This is a low key, relaxing salon. Kim and her husband are very kind and hard working and excellent at their craft! Some of these negative reviews are due to people asking for extra services: gel, tips, etc. and not reading the price list beforehand. Then, they are surprised by their total bill. Extra services cost more in every salon! Also, if you are having a gel manicure removed let them know so they can schedule a little extra time for you. There were 3 of us that had made appointments. They started off good . Real friendly. Then they started looking at the clock and just kind of rushed us out. Did everything as fast as they could like they were panicking that is was almost closing time. So they didnt do half the stuff they should have. They shouldnt book appointments for that time if they are not going to give you full service. Big dissapointment. Wont go there again. Read Less

So I called right when they opened and made an appointment for a pedicure at 12:30. I am writing this at 1:00 and they just now sat me down to start. When I got here they said they'd get me a chair ready but they never did. It took my friend telling them I had to leave to catch a flight for them to finally start my tub. As of this writing I am still sitting in the foot soak and no one has come to start. I only hope once this starts it's worth it because waiting over 30min when I had a reservation is ridiculous. It's now 1:05 and the guy just came and sat down to start. As I'm writing this, 3, THREE people have since come in and sat down immediately to tubs that were full and ready for them!  NowMaybe their experiences are better or different that mine but I'll say that this is the most half asses pedicure I've ever had. The guy doing it literally just took the scouring pad and brushed my feet. So far I'm still not impressed. I am now having my feet grated with an honest to god cheese grater!! I have this in my house, not even joking.  Kind of feel like a piece of cheeseI'll now move on to the massage portion of this. I will give this an A because it did feel good, not too much pressure and actually quite a nice massage. Lastly the polish. This I can appreciate, they put my flip flops on first. This is nice because I always ruin my pedicure when I put my sandals on.When I started this review, it was a one star review, but as the pedicure went on it got up to three stars. The only reason I am giving them three stars and not more is because my pedicure started a half an hour late, and I only got a 30 minute pedicure versus an hour. Aside from being clean and comfortable and employees were nice, I was not impressed with the time spent on my feet compared to other places I've been in the area. The nail polish job was fair, but hardly anytime was spent with massage or on my heels etc... The guy working on my feet was nice but too timid and didn't help with my toenails and cut the big toes so that the corners hurt so bad I had to give myself another trim and file job to wear my shoes again. Bad experience with my friend she went and had her nails done. They were different lengths and the Polish was supposed to be dry but when she went to zip her coat up it just smeared. Not a place I would recommend.Read Less

My sister invited her close friends and family to have bridal pedis at Kim Nails.  This was my first visit to this salon, and considering there were 6 of us getting our nails done pretty much all at the same time, the staff and technicians did a very nice job with the pedis and getting us done in just a few hours.  I found the stations to be clean and the tools looked to be sanitized and sealed.  Of course, I always like having a massage chair when getting a pedi.  Jonathan, the young man who worked on my feet did an exceptional job and he was friendly and personable.  The cost was $25 per pedi. There are just two little suggestions that keep me from giving them 5 stars.  One, I think having 6 pedis booked for a bridal party, a small discount might have been in order or a complementary glass of wine.  Second, after our nails were done, we waited about 15 minutes in the chairs with no instructions.  After a while, we took out our toe dividers and went to pay.  While were were at the cashier, one technician belatedly caught us and sprayed our toes with what should have been a drying or polish setting spray.
