I.took my daughter in there to do her nails and she is about 12 years old. Very disappointed in the way her nails.were done. One hand was shiny nails and the other hand was left with dull nails. Thank you Garden Nails for your fast, awesome service. I was at L&L, which is like two doors down from this place & realized I needed an eyebrow wax. I was too tired to drive to the mall where I usually get it done at. One of the employees walked out, probably to take her 15 minute break and I stopped her to ask if they do eye brow waxing, instead of asking me to wait, she fixed me up that instant. Horrible experience, especially for visiting the island of Hawaii. Prior to going in I had asked if they were able to repair 1 nail as well as a pedicure. Showed one of the workers my finger nails to show that I at least needed that 1 nail to somewhat look similar to my other nails. Of course, they nodded and said it could be done. After the pedicure, I sat down to repair that one nail and the worker then says "we can't match it, you have to do ALL your nails".  I questioned as to why they would tell me they could do it, then all of a sudden said that they couldn't and the tech proceeded to say "no, you have to do ALL nails". It just didnt make sense. Wish they would have been honest from the start, I would have gone to another place that was able to repair that 1 nail. There was also a few of us that got a pedicure, when asking for a certain package they forcefully pushed for the highest package. When we refused, they started talking in their language amongst themselves, which was obviously negative. This may seem dramatic, but hopefully this will put a heads up for the workers to be honest from when you walk in (instead of saying "yes, we can fix your nail and match it) and give better service to future customers. This is my favorite place to get my monthly pedicure. The staff is wonderful, and always friendly. They do a really good job. They have a great selection of different colors of nail polish, and offer other services such as manicures and waxing. I also get my eyebrows done here, and they have always done a stellar job. It is a small family owned establishment, with the husband and wife always being on site. Having them there assures me that service will always be consistent and good quality. Parking is very easy right there in the shopping area, and you can always go to one of the neighboring establishments for a quick meal before or after. Read Less

Just moved the area & thought I'd give this salon a try, being so close to my new home.  I was happy that I got seated right away for a mani/pedi. The guy was friendly but sloppy, which I'm a perfectionist & cannot stand. The salon is dirty & the polish choices were slim.  They are extremely over priced- $40 for a gel manicure?! Nice, clean and quick salon. I love pedicures, but the past year I've taken up running and developed a really weird black toenail. I've been super embarrassed about it and have not gotten a pedicure because of it. My coworker had a party to go to and asked me if I wanted to get a pedi with her. I said yes and apologized profusely and in advance to my pedicurist. She was nice and read me well. She looked at my toenail and didn't even flinch, she said it was normal and went on her way. She read me really well and didn't really chat me up. I prefer to relax and almost fall asleep in the chair rather than chit chat. The service was great for a good price. They were constantly cleaning their supplies, I really liked that. They didn't try to upsell me on services I didn't need. My co worker finished earlier than I did, and put our names in. This place gets rather busy so appointments are probably a good idea. Good, solid place for pedis. Will definitely return. Read Less

It was definitely time to get a manicure so I decided to visit Garden Nails in Kapolei. Been there many times and I am always pleased with their service. Signed in and waited about 20 min or so.. which gave me ample time to select what color I wanted. Today my nail tech was Kevin who I just met & he says he's been there about a month now. Service was okay, although I thought that he skipped some steps throughout the manicure. I'm probably going to make an appointment with another tech on my next visit. I originally was going to go to Tiffany nails, no lie. But as usual, it was full with a 45 min wait... so I figured I would go across the street and see if Garden Nails was open. I was able to immediately sit down and start getting my nails done. I did a gel polish manicure and a deluxe pedicure. During my manicure, she took great care and time on making sure my nails were good to go. She took the time to get rid of the imperfections and make them perfect. During my pedicure, my girl took time and massaged my legs better than I ever get when there is a waiting line. It's nice to feel pampered and not rushed. I'll definitely coming back here again. If you want your eyebrows done in a safe & professional manner....DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went to do my eyebrows the other day and figured I would try this place out....probably the worst decision of my life!  First off the wax temperature was hotter than i'm used to but I just decided to suck it up.  I told her I didn't need her to shape them but to just wax the stray hairs.  When she was done, my eyebrows were sooooo thin and my eyelids were extremely red.  I wasn't happy but I paid for it and gave a tip.  When I got home and showered, my eyes were in so much pain because it felt as if she had burnt off 10 layers of skin!!!!....Fast forward 3 days later, i'm scabbing!  Fuck this place.  DO NOT DO YOUR EYEBROWS HERE!!!!!! My every request was denied. Can someone explain to me how these people are still in business? She left me covered in the dust from filing 8 out of my 10 nails to go wax someone. Told me "no I can't do that" to almost everything I asked her to do, every color choice, asked her to shape more, file a little underneath, make a little shorter. I used to come here years ago and regularly received acrylic nails. As I work in town now, I stopped coming. Wow! So glad I came back. I forgot how professional, quick and efficient Eric and Tammy are as business owners and technicians. Everyone there seemed to make sure that their clients were comfortable.  Being gentle with the older folks and pampering the girls and guys. Glad to be back. This has always been my go to for pedicure / manicure. Never had any type of problems and always able to get in. They may not be as fancy as cosmic etc but after trying other places here and there because it was closer at the time etc and being dissatisfied everytime, i will stick to garden nails. Came here with my homegirl to get a pedicure she literally sat in the chair for 20 minutes with no water and is still sitting with her right now I'm texting lol not funny at all REALLY WTF!!! I look at the menu together right before your pedicure which was 40 plus 5 for callus remover and that somehow ended up 7.00...... could not understand why I'm so frustrated I just didn't care anymore.  This lady removed my polish from both feet, cut my nails and my homegirls feet STILL DRY!! Never a wait and the lady that does my Gel Pedi is wonderful! I didn't get the nail techs name, and I have gone to her several times, but shes in the pics. Everything I  come here I request Ivy. She has a nice personality. She is always fast with my mani and pedi. I have had other people here and they usually hurt me a bit. They are rough so I recommend Ivy. If you have any feet or hand issues. I have had surgery on both feet and she is gentle. But also gets rid of dead skin on my feet.  Ivy gets five stars. The rest of the shop 3. They aren't the friendliest.  But the shop is very  clean. And has  a lot of stations. Get there early and you don't have  wait. Read Less

I came here today for a spa pedicure and was lucky  enough to have beat the rush since many patrons were leaving upon entrance. I had a younger nail tech and she did okay being that I stick to basics. However, I could tell she had little experience because she seemed a bit nervous and was moving quite slowly on my cuticles. I went to Garden Nails with a friend to get pedicures.  We were quickly seated next to each other, soaking our feet and enjoying our massage chairs. The ladies at Garden Nails work quickly, there is lotion and oil and exfoliating gel, and big toe art, then a quick chair change for a tiny fan to dry your toes.
