Took my best friend and my daughter here for a girls spa day after hearing good things. I called the day before and even with limited availability they worked to get us in, and to accommodate a time change the day of. We arrived early and were able begin our appointments right away, two gel pedicures and a princess pedi for my 10 yr old. All of the gals were informative and personable. If I could rate zero, I would. Horrible customer service. Save your time and money and do not go here. I scheduled a gel mani/pedi for 2. The nail techs were rude and impatient. At one time they rolled their eyes at us and seemed annoyed that they had to help us. There are plenty of other nail salons I would gladly go to. I will never go here, ever again. Read Less

Where do I begin. I've been debating between 1 and 2 stars and decided to do 2 to give them a little credit. I noticed Coco Nail Bar as I was driving down Overland road and then decided to read some reviews and for the most part the reviews were okay.I ended up walking in and was very impressed with the location and look of the salon. The salon appeared very clean which is a must for me. What I wasn't impressed with was seeing the guy that worked at the nail salon down the street by Subway. He once treated my friends and I so badly, we walked out and vowed to never go back to that place and we haven't to this day. Although he was still there, I still decided to give Coco a try since I was already there.I decided to get a gel pedicure and gel manicure. While I was getting my pedicure, another lady walked over to do my manicure. I explained I didn't want the drill used on my nails because I have super fragile nails but she didn't understand me. I had to keep telling her until another nail tech decided to translate to her what I was saying, at which point they both started laughing. This seems to have upset or offended them and all went downhill from there.When I was checking out, that guy I talked about in the above paragraph was trying to push me to use cash. I didn't have any cash and insisted on my debit since it clearly states they take visa. He told me in the future there would be a charge to use visa. He then gave me a coco nail bar punch card but only gave me enough points for a $30 manicure. When I asked him why I didn't get points for the pedicure, he told me they would show up later...insert eye roll here. I am not dumb and I watched you put in $30. I wanted to get out of there and didn't feel like arguing with stupid.Needless to say, my gel manicure chipped instantly the following day. I wanted to give them one more try and see how they would handle a request to fix. I called and talked to the same guy again and he told me to come in to have them take a look but that there would be a charge. Yeah, no thank you. Never spending another penny at your location or any location you own. Overall, I think this will be a bad establishment until the guy that works there takes some lessons on manners and stops lying to customers and makes his employees take some English lessons. Scheduling was easy - the gal who answered the phone asked if I was looking for morning or afternoon and found me an available time slot for the mani-pedi I wanted. The place is clean and has a contemporary vibe - and a parking lot (hooray!). I had Alicia for both my signature pedicure and gel manicure - she was awesome! She greeted me, let me know she was going to get the water started and directed me to select my nail polish. I didn't feel rushed at all, even when the place started to get busy. Alicia checked with me throughout to make sure the water temperature wasn't too hot, the towels weren't too hot, etc. I definitely felt pampered and relaxed the whole time. And my nails look amazing! Super cute and clean - made an appointment for a pedicure, but ended up waiting almost an hour before anyone even started. The girls were chatty and friendly once they actually got started. Unfortunately I won't be going back - all my nails are crooked, some longer than others, some got filed at an angle (??) and others straight across - just kind of a careless job, plus I wasn't even asked how I wanted them cut. The massage was just alright, there was no pressure to it at all, and again I wasn't asked about that either. For the amount of money I paid and being there for 2 hours I would expect a 'perfect pedicure' and it didn't even come close to that. I'm visiting from out of town and a friend recommended Coco's. I had a terrible acrylic nail job done when I decided to try a new location at home. I didn't have time to have it fixed and now it was time for a fill. I love this place! I had a blast with the staff! My daughter and I both had pedis with French tips. My daughter had a mani with regular polish. They fixed the squished jelly bean nails and made them perfect! Topped them off with gel polish and I walked out one happy little girl! If I didn't live so far away this would be my regular nail salon! They work as a team and best of all I wasn't rushed! They didn't cut corners just to churn you out to get to the next customer.
