I had been to this place before, and thought it might be nice to try and give them a second chance. I WAS SO WRONG! My friend and I set an appointment for pedicures, we did the regular pedicure option with gel. The guy that did mine did not let my feet soak (I sat in warm water for less than 5 minutes), did not put lotion on me, did not give the foot or leg massage, did not use the normal tools on my toe nails other than to clip them. When my friend got her's I looked at what her guy was doing and it was no where near what mine was. I also tried to tell them but he could not understand what I was saying. I was so annoyed, when I went to pay I let the lady know I was not paying full price of 40$ because I didn't get half the stuff my friend did and what was on their price list for a 25$ pedicure. They did nothing but argue with me and said the guy did all of those things, the owner I'm assuming, asked to feel my legs for lotion and how soft they were. STAY AWAY! My friend and I just got pedicures done there today and we are NEVER going back!!! I called to make an appointment for 130, and we showed up and still had to wait because they just kept taking walk-ins. The guy who did my pedi (who we think is the owner) did a great job! The guy who did my friend’s pedi didn’t do 1/2 the things listed for the pedicure, and when she tried to ask him he didn’t understand her. We went to pay and she argued that she wasn’t going to pay full price for not receiving the full services, and the owner said “Well he said he did those things”, and still charged her full price. Also, $40 for a pedicure with gel polish — no designs or anything extra?! That is more than anywhere else I’ve been! Very friendly staff. However my cuticles were shredded, bled on multiple fingers. Totally messed up my nail bed, the drill kept burning me. Most of my nails are uneven and 5 of them scuffed on the first day. I’d say it was not worth the $45. I was a walk-in for a regular manicure. No color, basically nothing but a nail and cuticle trim.Wasn't super impressed with honestly anything about this place. Usually I pay about 10 in Meridian for this. Ended up paying $17 here.Like I said wasn't impressed with any of it. Call made appointment for three pedicures. Was told no problem… Showed up they only had three people working and two were doing nails. One friend started the pedicure while the two sat in chairs waiting for the water to be filled… Had to wait 20 minutes and then service horrible ! Way overpriced for the facility that they have and the service that they provide. Would definitely not recommend anybody ! Beware!!!!! They do not want you to use a credit card anyway shape or form ... daughter was told their Credit card machine was broken at one point and had to use the ATM and they pushed us into writing a check or using the ATM machine . I never write a review without going to the establishment several times. My one negative is that I did try and walk in twice, but they had a 30 minute wait and I didn't stick around and wait. I went for a pedicure on a Thursday around noon, I did call ahead of time to make sure they could get me in. I loved my pedicure. The gentleman took his time, did a great job cleaning and prepping my feet, cleaning the cuticles, did a great massage and took his time painting my nails. 100 percent satisfied.I went in for a manicure on Friday evening. My daughter and her 3 friends went in to get the $27.00 special. After the first two were done the gal charged them each $40.00. They argued with them until another customer helped pay the difference. After this whole ordeal the next two girls sat down for the same $27.00 ensuring beforehand that it was in fact the $27.00 deal. Afterward they too were charged $40.00 each. I stopped here because my regular nail place was booked for the day. The staff was nice but it seemed like they were in a hurry. It was towards the end of the day but they didn't close for over an hour. Basically everything was rushed. It wasn't enjoyable at all, and I did not get a hand massage with my manicure. The next day the polish on my nails complete chipped off my right hand and partially chipped off the right. My toes also started to chip. Normally regular polish lasts me more than a week. Hands down the WORST experience at a nail salon I've ever had. I went in for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. The guy that did my mani didn't clean my cuticles and painted the polish right over them. I tried to ask him to please fix it and he completely ignored me. When I asked politely a third time he started to file the side of my nail beds instead! I told him to stop because it hurt and he told me my nails are fine. The pedicure was subpar, at best, and started chipp...ing the next day. Before leaving I asked on of the other workers to please fix the manicure. They tried to tell me it looks fine, but I insisted, so she did. I can't say it's any better. She neglected to take off the original so it's patchy and uneven. ABSOLUTELY HORRID !!! My manicure chipped off of several nails the next day !!! Went back or a repair and told me it would be 15.00 more for jell .... Had an eyebrow wax and wanted to tip 3.00 on 10.00 ... only had two ones so asked for bills for a 20.00 ... She brought me 2 fives and a ten . evidently anted a 50% tip... and she also jokingly but inappropriately reached for my cash when I took it out of my wallet .... After a third incident I finally gave up going back, first problem began when I went to get my nails done with a "clear" look no polish, the lady decided to do pink and white and charged extra without even asking me if that was ok. After paying extra, two nails broke within two days, I go back to get them fixed and she puts a different color fill. I gave 1 star because 0 was not a choice. 25 years of pedicures and I have NEVER had such a terrible one done! I feel like I was robbed! And, on top of that she was so rude! When I pointed out that she didn't get the dead skin off my feet and that the nails were not cut evenly or were they cut the same on both feet, she ignored me. When I asked if she would warm up the water, she asked, Why? I said it was because I liked it warmer and she let out a huge sigh and turned to the... guy that was working on my mom. I was so shocked with the whole experience. When I got home, I called to ask for the owner or manager and was told they were on vacation and when I asked when they would be back, she said they wouldn't be back for 2 weeks. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Unprofessional not experienced enough and freaking nuts! Went in for just basic mani/pedi before I went to the hospital to be induced for labor. Called ahead of time and asked about pricing and set an appointment. I was told 4 pm and 50$ total. Went in waited an hour until someone was available. First, nails weren't cut evenly during pedi and the polish used was see through in some places. Then waited another 45 minutes for the mani and same ...nails weren't cut evenly and polish was see through in some areas. I'm not one to complain but I asked for a second coat on my fingers she did that but left out the corners on a simple white tip. Then I decide whatever because I'm having contractions and I wanna get out of there I go to pay and she tells me my total is 77$ I laugh a little and say no I was told 50$ and that's what I'm paying (for a nail job my 4 year old could have done better) she proceeds to try and charge me 77$ cause a scene and wants me to put a tip in and I cancel the transaction and tell her I want my card back and again that I'm only paying 50$ which is what I was told. She literally tried to charge my card 77$ 11 times and ended up locking up my card Then wouldn't hand my card back to me. I got notifications on my phone that my card was charged 3 times for the 77$ and then 37$ for a tip or something. I finally got my card and gave her cash and got the heck out of there. I had been to this salon before and received decent service. Today was different when I went in to get a full set of gels. Everyone was nice enough but it felt extremely rushed...like steps were missed. My nails look ok but not as good as before. The most frustrating thing was that they would not let me use my debit or credit card. Instead I was told to get cash out of the cash machine in their shop which caused additional charges to me from the machine and my bank. It was a frustrating visit today. Not sure I'll be back. Called to see if they do acrylic nails and asked for the price to have a pink and white backfill done. They quoted  $17. I told them I wanted the type with the powder and monomer just to make sure they understood what I wanted done. Upon arrival they said it would be $37. Then after the nail tech had filed down the length on all 10 nails he said it would be $45 because the pink I have on my nails was different than their pink powder. I was done. I said no thank you and left after my daughter's gel nails were done. They charged $15 to put a couple coats of gel on my daughter's nails. No cuticle care or anything. Was not impressed. I got a pedicure and gel manicure. I was a walk in, i got serviced right away. They weren't friendly to me. My pedicure hurt my feet, they really dig around your nails... and my gel manicure peeled off after a week... I was SO disappointed. I won't ever go back. Read Less

In Nampa visiting my sister, drove by DD nails and decided to try them out. I'm very impressed, they we're friendly and did a great job! We both had pedicures with polish. I added a flower and my sister got the French manicure polish. Besides great service, they also had popular music videos playing on large tv's and nice massage chairs. Horrible customer service...dont want to take credit cards, ask you to use the atm and pay cash??? Finally will take c.c if you insist. I was able to get a full set of gel nails done on a longer lunch break (1.5 hrs total). I called the day of and was able to get an appointment. They did mention an appointment would avoid longer waits so keep that in mind. The woman who did my nails was personable and seemed to care if I liked the way they came out. During the process she would ask me if I like the shape etc. the shop seemed clean. The one thing I would do as I do with any nail shop is bring your own nail tools and ask them to sanitize whatever else they use in front of you. Better safe than sorry. I made an appointment for 1:30 pm, arrived 5 minutes early and was told to pick out my nail polish color. Ok, no worries. That's normal. I pick it out, front desk person finishing up a transaction with a customer so I wait in line like she tells me to. Says one more minute. Ok, again, normal. No worries. She tells me to sit down and wait some more. I do. She tends to the start of a pedicure behind me with a customer who was there first when I arrived. Again I sit and wait. And wait. And wait some more. No one ever lets me know that they'll be with me soon or something to that effect. Never said they didn't have time for me even though I'd made an appointment by phone. Normally I have been going to a place in meridian but due to the bad roads and weather needed to find something closer to home. Saw the amazing reviews and decided to check it out. I decided to try DD Nails because they're close to our home, and I had been considering them for awhile. They are new (3 months) but totally experienced. I had a mani/pedi with gel mani. They are the BEST! They did an excellent job, and took time to do everything right, so I didn't feel like I was rushed in and out. Got a wonderful foot, leg, and hand massage, and my nails just look terrific. And they are all so friendly! The salon is CLEAN which has become more and more important to me, as it seems so many of the nail places just aren't sanitary! Dust everywhere, old faded towels, "massage" chairs that feel like jack hammers, and dingy-looking foot baths and instruments. I highly recommend DD Nails! Will definitely be going back. If you're close to the Nampa Idaho Center this is the place to go!:) It's a very convenient location right off the freeway behind the car wash, Subway & Taco Bell (Garity Blvd.) & they're very happy/willing to take walk-ins. Their flexible schedule works perfect for my busy schedule because i can get my nails done if I get a work break. I've gotten my nails done for years and I've been to multiple salons in the valley and this is one of the best! I've been here a few times now since they just open and I am not exaggerating when I say ive gotten some of the best nail services here!  All staff are extremely polite, considerate, takes their time and pays attention to detail, symmetry and satisfaction. Horrible! I've never had such horrible service and my nails are a joke!! Left hand nails are all longer than the right, when I said something to him about he said no my nail bed is longer on that hand?!?! Ummmmm!? What ? No I've never once had that problem. They told me they could do ombre nails I get there and showed him a pic he said no can't do that he said they can only airbrush to make it look like an ombre, but they don't have an airbrush, but their price list clearly s...ays airbrush and how much it is. Also my nails on my right hand are rounded and my left are squared wtf! On top if my nails looking like s**t they were incredibly rude. The place was dirty and dingy!!
