I was killing some time and figured I would try the salon in Manoa instead of going to my regular place at Ala Moana. I walked in and they had maybe 3 customers asked if I could get a mani and she said "pick your color" and had someone right away.  Lisa was really great.  Did a nice job cleaning and took care of my dry heels without any additional charge. Where I know some places would.  Since she did such a good job I asked if I could add on a mani.  She asked someone named Josie who was really rude.  She said "No, can't am busy"  as I watched her walking around without a client as well as another lady.  I wondered maybe someone was coming in.  I asked Lisa again about 10 mins later and she asked the Josie girl again. She rudely again said "no am busy I have a 10 o'clock appointment" no apology or asked If I wanted to come back later.  You would think she would try to accommodate??? As I was having my nails dried, I think it was Josie mother who said to me "are you done?" and walked to the register.  I figured she wanted me to pay.  I walked over to the register and she said $26.  She took my credit card and didn't say a thing, gave back my credit card and walked away. Wow!  I've never had such bad service. I'm a business owner and I always try to accommodate my customers and at least thank them for their business.  I wonder how some people still stay in business.  I will never go back there again or recommend to my friends.  Thanks to Lisa for a good job! Diana is the only person that I trust waxing my eyebrows. I have gone to a few other places before discovering Diana at Manoa Nails. I'm not too sure how long I've been seeing her but this review is way overdue!!! To me it's very important to trust the person who waxes your eyebrows. Eyebrows are one of the main things on your face!!! She knows how my eyebrows are and does a good job every time I see her!!!! She is super friendly and super fast!!!!  I can count on her. This place is SO CLEAN and sanitary!! I was able to get an appointment by phone quickly and got a pedicure with Lisa. She was meticulous and un-rushed. I felt so relaxed by the time I left. Had a basic pedicure and my first ever manicure, with gel polish. Such a pleasant place. Staff was kind yet unassuming and I was able to relax. Just walked out from getting a Gelish Mani &a Basic Pedi and I'm extremely happy! I don't remember the girls name that did my nails but she sits in the farthest row, closest to the wall! She did a great job. I feel so bad for her, she took in the job of my rough hands and even ROUGHER looking feet. (They were really bad due to my old job at Home Depot) I posted before and after of my hands- but not of my toes bc it was too bad We started out with a pedi, the massage chair was amazing and she really polished my feet up! Calf exfoliate and massage was great  My toes got to dry while she did my manicure with gel polish! My nails were def. not long enough to do an almond shape but she rounded them out and made them all look even They have a Pretty large selection of different colors and this is probably the best pricing I've seen on the island. Unfortunately their card machine was down so it was cash only- BUT the great thing about this is that there is an ATM directly beneath their shop on the 1st floor. Based in Mānoa Marketplace I was keen to try Mānoa Nails since I was living and working close by.  I'd previously been down to Waikiki to a fabulous place but was wanting to find somewhere a little closer to home.  I can't recommend the service and standard here highly enough.  I wandered in on Sunday afternoon, booked an appointment and was probably one of the last customers of the weekend.  I was so happy with my sleek nude gel nails (mani and pedi) - that I'm sending my friends here too.  Clean, great quality service, equipment and products, my technician was experienced and welcoming.  And the price was almost half of what I was charged in Waikiki! I picked a regular pedi $24.99 and wasn't disappointed. Not overly ecstatic either. They trim your nails before soaking which I'm not used to and usually have them soaking to soften. I chose a color I normally don't which was a tangerine-like, pastel, summery one. I actually liked it. Their polishes are OPI and when I shook them all, they seemed diluted, like acetone was added. Nonetheless the color wasn't thinned out and has endured. The massage was more of a rub but it was still relaxing. They get busy so I'd make an appointment. This is my first time there but I love my acrylics! Tina did them, and she was very nice, also very thorough. I'm not yet sure how long they will last, but for now they look amazing! Now I know why my sister-in-law loves this place - it rocks!  Called two days in advance for an appointment for 2 pedis ($24.99 each).  when i arrived at my appointment time, our techs were waiting for us and asked us to pick out our polish. So many choices! Josey was my tech and she diligently filed my toenails, removed the cuticles, scraped off the dead skin from the bottom of my feet, and gave me a great lower leg and foot massage. Then she asked me to put on my slippers before proceeding to paint my toes - brilliant idea, since we all know how easy it is to ruin your paint job while trying to put on your slippers.The facility is clean and well ventilated. Manoa nails is a great little gem in Manoa. I had a few hours of break from summer TA training at UH Manoa and have been meaning to get my nails done. Decided to just do it; why not, I had two and a half hours to kill. I wanted a place real close to Manoa near a coffee shop. Looked on Yelp, saw good reviews, but it was really the price list that drew me in. The prices were so good! Normally I go to a different spa for my nails and waxing, but that was too far a drive for a last minute decision.I'm so glad I tried this place out! It was very clean and bright, easy to find, workers were friendly, and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I hate when I walk into a place and I have to summon The Force within to get someone to make eye contact with me. Not an issue here.  AND they were able to take me in last minute since it was slow then.The aesthetician I had was a young 2nd gen local vietnamese woman so she could actually speak english, which was nice. We had conversation off and on.I love how my nails came out. They have a great selection of gel/shellac nails and designs. It's about a month after and they still look exactly how they did when I came out of the salon, minus some space at the top due to my nails growing out.Definitely would recommend this salon to friends. Since the prices are pretty good here, I'm thinking about coming back with my fellow TA's for a little R&R before we grade assignments...or maybe we should wait until after.. lol. Read Less

Yay! Found a place to get a $25 pedicure. This is much cheaper than other places but still good quality. The massage chairs were comfortable and I was able to do a walk-in on a Saturday morning with no wait. It started getting more busy though so I'm sure this is a popular place for manicures and pedicures. Read Less

Very clean and sanitary. Beautiful space and super nice friendly customer service...you feel like a family when you walk in...very welcoming and the work is fantastic...I always love the work they do, from French tips to acrylic...I've been nothing but satisfied with their work and artistry.
