the door. The atmosphere at Love Nails was so fun!! It was different from so many nail salons where workers speak to each other exclusively in their own language. Haven't been to this salon in a while, came in for a full set. Previously went somewhere (Ivy Nails) and my fill started lifting after a week. I annoyedly picked them off and came here. Truly the BEST place to get your nails done. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and fun all at the same time. I've been to quite a few nail salons over the years, and I will say that I've never walked into a place where all of the staff knows each client's name as they walk in- The clients ask how so-and-so's vacation was, they share stories, etc.. It's really like a family there. But, no worries, if you just want to relax and not socialize, they respect that, too. As far as their work is concerned, ALL of the techs do a very professional job (I've always been beyond pleased) and the prices are competitive. They also provide a 'punch' card, so at each visit you get credit for your purchase- Once that punch card is filled you get a discount the next time you come in.. My daughter and I have been coming here for two years now and would never go anywhere else!  We just love Jen, and even if one of us is not getting our nails done, or one is done before the other, we stay and talk.  Everyone is so friendly...the place is clean, with music going.  Jen does my nails perfect every time.  I get compliments on them so often that I carry some of her business cards with me.  Yes, sometimes they are busy, and even with an appointment I have waited as long as 45 minutes.  That can happen anywhere at any business and for me personally it doesn't bother me.  I read a magazine or chit chat because I'm on my way home from work and in no hurry.  I can understand if you're pressed for time, but since it happens rarely, just ask for another appointment, or wait.  But, what I do like, is that they aren't rushing the person in the chair just because you're next.  Everyone is treated the same, and must love their nails or tell Jen and she'll make sure you do!  They give you a bottle of water, and they have a "punch card"...after (either 8 or 10) punches your bill is 15% off.  I will get a mani and a pedi on that day.  It's not just the great job on my nails that I "love", it's the people too. I went here originally wanting a mani pedi. I settled for a pedi because of their pricing. The pedi was ok-I liked the color, but the employee who did mine disappeared for long periods of time. The person I was with was dry and finished before I was half way through mine. She also left a lot of oil on my legs-to the point that my legs and feet were shiny and I was slipping out of my shoes. My shoes were damp from it.The space was small, but tidy. I wish they had a large menu on the wall to show pricing like most places do. I feel they were over priced. I will not be returning. First time I went there, service was good. Second time, service was mediocre.  Third time, I had to walk out after waiting for 30 minutes to even be seen. The owner said I was next to be seen, but since an appointment showed up, they took the other person in for a full set. My manicure could've been done in 15 minutes. This is a little place in a kind-of-hard-to-reach strip mall on the south side of Algonquin Road. Since I usually get nails done after work, this poses a bit of a logistics issue with the snarling traffic. I took the back roads and found that much more manageable. Staff is very friendly and greet you right away. I did call to make an appointment, just in case, but there was only one other woman in there. That was at 5pm on a Tuesday.It's tidy and no chemical odor, which is great. I only do pedis with the occasional manis. I don't do gels or even no-chip, so I can't comment on those services. Were the tools clean? I don't know. She had them in her basket, so who's to know where they were before or where they were going after. Massage chairs are nice! There's 5 of them. Fantastic nail polish selection! Finally!! I couldn't decide between 5 different shades of orange. Wish they had more Essie, though. They're nontoxic.There's different levels of pedis. I did the basic today. You get the foot soak, cuticle removing, light foot scrub with the sponge, lotion, brief massage, and a hot towel. I'll try the others and review. TV was captioned, THANK YOU! Kim is very gentle and nice. You get a small bottle of water to drink. Caution: tips are cash only. 4 stars for being a bit pricier than other salons in this category.Definitely will be back! I'm not from the area, but I recently stopped by with a friend who lives in the area. We each had a mani and pedi, and we walked away happy. Overall, the service was great - fast, professional, friendly, and clean. Some noteworthy points:-Upon arriving, we were given a mini bottle of water (nice touch!). -My manicure and pedicure look great. My mani started to chip after a couple of days, but I don't think that it's their fault (I think that I just wash my hands a lot). My pedi is staying strong, and it looks like it will last longer. -They offer a punch card - spend a given amount and receive a discount! -The customer service was above average. The employees greeted us with a smile and said goodbye. I find that many salons come off as kind of cold; it was nice to find a salon with a warm and welcoming environment. I went here for my first manicure ever with my Matron of Honor.  I researched nail salons looking at reviews and prices and selected this one because it seemed like it had all rave reviews.  I booked online for an 11AM appt and called the next morning to make sure that my MOH could get a pedi at the same time since the 11AM time slot was no longer available.  I was told no problem.We arrive right on time and take a seat.  The place is packed.  We were greeted very nicely and even given a small bottle of water - which I thought was fantastic.  We were told it was a 30 min delay because the first appt was late so everyone is going to be 30 min later ...I don't know of any other business that accommodates at the inconvenience of everyone else, but they do.  We say that's fine and my girl and I sit and chat.  45 minutes later we are told we can sit in the massager chairs since someone will be able to start a pedi soon.  I'm allowed to sit in one too even them I'm getting a mani so we may continue chatting.  At 12:10 I turn to my friend and ask how much longer she wants to wait since we've been here over an hour and I have other things to do besides sit around.  At 12:15 someone finally comes over to start the pedi; however, some other chick keeps messing up her nails sitting under the dryer and keeps calling the guy over to fix it.  Perhaps if she stopped walking around and talking with her hands that would keep the flailing mishaps down.  I was astounded that he actually stopped to redo her nails.  multiple times.  Again- inconvenience.Bottom line.  I thought the service was absolutely terrible.  Plus i was charged $40 for a no chip mani and their website says it $35.  We weren't even offered a discount for the long wait or anything. My daughter and I stopped into Love Nails Salon yesterday afternoon for pedicures after first going to our usual nail salon, Creative Nails, only to find the salon shuttered and empty.  A quick look to Yelp found that Love Nails Salon was very highly rated and only a few blocks away, so due to the great reviews we decided to give it a try.   We were very glad we did! We were warmly greeted and asked to sign in and choose a nail color.  The atmosphere was very nice and inviting and cheerful pop music was playing on the stereo.  We immediately liked the atmosphere in this salon better than our previous salon.     We were handed menus so we could decide which variety of pedicure we wanted.  We decided to go with the standard pedicure, at $25.   They also have a special moisturizing treatment pedicure for dry, cracked feet for $35  called Honey Princess Pedicure.  Finally, there was the Deluxe Pedicure, which was $43.  That included everything in the Honey Princess Pedicure, plus a mask and hot stone massage.   I'm going to try the Deluxe next time! I have arthritis in my knees, and I really appreciated that the pedicure stations telescoped so that I didn't have to bend my knees at weird, painful angles.  We liked the massage chairs at this salon better, as well.The techs were very professional, friendly and courteous.   My daughter's nail tech took extra care with her pedicure because she had recently had an ingrown toenail.  He kept checking with her to make sure he was not hurting her.     We were slightly disappointed, because we used to get the exfoliation at our old salon with a standard pedicure, which was $25 (or $22 for students).  It's $35 for the exfoliation pedicure here.   The standard pedicures were great, though, and the techs did not rush through them.    We were offered bottles of  complimentary "clear wine" (water), which was definitely a nice touch.  I ended up also getting my eyebrows waxed, and the tech did a great job.  Most natural looking eyebrow waxing I've had!They also have a VIP rewards program where they give you a punch card and each time you spend $15 they initial your VIP card with the date. When the card is full, you receive some free service (but I forget what.  Maybe $15 off your next service?)  We're glad to have found this salon, which is even closer to our house.  Thanks, Yelpers, for the great recommendation.  We'll definitely be back! Being a new nail salon, we had been anxiously anticipating trying it out, especially considering the other spas in the area are decent, but not great.Inside is nicely decorated, very clean, pleasant smelling, and well laid out.What was so surprising, was less the decor, but the welcome reception we received.  It was like walking into a home of old friends, filled with sunshine and smiles.  Jen and Kate are both so amazingly friendly and welcoming!They were very easy to talk with and showed a genuine interest in what I was saying.While I initially went for just a pedicure, I ended up getting a manicure too, because I did not want to leave yet and really enjoyed the conversation.Not only is the service top notch, the quality of their work is excellent.  It is apparent that they really enjoy what they do and are good at it.My tech, Kate, consistently asked to make sure water temperature, hot stones, and paraffin wax were the right temperature for me.  She really spent the time to make my feet and hands look as good as they can.I highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family and will definitely be back.
