2/16: I called when they opened, and no one answered. I called again, and again, and even texted the number listed for texts on their site, but no one answered or responded. Thinking their phones were down, I decided to drive out there. When I walked in, an hour after they opened, an older lady asked if I had an appointment. When I told her I tried to call and make one, but no one had answered, they said "that's because the person who answers the phone isn't here." Then they said the person who does fills isn't there, either. So, I left. They *may* do great nails but since they're unavailable to new customers, I guess I'll never know. Headed to another spot and hopefully, I'll find a new nail tech to be my regular go-to.Update 2/17 in response to their erroneous reply below:AFTER walking in, (an hour after the salon opened and after calling numerous times and texting without ANY reply) I posted the Yelp review and THEN was texted back by someone saying the phone lines must be down (they weren't) and then sent more texts about what services I wanted when I clearly said I was going somewhere else. There was no "last minute" call or walk-in and I told the two employees on site that I wanted a fill AND a pedicure but they just stared at me. No one offered to accommodate me and NO ONE said I could make an appointment. They just said the person who answers the phone isn't there nor is the person who does fills and then stared at me like I was from planet Mars. While I was across the street getting the services I was in search of, I received numerous annoying phone calls from different numbers telling me to delete this review which is harassment at its finest. I'm not deleting my review because it's my honest experience and being asked to do so is not only tacky, it's a bad business practice. Final note: while at Kailua Happy Nails across the street, another woman came in and asked for a fill and said "I was calling Kailua Nails and no one would answer the phone. So I came here." That was almost noon. Clearly this salon has issues. I will never return to this salon and warn any potential new clients to avoid doing business with them. They clearly don't have enough staff to service customers or even answer the phone during posted business hours nor do they know what customer service is, as is demonstrated by their response below.(And now they are straight up lying. I WAS called and asked to delete my review multiple times. I ended up blocking the phone numbers because it was annoying.)Update: the person below has kept editing their comment so now it reflects a much more professional response in the beginning. If they had responded this way initially, things wouldn't have gone as far as they did. I was nice and honest in my initial review. I hope they learn that arguing or insinuating that a customer is lying is NOT the way to do business. Read Less
