Diana (organic color specialist) colored and cut my hair and since then, I've been getting nonstop comments about how beautiful and full it looks! I'll be going back soon to get my bangs touched up; the prices are reasonable and the place is very lovely (Water in wine glasses, people! WOW!). Was very lucky to have found Diane at Embellish after a terrible experience at Lather Salon. She got me in right away and corrected an incredibly brassy and poorly applied balayage before an event I had. Miracle worker. I had a facial and hair coloring. I'm super happy. This place is wonderful. You have to wait to get in because almost everyone is booked up, so being a walk in is hard but the quality is worth the wait. I moved here from another area and I plan to keep coming back. Julie is by far the best masseur of my life and I am proud to be her client. The first handful of visits were only 50 min but this woman rocked my body well over that without charging extra, my body needed it and she wouldn't quit! I started booking 90 min at $85 and she still goes over the allotted time!Julie is magic; whether you need deep tissue, sports massage, dual massage (with another person assisting), pressure point, feet, energy moment through the body and more she is your girl. Not to mention, Sharyn, (1of 2 receptionist) who is outstanding and makes a person feel welcome in under 5 seconds! If you have the pleasure of letting this beauty assist you before and after than you will be in for a treat! Best reception, ever! Finding someone to do your hair is hard, finding someone to do it right is even harder. Had my hair foiled with a partial weave. What I always get done in the past but of course by someone else as I have just moved to the area. Anyhow. thought things were going well until I got home to see that my weave (highlights, bleached strands) were super thick, chunky, not straight, far from my root. I asked the girl if I could come back to have her fix it. Instead of foiling me again in thinner strands and adding a lowlight (like brown) she "painted" my hair all blonde. Now I have bright blonde streaks and yellow streaks (which is where my brown ones were before) and to be honest its terrible. Went home and cried my eyes out, contemplated buying a dye kit from walmart to cover it up. I don't know what Im going to do now. Over a $100 for a bad-bad weave turned bleaching fix to just the top portion of my head, like a skunk! As far as the salon. Nice and clean, but the girls at the desk were chatty kathys and ignored that I walked in until they were done with their conversation. Super disappointed. I was torn on how to rate Embellish. I had a great experience there, but the final product did not turn out how I thought it would. I did a purple nail color and it looked great when it was done, but the next day a white, cloudy look came over the purple. I posted some pictures since it is hard to describe exactly what happened. I don't get my nails done very often, so I'm not if I caused this to happen or if the nail polish has a fault in it or if it was not applied correctly. It seemed to be applied correctly because it all went normal as it has in the past for me. Besides my nails changing I had a great time here! The place is clean and well decorated . The staff was super friendly and easy to talk with during my nail appointment. I had never had the paraffin wax done before and I loved it! I would highly suggest doing the paraffin wax treatment, especially in the winter time. My hands are still soft and look great. In the end I would still recommend Embellish to friends, but if I went back I would ask on how to avoid my nails changing colors. Read Less

I am new to town, here for a few months for a clinical rotation and desperately needed my nails done ASAP.  I looked on Yelp, saw this place had good reviews and gave them a call.  The woman who answered was very helpful, offered to get in touch with a nail technician who was out for a couple of hours and call me back. She called back within a few minutes and they got me in within 35 minutes. Kristin was my nail tech - she was very friendly and skilled and my nails look great.  I got gels and was offered two free touch-ups if needed before my next appointment.  I will definitely be back. I had Ashley cut my hair a few times before I moved out of state. Loved all hair cuts! I've never had really good luck with hair cuts before going to Ashley and now I'm bummed I don't live close! So I went to Embellish to get my hair dyed light purple with some low lights, a haircut, and my brows waxed.  Michele was my stylist.  She did a GREAT job and was totally friendly!!!  The next day I noticed that my color had changed a bit...my hair didn't accept the color very well as pastels are kinda tricky.   All it took was a quick txt and she got me back in today.  She did just as great the 2nd time...fixed me right up!  Such a sweet lady :)  I will definitely go back to her!!  Keep her in mind ;)  As for the salon itself....very friendly staff,  very stylish decor, great music playing....like I said...I will be going back!
