My go-to nail place, especially for gel nails. I feel like other salons use harsh methods for gel nail removal and application, but this place is so gentle! They soak my nails in acetone and then gently rub/scrape them off (the old way) instead of immediately using the little machine sander that's really harsh on my nails. Not to mention, everyone here is so incredibly nice. I love chatting with them when I come in, and the space itself has a really great, welcoming energy! The staff pays attention to me and welcomes me and/or checks in with me if they're running late ("we'll be with you in just a minute!") instead of telling me to sit down and wait, and then ignoring me. (They also offer complimentary water while you wait and/or during your service!)I can tell the other people who come here really enjoy it as well. The owner takes the time to find out your name, and they seem to have a good amount of repeat customers because he knows so many people by name! Also, their service is really quick. I've gotten a gel nail removal and then new set in 30 minutes before! I don't have to worry about long wait times or someone moving too slow. They're efficient and detail-oriented. I always know they'll do a great job. Can't recommend this place enough! So so happy to have nail salon I can go to repeatedly, knowing I'll have a great experience (and beautiful nails) every time. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone. The service is professional friendly and you would miss out if you didn't try this salon. I wish i lived morel local as i was a regular customer when i used to live in Barnoldswick. Tony and Sharon are wonderful down to earth friendly, welcoming and professional. I am from Colorado visiting. Came here with my grandmother and we'd both never been to this salon. Let me tell you, their staff is wonderful and they do such a great job! The girls were friendly, efficient, and great at their job. The owners were here as well and just as sweet as can be. My daughter in law has been here dozens of times, I've been there 4 times with relatives for special events. They do an excellent job . They are very accommodating for groups and we always have a good time ! The polish, gel or regular, lasts as long as anywhere else. The manicurists are friendly without being "too much". I called in the morning to book spa pedicures for 3 of us and got an appointment that afternoon. We were greeted immediately and shown to the spa chairs upon selecting our nail color. Amazing quick service! Called at 10am on a Saturday and made an appointment with Kevin for 10:30am that day. The salon is clean, sanitary and cute. Kevin's wife also does eyebrows and she's great! Prices are different than posted inside the salon. The menu board said $5-$10 for a gel polish change but I was charged $18 ($3 to remove polish). And I ended up with polish on my finger tips. Nice, friendly service, but don't trust the menu prices posted. Read Less

My wife brought me here for a pedicure on my rough old feet, it was truly awesome! We now make it a every other week experience. It probably seems odd that I'm in here but I have to say, it is one new luxury I really enjoy. They treat your feet like royalty. My wife if sitting across from me getting a manicure as I type this. I was in desperate need of a pedicure and the salon I normally visit was closed.  I went to Star Nails 20 minutes before closing and asked if it was too late to get a pedicure.  I was taken right away and the nail tech took her time and did a great job!  She even asked if I wanted any decoration on my toes, which would have take MORE time and I'm sure she was ready to leave for the day.I will be going back to Star Nails from now on for all my pedicures! These guys are awesome! I went in with my mom and grandma and we all loved the services. Our pedicures included sugar scrubs, massages, and cute little decorations painted on our big toes. My mom's French manicure is so neat and clean- she's never had a better one. They really take their time here, and also make conversation. Highly recommend! Read Less

We were in from out of town and my friend was getting her haircut next door, so we had time to kill. Kevin and the gal working at the nail salon got me and my daughter and her friend in for pedicures pretty quickly. They were super nice and professional. It was my daughter's 13th bday celebration and her friend and her got special treatment. It was real nice. The salon was quite clean and the nail care tools were clean as well. All around A+.
