I have been going here for many years and love them. Took a little break off and almost didn't go back because of the recent reviews, but I trusted my instincts and went back since I've never had a bad experience. Tonight was fabulous like usual, even got my favorite lady cindy last min as a walk in an hour before they close, I usually make an appointment with her. Even though it had been many months she still remembers my uncle and grandmother and the way I like my nails. People complain about them speaking vietnamese but we have our little chats and then I zone out relax and watch TV. That's what I want when I get my nails done, not 21 questions. People act like they don't speak or understand English in the recent reviews and that is so far fetched. I love this place! Be back in two weeks for a fill! Read Less

It was the worst experience ever. I couldn’t find the place and when I called them to ask for help they didn’t give me an answer. I was going there with my mom to have a good time but ended up embarrassing myself because of lovely nail. Would never recommend this place. Go it you want to have a bad time. Read Less

This place is a joke!!!! Perhaps the fact that there always laughing and talking Vietnamese and when confronted they said they're not fluent in English. Then how do you communicate with your client? Also this place is over charging from that is originally on the door and website. My mom got a fill in which was 17. Then I got a full set,shaped round square for freaken 38 dollars!!! I used to really enjoy Lovely Nails. All of the nail techs do a good job in a timely fashion. It had been awhile since I had been so decided to go back. Unfortunately, it will be the last time. My nail tech did a nice job but she charged me $35 which at the time I didn’t think anything of. However, it wasn’t until I got in my car that I saw the sign on THE WINDOW that says $30 for no chip manicures. Who knows how often they pull this with customers. It is probably due to their silly policy of only accepting cash tips (sketch) but whatever the case I will not be going back. I suggest Happy Nails in Bensenville or Holiday Nails in Elmhurst. Both places have fair pricing, do a good job, and they actually charge what is listed! Very unhappy about this and will let my friends know not to go to Lovely Nails either. Read Less

This used to be my favorite place to go but I guess they got too comfortable with me that they would start to work on my pedicure and stop half way through to help someone else.  Then come back to finish me later while my feet got wrinkled from being in the water too long. 3 times that happened to me. She did a good job at waxing my eyebrows, but the acrylic nail she fixed for me looked clunky and fake compared to my other ones. My sister was with me as well, and the glitter they added to her nails was clumpy and uneven. It seemed like they didn't really put in much effort and just rushed through it. I called in to secure a spot for an acrylic nail fill. The woman that answered was the owner, Amy. I asked her how long the wait would be and she said 15-20 minutes because all the techs are tied up. I then proceeded to ask if all her techs are equipped to handle acrylic fill ins because twice I was told that I had to wait because a tech did not feel comfortable to take on the task. No issue with me, but I would like to know the realistic wait since I had an event tonight. Amy responded, "excuse you , all nails techs at this salon can handle acrylic nails." Baffles me that an owner would talk to a client of two years like that. Certainly lost my business. Read Less

My neighbor referred this place to me, so I figured I'd give it a shot.  Got there at almost 2 in the afternoon on a Thursday and was shocked to see how packed it was.  I was greeted right away and was advised there'd be a 30 minute wait.  I decided to run an errand and come back. So when I came back the same folks were being serviced (which was fine as that led me to believe that they actually took their time with each client), so I sat and waited my turn.  I'd say maybe almost 40 minutes later they called on me.  At that point I have to admit I was a tad bit irritated because by no means had I planned on sitting in a nail shop,  on a nice afternoon and on my day off for an extended amount of time. So... as I am directed to my seat by one of the younger gentlemen that work there,  he asked how I was and that pretty much summed up our conversation.  During the service,  it seemed as if there were shortcuts taken which really irritated me,  but I sat patiently just to see if he'd do what was missed towards the end.  Well, I have no issues with people speaking different languages.  What I do have an issue with, is the different languages being spoken,  the looks, laughs and the expressions from the workers while I'm being serviced. It was obvious that he for whatever reason had jokes/comments about my feet/legs which I thought was totally rude. At that point I was pissed. The lack of professionalism was ridiculous. Instead of making a scene,  which I was already on edge at that point,  I figured I'd write a review and let my tip show how much I appreciated his service instead, or lack of. Now on a positive note,  my toes and nails look nice and I actually would consider going back as I seen a couple other workers that appeared to have better customer service skills than he. I love this place!!! I have lived in addison for over 13 years and have gone to so many nail places. This by far is my favorite !!I have never received any type of infections or issues with my nails ever in the history of me going to Lovely. I am guilty of not making appointments because I really do not have a set schedule being a business owner myself. They always take me with minimalWait. The staff is very friendly and after you come in a few times they recognize you and treat you like family. Great people ,great quality work !!! No issues with any of my gel ,acrylic or no chips!!!
