My mother, sister and I tried this place this past weekend and they enjoyed it. Called in on Saturday morning and they fit us in later that afternoon. They liked Kim and Sang but the girl I had was just ok. I was the last to start and first to finish. She painted far away from my cuticles but so far no chips even with my steel toe shoes I wear for work. You can see it in the photo and it's been two days so my nails don't grow that fast.The foot massage was ok. On the other hand, Kim and Sang which did my sister and mom did a great job during the whole course of the pedicure! They enjoyed it and my mom would come back here to Sang and Kim. Parking is fairly easy and close. There are steep steps to get up to the 2nd floor so it maybe more difficult for older folks. It's quite cozy but clean. My friend and have tried all the nail salons around kaimuki and finally discovered head to toe. Wished I could have came here sooner! The staffs are very attentive and very accommodating. They tend to get busy so it's best if you make an appointment. The place is located on the second floor right next to coffee talk. Parking is plentiful but not free I believe it costs 1.50 for parking. This place also offers variety of services (massages and waxing). Prices are the same as other salons but in my opinion this nail salon is definitely one of the better ones. Read Less

First time going there. Got a manicure, pedicure, and full face wax. The pedicure was the only thing done right. My nail are not what I was hoping for, in fact it’s ugly. The full face wax I was supposed to get, is more like a half face wax. She missed so much hair. AHHHHH!!!! Read Less

Lillian was amazing. I got my first Brazilian done here and she was quick and efficient and THOROUGH. She talked easily with me the whole time and took my mind off the pain. This is a little gem of a place. Very easy to overlook, but I do recommend it. Very clean and cute, and parking was not an issue at 9a.m. in a metered lot about a block away. Even with the Yelp reviewer advice on how to find the salon, I still had difficulty figuring out exactly where it was. There was another building that looked like it had a dragon on it, so I just parked in the lot behind the post office and walked around until I saw a sign for the business - it's the BLUE building with a dragon on it, across from Koko Head Cafe.You'll go up a flight of stairs at what looks like the back of the building and through a hallway where you'll pass the stockroom of a restaurant - don't let that throw you off. Go past that and take the hallway turn to find a door with the salon sign.I made an appointment online for a gel manicure, spa pedicure and brow waxing, but it didn't register for some reason. They later told me that you  should get an email confirmation when you book online - if you don't then you're not in the system and if they're busy you won't get in. Thankfully I made it first thing in the morning and Kim graciously took me in. She's gentle on the cuticles - my standard for a great nail technician. Read Less

This is the only place I go to get my eyebrows and lip waxed. Lillian is always so accommodating. Usually I'll call an hour before to ask if she'd be able to do a wax and most times she is. Today I had an appointment at 12:30 but my plans changed and I called right before they opened to see if I could come at 11 instead. They said they were busy today but if I came right then they could take me. I was there in 15 mins and Lillian took me immediately. The wax is quick and painless. Lip and eyebrow wax is $26 something wit tax included. They also just renovated a couple of months ago. Their original spot is now all mani/pedi chairs and tables and the waxing rooms are now in another room. It's a lot more spacious and private. They have 5 pedicure chairs so maybe I'll ask my girlfriends if they want to go for a mani/pedi day soon. Read Less

This might be my new favorite place to get my nails done. I've only been here once, so I need to go a few more times to be sure, but after my last experience down the street at smileys, I am definitely ready for a better place. Head-to-toe is a little more expensive $58 (before tip) for a gel mani + pedi but I didn't feel like I was in a factory. I didn't feel rushed and the lady doing my nails paid so much attention to detail. Not only do my nails feel and look great, why've lasted far longer than when smiley nails does it. It did take quite a bit more time (almost 2 hours,), but it was definitely worth it. The salon is located upstairs of that building with a dragon on it. It seemed a little sketchy on my way up and the salon itself is rather small. Make an appointment, if possible, because there were only two people doing nails. I'm not sure if it was the owner's kids, but there were two kids hanging out. It wasn't exactly the most relaxing environment, but they weren't like malicious or anything. This nail salon is nicer than the pedi factory downstairs, but has less staff and can't accommodate as many walk ins. I definitely recommended calling ahead to make an appointment - same days are usually available!Today's visit is only my second, but I really like it here. The ladies are nice and do a thorough job. The ladies at the pedi factory below sometimes half a$$ it. Head to Toe does a great job for only $3 more. This place is a little hard to find, and parking was a nightmare. Kaimuki, around noon on a Saturday!  but they are along the same wall as Coffee Talk on 12th street, across from the bank, and up the stairs. This place is tiny! I mean itty bitty! They have two tables for manicures and three chairs for pedis. Even though it is small its actually really cute! Its brightly lit, air conditioned and they have cute pictures on the wall. I'm actually embarrassed to say I didn't get any of the women's names. There were three of them, one did my pedi and the hound one did my mani. The other lady was busy with other women coming in and out for manicures. She probably saw 3 girls in the time that I was there. They all were EXTREMELY nice. I was so happy since I have been to places where nobody talks or the ladies have attitude. But these ladies were friendly, they talked in what I  assuming was Vietnamese amongst themselves almost the whole time. I'm not sure what she was talking about, but the younger one went on and on laughing and smiling, she was very cute and helped make the place feel less small and more comfortable. Like I said, at one point I had two of the ladies working on me. The whole expierence was so pleasant. The woman who did my toes was very gentle and kept asking if the pressure was ok, or laughing when I told her it tickled. She never "tsk"ed me or pulled my foot back. I honestly didn't understand much of what she was saying, but I felt very comfortable with her and I liked her almost right off. The younger women did my mani, and that was fantastic. She was funny and charming, even though again I didn't understand much, I smiled and she smiled. She seemed very sweet. Both women complimented me on my hair and nails. And they were both gentle.They had great color selections and I found what I wanted easily. The finished product is amazing. I am very satisfied.
