I just had a microblading procedure done on my eyebrows by Gina at Beau Monde Spa on Cole this morning. What an excellent experience! Gina thoroughly explained the procedure, what to expect during the healing process and how to properly care for the treated area afterwards. She showed me the tools she would use and had a thorough contract that was clear and easy to understand. The treatment room was extremely clean and sanitary. We discussed the problems in my brows (thinning from over plucking and a bald spot from a scar) and made a plan together to create a natural look. Gina took the time to give me a variety of color options and asked me my opinion every step of the way. I have spent years struggling with cosmetics to obtain fullness and symmetry in my brows, and was never happy with any of the products I tried. I really wanted to like this place. however the hair dresser I used was not great. in fact she probably gives a bad reputation to other stylist at this spa because of how I have to rate her. Daughter had grow out from highlights ...pretty common blonde highlights. first try color was orange and she sent her home crying. Called in and got her to redo it...well it was worse. she literally just died the grow out blonde. My other daughter when in and her roots were not even colored for an all over color. Once again looking for a good spray tan tech.....got in quickly ran out to the salon which is quite a jaunt from my home but I'll go a distance for quality. The tech greeted me the salon was closed at the time was truly great full for the tech getting me in....salon is clean and the spray tanning area is a shower....no ventilation or tent or fan.....cramped...the tech is gorgeous and i felt uncomfortable she said she sees all kinds I joked and tried to not be embarrassed....the room was super cramped and the spray was a little overwhelming....the tech had a new set up with laser lights but the shower was so small I don't think there is enough room for her to properly get good coverage....I went home and I did notice noticeable missed areas......top of my hands inner thighs.....calf areas. But it wasnt super horrible and I would go back again the tech text me the next day I told her the areas of concern she offered a comp tan and was very apologetic and that was super sweet....but its far from my house and I since have tried another salon closer and I am happy... Paid 110.00 for a mani pedi. Left the salon and messaged asking if that was to include a massage (you know legs and forearms) they said yes. Then I explained that I received a basic service versus the one I was charged for. She then said that they can't massage (really like a rub with lotion???) pregnant people because it can induce labor-BS. The tech (nice gal) stated multiple times that she frequently massages pregnant clients and that is why I clarified with management wha...t services were included. I asked why I was sold to the "ultimate" when I am visibly pregnant! 110.00!!!!!!! Over priced and dishonest about services provided. Sold a pregnant person a mani/pedi with a "massage" charged full price on ultimate service and provided a very basic service. Management is inappropriate and disregards customer service completely. I've been getting my nails done for almost a year now by Sam. She is amazing!!! Not only is she an amazing nail tech, she's beautiful, tasteful, and trendy. Has any color you could imagine. Can bring to life any design you could think of. I'm very particular with my nails, and she is by far the best in Boise. Went in to get my hilights touched up and left with bright orange roots. And the stylists thought this was acceptable to have me leave like that. There was a blonde doing hair in the chair next to me who sent out a client with pretty hilights, but I wasn't so lucky. Also a lot of the staff looks a little "rough around the edges" I wouldn't recommend this place, I had to go elsewhere to get my hilights fixed the next day. It was a disaster. Read Less

I love that I can make an appointment using schedulicity. There is nothing I hate more than asking,"well do you have an opening on this day? How about this day?"
