If you ever wonder how much it costs to get a mani/pedi from someone who takes a nail file and violently files your skin until it burns - it's $65 here.Where shall I begin?First, I called ahead and made an appointment for two pedicures and one pedicure/gel manicure for 11am. At about 1040, we realized we were running a little late, so I called back to let them know we were running about 15 minutes behind and ask if it was still OK to come in or if they needed to push our appointment back. The lady who answered said it wasn't a problem and she would see us at 1115. Apparently it was a problem, since we walked in at 1105 and she started complaining to her coworkers that we had an 11am appointment, but we were late, then began treating us as if we had inconvenienced her. Strike one. After we chose our nail polish from their vast selection of glitter polishes and metallics (can you sense my sarcasm), the three of us were sat in the pedicure chairs. We all chose the same number pedicure, yet I was somehow the only one out of the three of us that didn't get soap in my water so I was basically just chilln' in a tub of cold water. The guy that did my pedicure also attacked my feet so aggressively that I literally have indentations on my nail beds where the polish settled around, creating these grooves in the polish that look like I banged my feet against something while the polish was still wet. Strike two.Once my water soak and foot assault was complete, he took me to his nail station to begin with my "gel manicure". I use that term loosely because, after getting gel manicures for the last ten years of my life, I'm still not sure what that was. In order to take my previous gel off, he violently filed the top of my nail until my skin burned and I physically couldn't take it anymore. You would think me pulling my hand away and saying "ouch, that hurts" would signal him to go in with a lighter hand. Nope. He then had me soak MY ENTIRE HAND in acetone to loosen up whatever he didn't burn off with his file earlier. I swear, each nail is a different shape and a different size, I have dried gel under my tips that is sticking to my skin, and the polish on the tips of my nails is already fading (a whopping 6 hours after my manicure) because he filed them down AFTER he painted & dried them. Strike three, four, five, six and seven.Saying this was the worst mani/pedi of my life is an understatement. It's to the point that I'm seriously reconsidering a 20 year friendship with my girlfriend who suggested this God awful place. Read Less
