I don't even know where to start. By far the worst experience from a business EVER. I am not one to write a poor review, but this is warranted. I would steer clear of this place. Not professional, dirty, and rude. I am in shock of how poorly I was treated and how awful my nails look. Mariah initially did my nails & they looked terrible...they lifted and chipped after less than 24 hours. She also barely spoke to me. I kept initiating conversation and she still wouldn't speak. I called back a fews days later, after getting back into town and politely called in and asked if someone could fix them...I was the one apologizing because I felt bad asking for someone to repair them...Alejandra was who I spoke to. She didn't apologize once or say they would be happy to fix anything. She just said, “Yea. I will fix them”. I knew I shouldn’t have gone back. When I went in to have my nails repaired, Alejandra was extremely rude to me. She told me she didn't have time to fix my nails how I wanted and she said, "it's up to you if you want to go somewhere else to get them fixed".....what? What employee says that? Then, the owner, Jordyn, called in and asked to talk to me. She explained that they didn't have time to "fix someone else's work". Even though her employee did the work. She was incredibly rude as well. I am so shocked she has a business. She needs some training. I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and I haven’t ever experienced something so awful. Not once did Jordyn OR Alejandra try to make it right. She also told me, "we can't just give you this service again and not charge you". I never said I wanted anything free. I was even happy to pay to have them fixed. I thanked her on the phone and walked out of the salon. I am never coming back here. I give one star because the nail tech who did my nails was very nice. Having said that, I have heard a lot about this place and decided to take my daughter on her birthday there today and what a mistake. We did not get started or finished at the same time, both of our nails cost more than other competitive salons and neither are something I would ever go back for. My daughter was charged more than me for a basic matte polish and a crooked pinky nail. I wanted ombré and got something comparable but not at all the same and two of my nail art stones fell off before I left the parking lot. We were there for 2 hours and I’m just not impressed about the hype over Glitz and regret spending the money when neither of us left happy with our nails and that is sad. I was here for gel nail manicure, and it was done well. That's why the two stars. They charged me $40 and painted my nails. There was no massage, no treatment on hands at all. Just plain polish. It wasn't a manicure at all. One of the girls who work there went up to the pedicure chair, relaxed and started texting in her phone as if she was there for taking service. Did NOT seem professional at all. I'll not return. This is a place for dumb girls who like fake nails, fake lips, fake lashes, fake everything. Read Less

The guy that did my pedi didn't speak any English and pushed my feet hard to tell me he wanted me to move them. He was rough and too quick. He did not use the grater on my heals or other calluses. He used a scrubber sponge like you use for pots. It did not do a good job. That was my first time going there and I definitely wouldn't go back.Read Less

I've been here a few times to get my nails done. I've never walked out disappointed with how they look, however I'll never come back. The last time I was in, the owner did my nails and the entire time I was sitting there she was gossiping with the girl next to her. I think she made eye contact with me twice the entire time I was there. Awful customer service. Aside from her, the rest of the girls ran around all talking crap on one another. EXTREMELY unprofessional. The high school drama vibe, plus the over priced nails, equals one unhappy customer. Jordyn did an excellent job on a new set of acrylic nails. I am not very creative but she suggested using gold foil and they came out beautifully. She was precise with the size and shape of the nails, and was very careful to compare my hands. I will definitely be seeing her again. Side note: one of the worst parts of getting my nails done is always feeling like I have to talk and keep up a conversation (I am terrible at small talk). I get my nails done by Heather and she is always busy but fits me in her schedule even in a hurry. I love the way she does my nails fast and I always get so many compliments! The girls that work the front desk are sweethearts and I would recommend always having an appointment to ensure you can get in and out in a timely manner. No complaints!! Read Less

I have been to Glitz nail salon several times and have not had a complaint until today. When I sat down for my manicure the girl asked what polish I wanted, and I opted for a buff instead (since polish seems to come off so quickly). When she told me I was finished, instead of my nails being smooth and shiny, they were rough and dull, more like sandpaper had been drug over them. When I pointed it out to her, she said they didn't have a tool to buff nails and all she could do was put some polish over them. After leaving, I called to speak with the owner. She called me back shortly to tell me I could come back in to see what could be done to fix them when they opened on Monday, but that there was a no refund policy. I explained to her I didn't want to go back in when I was just told in the store they could only use polish, and I couldn't wait days either. She repeated the no refund policy to me saying there was just a miscommunication between the girl that did my nails and me. I don't see how anyone can think a customer would want to leave the salon with rough and dull nails. Poor service and poor customer service. I will not be back! Read Less

I have been going to Heather at Glitz to get my nails done for about a year now and she is the best. Great gel manicures for a reasonable price. She does really nice nail art and is so friendly. She does her best to make them the best quality so they will last a long time even in all the sports/activities I do. Read Less

Really bad gel manicure.  Only lasted a few days, the gel was so thick the polish came off easily asIf they were press on nails.  I made an appointment with someone who was recommended to me and was confused after she started when I realized this was a different person doing my nails.  It was loud in the salon and she kept saying what and huh?  This salon was unprofessional to the point where someone that worked there was getting her knees waxed in the front.  Back to my nails.  I should have been wearing my glasses but they were awful, gel was all over my cuticles and underneath my nails.  I will not be going back, ever. I scheduled in advance with the same nail tech and was placed instead with two nail techs that I did not choose. I had to wait 15 minutes before my gel nail service, after which I wanted another 45 minutes with my feet in water for my pedicure. What should have been a 2 hour service took 3 hours.
