My first and only experience with this place was terrible. I walked in with two of my friends, wanting a pedicure. There was one lady working on someone, and told us to sit down in the chairs. Another girl walked in for a manicure, and the lady working told her it would be 20 minutes. Then, another lady walked in wanting a manicure, and she told her it would be a 45 minute wait. Meanwhile, another lady that worked there walked in, and started working on the girl that came in after us. My friends and I were still waiting. 20 minutes later, another girl that worked there walked in and started working on the other woman that wanted a manicure. 35 minutes later, I asked how much longer and of course, they told me oh right now right now. Went in for a full set and was started by a man named John. He was already working on a gal next to me who was soaking in some acetone to remove her nails. As he jumped from her to me and from me to her I realized he never washed his hands in between so I asked him why. He said if I did that i would have to wash it over and over again. But, I asked aren't you suppose to? He said yes and then after a brief moment he told me i could go somewhere else to get my nails done. My nails were half done at that point so I stayed and I hate myself for not just getting up and walking out. He had a woman finish them for me and yes she washed her hands. Really close to home, so I ignored bad reviews & went anyway. They manually removed my acrylic nails instead of soaking them off, & it hurt. They then insisted that I get gel nails (for a stronger nail now that my acrylics were off) & I was there over 2 hours for a full manicure & pedicure. I always go here when I get my nails done. I've gone across the street a few times when Happy Nails was closed an they were never very nice to me. Happy Nails does a great job and works their butts off every day! Very convenient on my way home from work as well :) And you don't need an appointment! Read Less

Ok..so was just going to let this go but...I went to Happy nails in Post Falls this last week for a pedicure decided to get my nails done also because tbe guy said he would do them for 30.00 so both would have been 65.00, when I was done he said 75.00! he said I must have misunderstood him..I told him I didnt think so since he asked me 4 times during my pedi if I wanted it done. I should have been concerned about my pedicure when she took the cheese grater thing ran water ov...er at the sink used it on my feet then rinsed it under water again and gave it to the girl next to me to use on the guy in the next chair! my feet and hands have been killing me all week thought maybe it was because not used to having it done can barely walk on my feet and my fingers are so sore....Wont Ever go back there! They are not sanitary at all the man doing my nails did not even wash his hands before he left polish on it from when I previously had my nails done and did not care to fix it they overcharged me for a set of basic nails with regular polish they also have their website link to a completely different Happy Nails in California with different prices they Falls advertise that they do eyebrow threading and they do not they also never sanitized any of their equipment that they use very gross and poor service Read Less

Just a word to the wise. I had the worst experience at this salon 1/21/17. I walked in for a fill on acrylic nails. The gentleman (we use this term loosely)on duty asked what I needed and I said a fill he said take a seat here. I was the only client at that time. It was 2:30 pm and not long after a few more more gals started to arrive. He started to work on my nails and while he was using the drill a tip of the nail shot off. He then took an artificial nail and started to jam it in between my nail and the acrylic. I yelled ouch 3 times and he said ouch or hot. Why I  didn't leave at that point I  don't know. Probably because I had somewhere to be  right after. He started with the drill again on that nail and got the nail so thin that when he put the primer on it burned like holly hell! Again he smirked and said ouch or hot. That night and thru the next day my finger throbbed. I went back to the salon to address the issue. There was a sign on the door stating they were closed. The next day I left work to be there when they opened and again they were closed. So today I went there and encountered the same gentleman and told him he had hurt me and my finger was sore for several days and I would like a refund. He said they don't refund money. I said that was unfortunate because I had never had anyone hurt me before so I would definitely be writing a  BAD review! He offered no resolution and barely apologized. Read Less

I've been here several times now and while the end result is pretty nice, the women who work there are rude. They do not greet you when you walk in and they all appear to be unhappy to be there. Today was the second time I've been in and was told "20 minutes" for a pedicure. I sat down and waited 30 minutes in the chair with no water in the foot bath and there were still 4 women ahead of me waiting for their pedicures. One woman actually asked for water and was told no! Wow, really?! I got up and left and they had the nerve to talk crap amongst themselves about it lol... totally over this place. I've been here 3 times. 1st visit the gal that helped me was so rude and unfriendly, i said I'd never go back. Not a relaxing experience at all. 2nd visit I was in a pinch, took a chance the guy that helped me was very polite and gave a great pedi & mani. Happy Customer! :) 3rd visit. Ugh... I got the mean gal again but I gave her another chance, and again she was hateful & got mad because I didnt want the more expensive pedi. I waited 45 mins for my $25 pedi to start, it was over in 15 minutes. Dissapointing to say the least! :( plus, I ask for a mani too, never got one. What I did get however was an infection, oh yes i had to leave work early today to see the Doc, because my toe is throbbing in pain, $68 later, I found out it was from my recent pedicure @ Happy Nails. :( NEVER will I go back... If I could give zero stars I would. They are rude. Made my mom cry because they were rude when she asked them to fix her manicure. It looked like a 5 yr old painted them. I like that there is no need for an appointment. But sadly I do not like the service. I went in for full set and was not happy with the shape. I tried to tell the tech at the time but.....I returned  the day after and they wanted to charge another $25 to fix the poorly shaped nails. I ended up having to go without the gel polish because I did not want to pay my initial $40 plus $5 tip plus the $25 to have them repair the flat square nail shape. I had to take regular polish and still pay  an additional $10. $55 later I feel burned. Feel that after being a client for so long they should've just fixed them. Read Less

I went here to get a fill for the first time and decided to have a pedicure as well. The pedicure went okay although it didn't seem they spent a whole lot of time on it. The fill was a different story. The girl that did it wanted to put on a brand new set of nails after I had just spent good money on a full set at a different salon a few weeks earlier. She decided to go ahead and just do a fill and they looked great when they were done. Two days later one nail turned green underneath and I went back to the salon. The same girl was perplexed as to why it happened. (Dirty instruments...duh!) She removed the nail and said I needed to leave it off so now I have a set of beautiful nails with one gone. Yuck! Two days later I had another, the next day another until six out of ten fingers had been affected within one week. I decided to go to Happy Nails to get a pedicure when I entered the salon I was alarmed to discover that a basic pedicure was $25.00. I have never paid that much ever.  When I asked the woman if there were any specials she was very rude and replied no.  She had me seated and the water was scorching hot I asked her to turn down the water level it was literally burning my feet.  She asked if I had ever had a gel treatment on my toes and I replied "no" she then told me it would be "$15.00 extra dollars." I replied "No, thanks."  As she began to cut my toenails I noticed she was cutting them way too short it wasn't till after alcohol was poured on my toes that I noticed my toe was burning. Looking closer I realized she cut the skin underneath the toe and it was split open.  I asked her if my toe would be alright and she said "Yeah, your fine" eventually she got glue and glued that area back together.  When scrubbing my feet she said I needed to have the calluses removed and that it would be additional for that. Once again I told her I was fine without the calluses remover.  When I went home I noticed that my toe ( the one split open) burned very badly and continued to burn throughout the night to the point where I couldn't wear socks.  Two days after receiving my pedicure I decided to call Happy Nails and the same woman who did my pedicure, "Lindsey" answered the phone. I asked to speak to the manager and she said "he is not here" when I asked if there was a number or email I could reach him out she replied "no." I then asked when he would be in and she replied " he comes here whenever" which I said "but he is not here now?" Once again she replied no. The customer service I received here was extremely poor and staff was extremely rude.  The fact that I could not enjoy or relax during my pedicure because my toes were getting split open irritated me greatly.  Also, the fact that I was attempted to be "upsold" twice was annoying.  I will be calling again to consult with the manager "Johnny" because ultimately I want the overpaid amount of $25.00 paid back to me and I WILL NOT be returning there.
