I came in for a special I saw for eyelash extensions on craiglist. One of the most affordable places in town, and she responded so fast, got me for a weekend and was so super pleasant  Sam was so down to earth and just the funny casual girl that I am. Mistakes happen, but I am terribly disappointed with my experience with this salon. I ordered a Groupon for a mani-pedi with Bri. I wanted to have the mani-pedi ahead of my vacation, so I made the appointment for the day before I was leaving (and the only day I could do it), but Bri wrote the wrong day down in her planner. It was a simple mistake, but when I didn't show up on the wrong date, no one from the salon ever contacted me, despite taking my phone number when I booked. Since I didn't know that I had "missed" my appointment, I made the trek from Spokane to CdA in heavy rain only to find the salon closed tight. Someone eventually showed up, but I was told that Bri was busy and no one else could step in for her, despite recognizing it was her mistake. I was told that I could be rescheduled for a time *eight hours* in the future, which I refused to accept. To her credit, Bri did work with Groupon to allow me a refund, but it ended up being only Groupon bucks, not actually a refund. Plus, I had to find a last minute place to get in for just a manicure before my trip, costing me even more money. The entire experience was unprofessional. By not calling to check on the missed appointment, it said to me that they didn't believe they could have made a mistake and the problem must be on the customer's end. Studio E'lan is such a wonderful salon. All the girls do an amazing job both with hair and nails and are so nice and welcoming. I have been going to Becky for 5+ years now and I couldn't ask for a better hair stylist. She always does my hair perfectly and gives me fun new ideas to try. I'm having Becky and the girls do my hair and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding, they are the only girls I would trust to make my special day perfect! I have been a client of Studio Elan for over 2 years. I have always received great customer service as well as perfect hair at a fraction of the cost other salons in town charge. My hair is very dark and Rebecca Cerrillo of Studio Elan is the only stylist I've been to yet who gets it right every time. She goes above and beyond for her clientele and actually listens. The owner of this salon was rude and opinionated. She told me I could get my nails painted then did them herself (although lacking experience) meanwhile trash talking "Asian" nail salons. She insulted me calling my nails "horrific" and hair "thin" and pressured me to color my hair then cut it when I simply asked for it to be curled again referencing it's dull color and split ends. Not to mention the style was less than satisfactory. In the end I was charged $40 for my nails being painted by an amateur, a few curls and a terrible experience. Read Less
