I got a pedicure and my girlfriend got a pedicure and manicure.  The guy that did my pedicure was watching tv while clipping my nails.  He cut my nail too far in at an angle and left my nails sharp and edgy.  My girlfriends fingernails were also sharp and edgy, uneven, and wasn't filed.  She also cut her cuticles too much and her pinky nail bled a little.  They need to hire people with skills and people that actually care about working on people. These pictures speak for themselves!  Yes the price is good but for a reason.  They are very inconsistent, all depends on who you get and not necessarily the time for we went at 7pm and it was empty.  We have been here a couple of times before and never had this experience.  They had an hour and still took about 5 minutes to do my daughter's brows.  I took my daughter back in when I saw that bald spot.  The lady that did it had an attitude saying that my daughter said it was nice.  I told her that she couldn't see it from all angles and plus she's only 16.  I just wanted the lady to see what a lousy job she did.  Most of the workers came to look at it and had nothing to say.  The lady said that she would fix it with no charge.  Really!  No Charge!  And why would I trust that lady again.  The cashier actually agreed that it wasn't done good and that they would have another person do it to fix it up.  I wasn't about to put my daughter through that and will never return here because I would rather pay more to know that I would be getting quality service instead of gambling with my money. I only been here once and  I'll  probably won't ever go back. I got the spa pedicure which felt like it was rushed and it wasn't even busy. Usually on average other salons take about 30mins to do a spa pedicure. My pedicure took 15min. I did a brow wax right after and after taking a close look at my brows there was WAX all on top of my brows. Clumps of wax stuck on top my brows!! I had to use makeup remover to scrub it off. This is the first time I experienced that. Also my daughter did a child mani and pedi and the next day her pedicure all peeled off. Again this is the first time we had this problem. One star because there was no wait time lol.Started me off with one worker , then customers they knew walked in and I got traded off to another worker. They didn't tell me what was happening they just picked up my stuff and took it to another work station/table. Didn't bother me as long as my nails were being done.I had acrylic nails and wanted them removed.1st person ripped one of my natural nails trying to take them off. 2nd person did a quick and messy job with my gel manicure (got the polish stuck from my nail to skin on multiple fingers). This was the worst pedicure and refill I have ever gotten. The man was rough and just didn't do a good job at all. He was not gentle at all when doing my pedicure. Almost cut a piece of skin off of my toe! I had to tell him stop that's my skin! Would not go back unless I ask for a different person. They didn't ask us which pedicure we wanted. Just PT us in a chair and did a ten minute pedicure while the people next to us got hot stones and masks. We got polish and a minute massage, maybe? We got gel polish. It's super spotty and was rushed. Manicure was just him putting on polish. I asked for white and he did two coats (you could still see through my nails it was so light and he was about to put on the top coat and I stopped him asking for more coats. Now it's just bubbly, has a black spot on one nail, and it doesn't go all the way around my nails. It doesn't reach the cuticles or edges of my nails. It's also gel. And that was accompanied by a thirty second massage. It was $70 for this crap. They don't take tips on cards, I've never not left a tip in my life, but that was so bad that I didn't feel bad. I didn't even look for an ATM, which I usually would have. And it was my birthday too :( Sad part it I pay very good money for my nails, I usually get the works. Most expensive manicure and pedicure. Horrible salon. First salon I've been to since moving here and it's pretty bad. I went in for a pedicure and eyebrow wax w a friend who recommended the place. We waited w our feet soaking for almost 30 minutes before someone started working on our feet. They didn't even do them at the same time, I was started first and my friend about 20 mins after me, which made our finishing time off. The paint looks horrible. I got white on my toes and you can see the paint overlapping and separation pretty bad. I started laughing when getting my foot scrubbed and the guy got mad and stopped scrubbing my feet. When I got my eyebrows done I told the lady before hand that my eyebrows were microbladed and just needed them cleaned up. She took half my eyebrow off on the left side and you and very clearly see the tattoo left behind w no hair. It took me forever to grow out my eyebrows and now I'm back to square one due to half my eyebrow being off. The waxing room was super dirty as well. And they store chemicals in the bathroom. Went to Queens nails to get a mani pedi, because Safeway had a 15% off coupon. Should've known better! Been there before like 5 years ago n didn't care for the service but thought I would give them another try...big mistake! First of all, the massaging chair didn't work . Then my manicurist , Tammy did a poor job in painting my toenails I had to point out the spots that she missed. And the massage was so fast I think she did my toenails in less than 10 minutes. Then when she tried to do my hands she uses this gravel like nail file to file my nails and she kept twisting my thumb which was very uncomfortable and I kept telling her that she was hurting me. She continued to twist my thumb to file it and I just stood up and told them, that's OK I'll just pay for my pedicure. I will never go there again!! Read Less

What's up with all the bad reviews? So I went here on Monday morning around 10:30 to wait for my new tires at sams club. I got the deluxe pedicure about $35. I'm 9 months pregnant and i had a good experience.  I've been here a long time ago and they always do a decent job.  The older male who was my nail tech spent a good time massaging me (quite hard too) and it really felt good.  They always give the best massages! I didn't get a mani here but I'm pretty picky about my mania in general and mostly prefer to do them myself. But since I can't reach my toes right now, I decided to treat myself to a pedicure.I noticed lots of negative comments are from people who are in a rush or come during busy hours. I'm sorry for your bad experience but maybe you should also keep in mind type of day and maybe allow yourself more time. As for the bad manicure experiences you should speak up!!!!! It's your nails and your money, don't just sit there and complain on yelp later, say something if you don't want them to do it! I only took away one star because they didn't offer tips for your card. Queen Nails LLC was a godsend.I had read the reviews of Queen Nails LLC beforehand and I truly lived up to their reputation. My feet was put into actual metal bowls/basins with aromatherapy.I was satisfied with the courtesy of the staff.This is such a beautiful salon and you couldn't beat their prices!The staffs strongly peoples, but not rough. If yelp had the option to rate 0 I would give this salon no stars. Me and my bf walked in for a pedi @ 7pm and we got the deluxe pedi which was so terrible I can't believe I wasted my money on this! Even the massage didn't go great! I had an older guy who did my pedicure. First off I had gel so I told him they needed to be soaked off and he said yes but he just drilled it all off and it was burning from the heat of the drill and I told him to stop politely and he kept going. He also cut down so short when I've asked to just file and he did not file my nails at alll just cut and buff and also didn't cut my cuticles he just pushed them back also for the sugar scrub that I paid extra for wasnt worth the extra money at all he slappped that scrub on and washed it right off!! When it was time for my toes to be polished I asked him to file my nails and shape them and also to cut the cuticles and again he said yes but again did the opposite! He applied base coat and 1 COAT of polish and NO TOP COAT and rushed through the whole thing! My polish on my toes isn't a clean paint and all the polish looks shriveled. He was rushing through the whole thing and right after he was done and I gave a tip he ran out the door and ran to the car and left. His face looked mad the whole time giving me a pedi. I'll also like to say that I'm Vietnamese and I understood everything he had said about me while doing my feet. I'm sorry I don't mean to talk bad but this was a bad experience and I wouldn't want anyone to ever go through what I had to go through. I even told the manager in the front that he should talk to his workers and let them know that this was not a full service pedicure for me and bf and that his workers shouldn't be talking smack at all and all the manager said to me was "ok , ok yeah I know". I have been coming here for years. At first they were great and I would always highly recommend them. They have been slowly getting worse and worse recently. I went there for a mani/pedi. Pedi was the most rushed experience I've ever had. It was 10 minutes long. Then my mani was even more rushed. And the quality of this time around sucks. I tried to tell the guy that there was a hair in my nail and he kept cutting me off and just painted over it. The paint job looks like my 3 year old nephew did it. Paint all over my fingers and toes. I've been looking for Queen Nails LLC since we moved to Pearl City. I absolutely love every visit to Queen Nails LLC. They were softly spoken and made sure I had a drink in my hand at all times. All of the ladies did so pretty on the toes when I have gotten pedi's. They got me at the last minute and made me feel so welcome and special. After somewhat religiously getting pedicures on the mainland before moving to Hawaii; I was looking for a place to be my regular go to. Few of my co-workers recommended this salon because of the price and service they had received in the past. Decided to give it a try one day while we were in the area shopping. Wasn't that active on yelp and honestly probably wouldn't have gone if I would have looked at the reviews.Called before hand to see if they could get myself and my husband in for a deluxe pedicure without having to wait to long. The staff member on the phone said to come over right now as they may get busy; so we headed their statement drove right over. Only 2 other customers in the business when we arrived so the statement was more of a gimmick to get us in the business.We were seated immediately and the two techs started filling up the water and adding in a blue tab; not sure what it was but it landed right on the top of my left foot and started to burn. I moved my foot around to get the tab to fall and the burning to stop. Everything was going fine and no complaints. Felt that the service we were getting was appropriate for the price we paid. It wasn't until the next day that I knew something was wrong. The side of my big toe on the foot that the blue tab was sitting on was swollen, red, and hot to the touch. All signs of an infection. Went through out the day zip lining at Kualoa Ranch with a toe that was painful and driving me nuts. Finally after getting home I had to pop the side of my toe and greenish yellow pus came out of it. Some may say the infection was caused by something else however after getting the pedicure done went straight home, showered, and went to bed. Didn't go to the beach or a pool.Needless to say we will not be going back or recommending this business. I've gone to Queen Nails LLC several times and absolute love this place! The nail staff was very sweet and kept checking on me to make sure I was okay even though it definitely was not the salon's fault. I like coming here because of the ambience, how clean it is and their customer service is great. They take appointments and on the whole keep to them. This was my first time visiting Queen Nails in Pearl City. I was pleasantly greeted at the front by them. They quickly offered my cold bottle of water and asked me to take a seat while waiting for my turn. I did not have an appointment and only had to wait about 10 minutes. I was looking for a place to get my nails done around somewhere I was going to an appointment. I found Queen Nails in Pearl City and it had great ratings so I thought I would try it out. The staffs here are extraordinary. Most importantly, this place is pretty clean. This place has very nice black leather massage chairs. Good service, friendly people, clean, decent pricing, perfect location, lots of parking in shopping center, and works well with younger aged girls who want to get pampered with their mommy! I wish I read the reviews before I came here and got my nails done. THE worst gel polish job ever!! Such an amatuer job, my daughter can do better.  I swear the other nail tech came over and was looking at it and was giving her pointers. Needed a mani/pedi badly and noticed on the back of Safeway receipt there is %15 discount on combo service. There was no wait when I got there, got a pedi done first and had to ask the lady to get out my ingrown toe nails. (I was disappointed that I had to ask, after all they have their licenses in nails shouldn't they be able to noticed these things)? Then I got a mani with gel. At other salons the gels last about 3 weeks however this salon the gel didn't even last a week. 6 days and the gel was lifting :( Gel is already pricey so I expect it to be good! Parking is okay if you go during daytime hours, after work hours or weekends is busy since it's in the same lot as the movie theater and across from Buffalo Wild Wings! I wish I had nicer things to say about this salon, but they defiantly need to work on their customer service.  I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all.  I told the lady that greeted me that I didn't have much time and wanted to get my manicure and pedicure done at the same time.  She told me to pick out a color and motioned towards a man that would assist me.  He started my pedicure and I told him the same thing that I needed to be out as soon as possible and wanted to get a manicure at the same time.  He told me that he would do the manicure too.  I began to get frustrated.  It's like they were not really listening to my request.  So I mentioned it again and he told me that there wasn't enough room because the chairs were so close together.  They had three other nail technicians just sitting there doing nothing.  I do agree that there wasn't much room, but all I kept thinking was why would you have your shop set up like that.  You should be taking care of as many customers as you can to make more money.  This is the first nail salon I have been too where you couldn't do a manicure and a pedicure at the same time.  I wish he would have told me that before he started, but now my feet were soaking and he had already started.  I was basically committed.  My nail tech wasn't friendly at all and kept critiquing my nails and made a couple of rude comments as well.  He made like I was such a diva because I wanted everything done at the same time.  He convinced me to get a gel manicure which was done poorly.  It hasn't even been a week and the paint is already chipping off.  Normally when I get a gel manicure it lasts at least two weeks before it needs a touch up.  I do not recommend this nail salon and can see why they have a lower rating than most.  It was my first and last time here. Got a gel manicure yesterday. It was done by an older man who shook like hell trying to paint the polish on. On top of that he only buffed my nails, and filed really fast and that's all. Didn't even push my cuticles back or make sure there wasn't any debris on my nails, or shape them.Everything felt so rushed. And the ladies kept on trying to get me to get a pedicure. Like no lady I didn't say I wanted that. The man got polish on my cuticles and missed the very edges of my nails, I also have bulges of gel on some fingers.I probably could do a better job than that and pay MYSELF $30. To be completely honest, the service was fine and the guy who did my pedicure was fine. I feel bad for giving this establishment 1-star, but I wouldn't return here again, even if someone paid for me, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, even if someone asked where they could get a cheap mani/pedi. There's just nothing special or noteworthy about the place.1. Crowded: they have a lot of chairs, a lot of tables, a lot of workers. I guess that's a good thing if you need to walk-in. 2. My "deluxe" pedi took like 10 minutes all in all. Massage was short. The guy did okay on the paint job. You get what you pay for. Came in today for a pedicure after about 2 months I've been waiting to get one and it was the worst pedi I've gotten Sux cause I waited so long and they was full of crap straight up!Walked in and said I want a delux pediSo the put me in a chair and a diff lady gets to work1.felt like a feather on my message no pressure at all!!! Sucked!2.she barley trimmed my cutticles 3.their chair was full of sh*t4.scrubbing my foot took her about 1 second! Had to tell her to scrub again!And the best part I see she starting to put polish on and I'm like ok is this the delux? She like no its regular So I told her I wanted delux and then another lady gets involved and says u never said that so I pointed to the lady I told and said ya I told her I wanted delux And I said is it to late to make it delux she's like yes so now my face expression is like so mad! Had it not been for the friendly people, excellent communication skills and happy faces, I probably wouldn't have added the extra star.Although their service was just a little short of exceptional, it did not quiet reach that level.The quality of work that was done, was very poor. They went through the process way too quickly, and was not mindful of the physical feeling of the client (me).The way they filed my nails, were as if they were sanding down rough edges of a new placed counter top. Cutting my nails, I felt like I could feel the same way a dog does when getting their nails cut. And the gel work was very poor.I went to do my nails the day before I had went on vacation, and not even 3 days later, the gel started to crack and peel. Also, I asked to have rhinestones put on my ring finger in a STRAIGHT line, but the line did not stay that way. Just hours after leaving the salon, the rhinestones started to shift. Being that I was one of their last customers for the day, I could not go back to have them fixed and was forced to go on my vacation with a crooked rhinestone line. Getting my nails done at queen nails was a great experience! Walked right in and they took me. This place has so much seats and people working that there were barely people waiting in line!! I went in to get an acrylic set which I think I only got for $40! Very cheap compared to other nail places. Customer service was great although I wish my nail lady spoke to me more! I like getting comfortable with people especially if they're working on me! Although, she followed my directions very thoroughly and I left very satisfied with her work :) I didn't even get her name! Today I went to Queen's Nails despite reading all the negative reviews. I called ahead and Lena told me to come right over. She removed my worn nails and prepped me for a new set. Lena paid attention to the details. After putting on my tips, Lena sends me to Tammy to finish the work. Tammy was friendly and polite. The service received by both ladies was awesome. I really didn't see all the negativity that I read in previous posts. They were on their phone but only for s newest second I received 4 star service today. This is definitely my favorite place to get my nails done. I always get gel for mani, and regular for pedi, and they last more than 3 weeks. Aside from the great quality of the products they use, the service is also excellent. Also, throughout the process, the ladies would make small talks with me. The ladies here are awesome - they know their colors, meticulous but still super fast and they do a damn good job. My gel nails always last longer when I get them done here than anywhere else and they have one of the largest collection of gel nail colors around. They have a ton of regular customers and can always fit walk-ins, just be patient. You can't go wrong with anyone else if either of them are busy. Read Less

This place is the best! I have the unlimited gel color to choose from. I go at least every two weeks..sometimes even more frequently to have my gel redone.
