I booked a couples spa package that was featured on their website. Even though I booked it nearly a week in advance and was told accommodations were made for an additional massage therapist to be there, they still cancelled the night before due to "being down a massage therapist and completely booked otherwise." They did offer a 20% discount to reschedule for another time, but after booking it for our Anniversary, and then not having time to find another place, I'm not sure I'm comfortable making a reservation and actually depending on it. I was left in the lurch with no plan or gift. I can't recommend them, but will recommend having a backup reservation for yourself just in case they fall through. **edited to reply** Even 2 days would have been better notice than the night before. I appreciate that things happen, but knowing there was an even bigger window where I could have been alerted and allowed an opportunity to look elsewhere only makes it worse, not better. It seems that if staffing more than 2 therapists for these scenarios isn't possoble, there may need to be other things addressed, or perhaps the service requiring 2 should be removed. The address for the meridian location is online, posted with the phone number for the Boise location. So when my bf called and set up a happy bday color/cut I showed at meridian location only to find out it's not open. Huge waste of time/money/gas/energy dealing with this place. By the time I got back home and figured out how this all happened, they offered to have me come in to Boise location but by that time they could only offer the color OR cut but not both. Seriously?? Staff are very friendly! Dawn gave me the best hair cut I've ever had! I've never gotten so many compliments on a hair cut. Disregarded what I asked for and gave me white zebra stripes instead. Had my hair done tonight and the stylist showed me a sample, I told her I wanted something warmer and she said it would look warmer and the sample didn’t provide the true color (what’s the point of the sample then?). After she finished I told her politely that it wasn’t what I asked for and she said I would get used to it and sent me out the door. $110 later I have ash, grey, and platinum zebra stripes instead of a a warm melt that I asked for. I look 10 years older with my new grey striped hair. I’m calling tomorrow to see if they will fix it and update this review accordingly.... Update: the manager called me back after I left a message and he was very accommodating. He got me in the next day and I saw a new stylist, Tammy, who fixed my hair. She did a great job consulting with me and I appreciated the time she spent with me, making sure we were both on the same page. I did have to pay the difference, but I was fine with that. I'm not in love with the final product, but I think it's because it was difficult to fix the first error. They made it right and we're professional about it. Read Less

I found it very interesting that so many people have left negative reviews about Panache because all of my experiences here have been positive. However, I have gone to the same hair stylist for the past five years and she has yet to fail me! So, I suppose this review is more-so about my specific stylist here than it is the salon as a whole. But with that in mind, I've never experienced any of the issues mentioned in other reviews regarding scheduling, staff, or their front desk employees.Hair: I've been going to Aimee Katsma for the past 5 years, and as I mentioned in the paragraph prior, she has yet to let me down. I have had her give me bangs, cut my hair into a bob, take me blonde, dye my bangs brown and the rest of my hair blonde (sounds crazy, but look at the picture--it was COOL), and do balayage on my hair. Each time she has ever put scissors or color to my hair, I have left giddy and feeling beautiful! (Side note: Aimee is known for being a ninja with blonde hair! A ton of my friends go to her and I've only ever heard positive things about how their hair has turned out. I've also seen her take ethnic hair to platinum. Given, this is a process that takes place over months--but still, she can do it!)Price: (This is where my rating drops 1 star) I will agree with this point in other people's reviews. Panache is a bit on the spendy side. For cut and color, I've spent between $80 and $160, depending on how crazy I'm getting. My recommendation would be that if you have a budget you want to stay within, explicitly state it to your stylist before they start mixing that color!Atmosphere: This salon is super cozy and beautifully kept inside. Great facility and atmosphere! Staff is really nice! Prices are descent for the atmosphere and level of service they provide. I had a massage from Michelle and she did a great job! She asked me about essential oils before we started and used hot towels throughout the massage which was fantastic! My only complaint was that she did not spend very long on my legs but when you only have 60 minutes it's hard to spend very long on most places, I should have booked a 90 minute massage!Read Less

I moved to the Boise area last summer from Ohio, where I had the same trusted stylist for almost 10 years. Finding Panache in Eagle has been a real blessing. The staff is very personable and professional, and the service quality is top notch. Shay took me by surprise! She was excellent at connecting with me and finding out what my ideal haircut would be and how she could reach that today. I had an appointment with Jennifer Herrera, arrived a bit early so the receptionist seated me in a beautiful hushed waiting area and offered me water, coffee or tea. Current fashion magazines were placed on tables about the room and I settled back for a relaxing wait. Jennifer appeared shortly and greeted me warmly guided me through a beautiful salon ( the colors, the lighting, decor) past friendly stylists, and to her space to discuss what I wanted (new color, new style) I showed Jennifer some pictures and we discussed my ideas and then she performed beautiful magic. I made an appointment to get my 1.5 year old son in to get his first haircut, and the moment I walked to the desk to check in he was getting looked at like he was disgusting. I understand if you don't like kids, fine! Whatever. Keep it off your face at work.His stylist was amazing! She was really good with him and quick, but thorough. I tipped her $12 on an $18 haircut, because she worked for it and was kind in the process.I usually go there to get my hair cut, and it's hit or miss. I had my hair done by Julie at the Boise location a few months ago. My appt was originally with a different stylist but they changed it when I arrived. My hair color and cut were decent but her chair side manner was awful. She didn't talk to me at all and acted annoyed and inconvenienced about how long my hair was taking and she told me as much. This is the 2nd time I've gone to Kaitlin at the Boise location, and I absolutely love her! I went into the salon with a hair nightmare and when I left I was the happiest I've ever been with my hair! Kaitlin is the sweetest stylist and the best that I've ever been to, I will never go to anyone else again. I told her that I was going to try on wedding dresses afterward, and she styled my hair perfectly and the entire time was explaining to me what she was doing so I could attempt later! I have had 5 incidents wit this company. Saturday was the worst. I confirmed my appt at my last appt. I than get an email stating my appt is Nov 1 at 9 am. I arrive and m informed I canceled my appt. It take almost 30 minutes or more for me to drive into the salon. My only item I would be is one set out for another 2-3 weeks a I am sorry again. Yet I have to pay full price constantly with no reimbursement. Yet I have to change my schedule and pay for additional fuel for there errors. The five issues I have had was the same. To top it all I had a bad week and just wanted some downtime. I cannot find a hair salon in this valley that actually care for there customers. I purchased a gift certificate for my wife for Christmas. She was thrilled with the gift. They included limousine service in the package I purchased at no charge and treated her like a queen. I did not know anything about spas or what to buy but the staff was very accomodating to help.
