Friendly staff but my nails turned out HORRIBLE!! The gal that did my nails wasn’t even paying attention to what she was doing. All of my nails are crooked. When I sat down at her station she did nothing but immediately start drilling my nails. She was way to busy telling me about her life which is totally fine but I got burnt many times with her holding the drill in the same place for too long. I can see through the nail polish on my nails so not enough coats. I wanted acrylic nails with coffin shape with maroon polish- matte. Not at all what I got. My nails look like they are between a stelledo and coffin. They aren’t even all the same length nor are the tips the same shape and are way to short. I also feel like I was way overcharged. I’ve been going to Amore and Thao for a couple years now, and I always leave my appointment with beautiful nails and a smile. I’ve worn nails off and on for years and always had bad lifting, but Thao does a great job and I can now go 2+ weeks with little to no lifting. I really like Thao. 🌸 Read Less

I moved from Las Vegas a little over a month ago and have struggled to find a nail salon that I truly love with excellent customer service with quality service. Amore Nails delivered!! Thao did my incredibly cute crayon gel mani and I will absolutely be back to have her do my nails. She was so patient and did not complain about having to do different colors for my crayon-themed nails. Paris did my deluxe pedicure and it was amazing! Easy to get in, staff seems friendly. I was very disappointed in my gel manicure. Every manicure ever received has always include attention to cuticles. Pushing them back and trimming with nail shears. Cuticles received zero attention on this manicure resulting in it not lasting as long or looking as good. Read Less

I just wanted to say thank you to this place cause I called to make an appt and somehow it got mixed up. They fit me in. Fixed my nails I got done at another place who did a bad job and they did not charge me for it. My daughter came with me and they were so nice and made her laugh and have a fun time. it was fantastic, i have been to many nail salons and always left with my nails burning, bleeding, or painful. But not here. I love my nails amanda listened to what i needed and wanted and gave me a fantastic experience! I have thin nails and she didnt over file and my nails are actually lasting! I love this place. I have to say, I was a little surprised by some of the very poor reviews I read. I have always had the best service here. In addition, I appreciate that the technicians talk to me and not to each other while working on my hands and ignoring me. I like that if one of my nails becomes damaged within a few days after my appointment, they have always been more than willing to repair it at no cost. Once, I had a leaf pattern painted on a couple of nails and I wasn't completely happy with the result. After a couple of days I stopped by and they not only fit me in immediately, but redid the design on those nails to my satisfaction at no charge. I work until 6 PM and cannot usually get there before 6:30. On multiple occasions, technicians have been willing to work me in, even at that late hour. This salon does a great job. Every time I have gotten my nails done they were beautiful. They have so many options for colors and designs and basically can do whatever you can think of. They are quite pricey so I don't go often but when I want to splurge this is where I go. Read Less

I thought I would give this place a chance, since it is so close to where I live. I asked to get an acrylic French tip manicure. It took her just 15 minutes to do the full set (she just rushed to get it finished). After paying for the full set, I went home right after to file them all down to make them even and then painted them! Glad I paid $50 just to go home and do them again. I walked in Amore and immediately did not feel welcomed. I felt I was an inconvenience to everyone in there. I had booked a mani and a pedi, and left without the pedi because I was so disappointed. Amore is an awesome place to get your nails done at. They have friendly staff and serious nail skills. They are awesome about getting your nails done exactly the way you want them no matter what. I would recommend this place over and over again. I've had my nails done by 4 different ladies in there and have never had a complaint about my nails. Keep up the great work! Read Less

This was my first time at Amore Nails and Spa and I love it. First off, I booked my appointment on their website last night at 2 A.M. for a 10 A.M. appointment with Jocelyn. I went in and immediately was sat down to start my nails. Amore is extremely clean and very pretty. I was beyond relaxed and comfortable. All the nail tech's were super nice, talkative and funny. They weren't distracted by cell phones, the front door, or the phone. They have tons of acrylic colors to choose from and gel polishes. Jocelyn worked on my nails the WHOLE time. She did better than what I even wanted for my nails. She offered ideas on colors and allowed me to check after one nail to see if I liked it. I will forever and always return to Amore Nails and Spa. Although the actual pedicure wasn't bad, and the girl was nice, it was hard to get past everything else. When I walked in the "receptionist" was on her phone and didn't look up, I waited about 3 minutes before I said "hi, I'm here for my pedicure." She points to the wall (not looking up from her phone) and says pick a color. That was the extent of her communication. I pick and wait, while there was at least 4 employees, none greeted me. Finally I walked up to one who was setting up a foot bath and asked if that was for me. It was. Glad I asked! I had scheduled what their website said was a deluxe pedicure, got a run of the mill quicky one. The receptionist that greeted me eventually came and sat at one of the pedi stations and curled up with a comforter and watched tv. It was awkward. When I went to pay a different girl checked me out and was just as rude. I have no idea how this place is in business. They need to fire those receptionists and have an owner around. Read Less

I'm pissed!!! I sent my fiancé (at the time girlfriend) here to get her nails done since I knew I was going to be popping the question the next day.  Amore totally jacked her nails up and caused us both a lot of stress the day before getting engaged.  She came home totally devastated and embarrassed about how bad her nails looked and because of how bad her overall experience was at Amore.  We will never come here again and I will make sure to warn anyone who asks for a recommendation to steer clear from this place.  #DONTBEPIMPED Read Less

I walk in for a simple French tip acrylic and walked out with a mess! The stylist was very rude, uncaring and unprofessional. The whole place was so dirty and all of the stylists were sitting around talking. I explained to the stylist what I wanted and she did the exact opposite! I had leftover acrylic all over my fingers and my nails were so thick, chunky and short!! I looked down at them in horror and almost started to cry. I did not feel comfortable telling her that I didn't like them because she was already so unfriendly and so were all of the other stylist sitting around me. I was also in a hurry to get to MY birthday dinner! I was so embarrassed by them that I had to hold back tears at my dinner and hide my hands! When I finally got home I ended up filing the nails down to thin them out and just wished they were longer! All of this to say, I would never go back to this nail salon and would not recommend it to anyone! Especially if you have special plans for the evening! Read Less

A friend of mine swears by this place.  I prefer a place in Boise.  Anyway,  she got me to go there finally and the experience was terrible. We showed up on time and they told us we were early by a half hour. We checked and they were wrong and they admitted it.  Then,  we waited for nearly an hour to get just a polish change on my toes and fingers.  No one seemed to know what I wanted even though I explained over and over again. No one could tell me the difference between gel and shilack when I asked. They told me that it was the same thing. However, the same girl that told me they were the same also later told me it was different. Anyway,  I just wanted gel polish on my fingers and toes.  Seems simple enough.. you'd think... after waiting almost an hour past the scheduled appointment time, we finally sit down with someone.  I ask that my finger nails be filled and trimmed to the same length. I like them short, seems easy enough. . Wrong.  She didn't make them even and she used a freaking drill to take my old polish off -- which happened to be gel polish from my favorite place in Boise done over a month before -- this making my nails very thin and weakening my nails to the point they would fold where she didn't shorten them as I had asked! Ugh... anyway,  they got me all painted up with what one girl called shilack and one called gel --who the heck knows -- and it actually looked decent.  I loved the color. So we leave and literally the next day my finger nails are chipping already.  Within the next few days they were pealing off. Now,  if I was a person with no life, no job, ect. I would have taken my disgruntled butt back over there and asked it to be fixed. But, I don't have time for that -- nor should I have to in the first place -- which is why I'll never go back. Amore nomore! My family (a group of 7) went in for pedicures because they had a $20 pedi special. My mother in law called the day before our appointment and the lady was rude while making the appointment.The day of our appointment we showed up and they were bringing us back a few people at a time. Most of my family had cold water (amore's water heater went out), only a few of us had lukewarm water. The lady that did my pedicure was nice but the other ladies were either rude or didn't talk at all. My sister in law had to wait almost 20 mins just for them to heat up water in bowls. Also the lady that was doing her pedi kept telling her she should have rescheduled. The seventh member of my family didn't even get a pedicure because the water heater wasn't turning hot. They informed my grandma that she could reschedule but she would have to pay that day and then come back at a later date. She just cancelled it because the other 6 of us were already done with our pedicures. When we left there were still 10 people waiting and no one was at a pedicure station.I would never recommend this place. Read Less
