New customers- AVOID. Took my daughter in for a mani (shellac) and a pedi for her birthday (she lives here, I'm visiting). I also requested just a basic pedi for myself as my nails are done elsewhere....
New customers- AVOID. Took my daughter in for a mani (shellac) and a pedi for her birthday (she lives here, I'm visiting). I also requested just a basic pedi for myself as my nails are done elsewhere. They offered upsells and I agreed to flowers. She ended my pedi with a foot paraffin wax that I had not asked for, but I knew there would be additional charges. Fast forward time to pay... they charge me $112 for my pedicure and $100 for my daughter's mani/pedi. I asked several times if that was correct and all the sudden she didn't speak English very well. She added an additional charge (taxes? Idk) bringing my total to $226.50 for a mani/pedi and pedi. Then was pushing the calculator into my hand asking how much to add for a tip. I told her I would not be adding a tip to my card. That if I leave a tip it will be cash....like the sign right there suggested "cash tips preferred". I signed the receipt and did not leave a tip, which I NEVER do! I feel bad about not leaving a tip but I felt like I was totally ripped off. I've included a picture of my $112 pedicure... this is the quality you will get... I would avoid this place at all costs. Such a waste of money and complete dishonesty. Very shady and they rely on tourists netsuke they can get away with it. Disgusting.

But there’s his total on the calculator… my husbands 40 dollar pedicure and my toe polish and little flower design on my big toes he said was 60.00(I had no pedicure) . And 20 dollar tip (add this to the 220.00 for total of 340.00. I did get design for my nails but NOTHING special, normal small rhinestones. I would of showed pic of my nails but I could only download one pic so I though you might like to see this paper from my nail tech himself breaking down my charges and coming up with 340.00,,, after writing the chargers he asked if I was leaving a tip. I almost said hell no but then I said to myself I’m going to accept I’ve been scammed and just give him a 20.00 cus that’s what I usually tip my techs. God don’t like ugly tho. These people were nice but they are slick and will rip you off with no conscious. My nails are a normal size long nail. I don’t like them to long he cut way over half the nail off when he applied them and after filing them the were even shorter. As you see in the paper the charged me $30 dollars for extra long nails. I said these are no where near long and your charging me? He couldn’t even look me in my eyes any longer because he knew he is being dirty. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! I have never In my life seen nail work this expensive and I do my nails all the time. I see if I can do another review and show you my nails. They are true scammers!! Be careful! My advice is make sure to get a price before they begin. Ask how much is design for each finger and make sure they don’t trick you and charge 30 extra dollars for extr long nails like they did me. Better yet have a pic of desired nails and ask them, HOW
MUCH for THIS?? If not they will prey on you.so sad to do this to people like this with no conscious at all. Better yet just don’t go there. There’s a reasonable place up the road like going to Diamond In a plaza by a dentist that would of done these same nails for like 110.00 …go to them!! The are honest

Went in the next day to check what they used on me they didn’t want to know and offed me half my money back, after sitting there waiting to talk to the manger they offed me the full amount to get me out of there. I had to go to the doctors later in the arvo cause I was in pain and it looked like it was getting infected. My holiday has been ruined I can’t swim in the ocean or the pools and it hurts to walk after awhile. Ended up costing me over $450 in doctor fees

Look closely to the cleanliness of the trolleys and stations. All dirty and full of nails and cuticles.
- Tools don’t seem to be sanitized
- Towels are dirty and thrown on the floor and re-used
- Pedicure stations are definitely not to use as there are so many micro organisms lingering in them
- Manicure application was horrible
- Prices are ridiculously high

Getting nails did across the street from Waikiki Beach? 'Nuff said. Price was absolutely affordable for location. Service was great, they were able to seat us right away and I used my own polish (gotta use that breathable stuff ;) They did not have any water or drinks as we do at a lot of our nail places in SoCal (or Cali?) Not sure if it's just a SoCal thing... and when the girl was doing my feet, she swatted a mosquito and then continued working on my feet which is why the one star down. Other than that, I'd be back!

Happy with both my deluxe pedi and my mani. One of my toes is a little smuged, but no big deal. I had the SNS manicure which was a different experience that your typical polish or shellac. Worth the vacation splurge, treat yo'self!

I had a gel manicure and eyelash extensions done here. I was staying in Waikiki so this place was convenient for me. The price was also reasonable compared to other salons in the area. So, if you're in the area and want a clean environment I would recommend this place for nails.I loved my gel manicure. I had an Asian male. He was very thorough, and did a good job making sure it was clean and the polish wasn't too thick.My eyelash extension experience was totally different. I got the natural set. The price is $120-150 depending on how full/long you want it. I didn't realize it until after, but my inner lashes were stuck together. Also, the extension wasn't properly glued on individual lashes. From my previous experiences else where, my lashes usual last between 2.5-3 weeks. This time eyelashes started to shed after a few days!

And with tax (which is crazy expensive) and tip I pay $65. Super natural though. And a lot of colors of SNS powder which is nice. Just be prepared for the cost!

Just got my nails done for my wedding tomorrow and first the staff is terrible. I didn't like my nails so I asked them to fix it something else. The older asian lady then tells me it quill be an extra charge to fix it. Then she quoted me $75 for simple painted nails then an extra charger for having to fix it. Then I had my toes painted (I did not have a pedicure just polish only) which they charged another$40. So in total it was $160 after terrible service, bad nail work, and being charged for mistakes they made. No thanks! So ya my nails are terrible and my wedding is tomorrow FML!

Love this location!For those of you who are not staying at any of the local hotels, then you may be wondering about parking. If you're familiar with Waikiki it can get a little pricey if you don't plan ahead. I like to park at Kapiolani park for free (2-hr maximum) or for some small change (4-hr maximum) and enjoy the stroll towards the shopping area. Hale Aloha Nani Nails is located on Kalakaua Ave at the Marriott Waikiki Beach Hotel. It's been 8 months since they opened this location and I found out they are related to the Aloha Nails at Waikiki Beachwalk on Lewers St, which I have frequented before. Opening up a second salon in Waikiki is a sign of success!I walked into the salon around 11:30am with a warm welcome and a spa pedicure was available. Regina did my pedicure and was fantastic! Very meticulous work and it was well worth the price I paid for a Deluxe Spa Pedicure at $42. It included the typical soak, cut, shape, clean, cuticles, scrub, massage, and color, but Regina really took her time to pamper me. Loved it and will continue to keep coming back! My little getaway.....P.S. Don't believe the other reviews. Seems like they're not true based on the number of reviews they have written on other businesses or friends that have on Yelp.

Hale aloha Nani nails is the most ghetto, dirty, un professional nail salon I've ever been to in my entire life. The girl who did my nails was rude ,scary, mean, and soooo unprofessional. Stay away from this nail salon they aren't cheap either and do horrible acrylic nail work. I describe this place a brothel and feel sorry for any nice local girl who goes to a disgusting nail salon like this one. I should've asked for my money back but was so afraid of the aggressively rude nail tech who did my nails that I just wanted to pay and get out of their as. Fast as I could.

Very rude and pushy. I came in three times on various occasions and every time they were trying to sell me the most expensive services. They become very angry if you don't do what they push you to do. I was reading the brochure with listed services and one of the ladies literally ran up to me and began grabbing the list of of me hands, not allowing me to read it. I was told later on she was the manager. They absolutely destroyed my nails trying to remove the old gel, scraping them with machine that hurt nails for 2 days. I asked my money back, they refused to do it.
Watch them very carefully, especially the manager (!!!)calculating the price for the service, because they add extra charges. As I was doing my nails I witnessed a few people telling them the calculation was wrong.
They do business as if they are at some cheap market in some third world country. I would give them zero because what they do is not a SERVICE, it's a DISSERVICE.

I chose the one that was $40 and added a foot massage for $15. When she rang me up it was $89 dollars and so I went to and even $100. Service was fine but I was sad that they overcharged me and then a couple days later all of them had come off and I wasn't doing anything to cause this. $100 gone.Response from business - The pedi you chose $40 ( deluxe pedi) + 20 minutes massage $30 +design about $15 to $20 plus Hawaii tax.We did not overcharged.If the opi polish did not last on your toes..we sorry about it . Next time if you come Hawaii should do Gel , shellac ...Thank you for your feedback.Hope see you again next time .My response was that they watched the clock for the 15 minute massage and it was on the service price list as 15, I would never have paid 30 dollars for that. And I've never had a design cost 20 dollars, this could be a warning for others that take their children in for a design. Unfortunate that a design could cost more than a pedicure.

Absolutely disgusting nail salon, worst service ever! I highly recommend you don't go to this salon. My niece fell and got hurt and they wouldn't get ice and didn't even care. This place should not be in bussiness. They refused to even do my manicure because I had my one year old with me, one of the staff even criticized me for breastfeeding and said my baby looked to big when she is only a one year old. I really regret even going to this nail salon. My pedicure was the worst I ever had!!

We're traveling this week in Hawaii for both work and pleasure. Needing a pedicure but not having a car, I found the closest salon to me, which was this one - maybe a 3 minute walk from my room. I got one of the deluxe pedicures and was pampered for about a solid hour while I sat there and (tried to) relax - I brought my computer down with me and continued to work ;-). My toes look amazing and my feet and legs pampered. The actual salon was very clean and they had probably the best massage chairs I've ever been in! Super happy with this experience overall. It might be years before I am back in this area again - but I would for sure visit here again if I am nearby.

I came here because it was in close proximity to my hotel and I needed a rehab on my gel nails. Very friendly and welcoming. Wonderful and relaxing pedicure. $40 bucks for the Deluxe sugar scrub and so worth it! I had a Gel Manicure and my nails look fantastic. Look at this hibiscus flower. I can't find this in my nail salon on mainland! All the way around a very affordable top notch experience. I wish I lived here because I would be a regular!

I got the treatments with gel polish that the flyer said were $40. Then, when the procedures were done, turns out the gel was an ADDITIONAL $30 for the 2 services. Flyer is misleading. I expected the polish to be included in that price! Also, here I am 2 days later with gel polish separating from 1 fingernail and I haven't done anything to cause it, just fly home and sleep. That makes me mad for such a high price.

Totally love the service and the finish product from this nail salon! I'm in waikiki for a vacation and my nails were in dire need of a fill. I called before I came in to find out if they were busy and they told me to come on down. I showed up about 15 minutes later and was immediately taken to a seat. Calvin was the person who did my nails and I can't tell you enough how awesome he was! He chatted with me the whole time which I really enjoyed. Usually I sit in silence while the employees talk to each other so the fact that Calvin talked to me the whole time was fantastic! Thank you so much for the wonderful conversation and the great job on my fill!

The manicure and pedicures are great and they have very good value especially for Waikiki. I am also amazed at how clean the shop itself is and makes it a very comfortable experience. I would highly recommend this salon you won't be dissatisfied.

Never, never, never...have I had anyone EVER hand design my gel manicure individually one nail at a time.My manicurists whom I found out was originally from Japan was so sweet and kind in every sense.She told me her wonderful story about studying abroad, getting married, and how she relocated & ended up in the beautiful island of Oahu. I feel like everyone has a story to tell. It's just a matter of time before it is revealed. Anyhow, she will be hands down the best manicurist in my book for hand crafting & designing my gel nails individually one nail at a time with a tub of glitter and a fine tipped brush.It was pure art in the making. Never have I ever had anyone in LA individually hand design my gel nails one at a time.I am floored by her work and I can't wait to go back next time I am in Honolulu.

I was vacationing in Oahu and needed a touch up on my pedi due to spending so much time on their beautiful beaches. I walked by this nail salon and walked in to check it out, to my surprise the shop was very clean and nice. I was welcomed in with kind greets from the workers, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm actually a very particular person when it comes to my pedicures so I was a bit nervous trying someone and somewhere new. Fortunately, it was a great experience and the gal that did my pedi did a great job. Very thorough, massage was great and most importantly the polish job was neat and beautiful. I went for the sugar pedi which included the sugar rub and paraffin wax, made my feet soft as a baby's bottom. So if you're in Waikiki vacationing and happen to need nails services I recommend this salon. Pleased visitor.

New customers- AVOID. Took my daughter in for a mani (shellac) and a pedi for her birthday (she lives here, I'm visiting). I also requested just a basic pedi for myself as my nails are done elsewhere. They offered upsells and I agreed to flowers. She ended my pedi with a foot paraffin wax that I had not asked for, but I knew there would be additional charges. Fast forward time to pay... they charge me $112 for my pedicure and $100 for my daughter's mani/pedi. I asked several times if that was correct and all the sudden she didn't speak English very well. She added an additional charge (taxes? Idk) bringing my total to $226.50 for a mani/pedi and pedi. Then was pushing the calculator into my hand asking how much to add for a tip. I told her I would not be adding a tip to my card. That if I leave a tip it will be cash....like the sign right there suggested "cash tips preferred". I signed the receipt and did not leave a tip, which I NEVER do! I feel bad about not leaving a tip but I felt like I was totally ripped off. I've included a picture of my $112 pedicure... this is the quality you will get... I would avoid this place at all costs. Such a waste of money and complete dishonesty. Very shady and they rely on tourists netsuke they can get away with it. Disgusting.

But there’s his total on the calculator… my husbands 40 dollar pedicure and my toe polish and little flower design on my big toes he said was 60.00(I had no pedicure) . And 20 dollar tip (add this to the 220.00 for total of 340.00. I did get design for my nails but NOTHING special, normal small rhinestones. I would of showed pic of my nails but I could only download one pic so I though you might like to see this paper from my nail tech himself breaking down my charges and coming up with 340.00,,, after writing the chargers he asked if I was leaving a tip. I almost said hell no but then I said to myself I’m going to accept I’ve been scammed and just give him a 20.00 cus that’s what I usually tip my techs. God don’t like ugly tho. These people were nice but they are slick and will rip you off with no conscious. My nails are a normal size long nail. I don’t like them to long he cut way over half the nail off when he applied them and after filing them the were even shorter. As you see in the paper the charged me $30 dollars for extra long nails. I said these are no where near long and your charging me? He couldn’t even look me in my eyes any longer because he knew he is being dirty. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! I have never In my life seen nail work this expensive and I do my nails all the time. I see if I can do another review and show you my nails. They are true scammers!! Be careful! My advice is make sure to get a price before they begin. Ask how much is design for each finger and make sure they don’t trick you and charge 30 extra dollars for extr long nails like they did me. Better yet have a pic of desired nails and ask them, HOW

I had to go to the doctors later in the arvo cause I was in pain and it looked like it was getting infected. My holiday has been ruined I can’t swim in the ocean or the pools and it hurts to walk after awhile. Ended up costing me over $450 in doctor fees

- Tools don’t seem to be sanitized
- Towels are dirty and thrown on the floor and re-used
- Pedicure stations are definitely not to use as there are so many micro organisms lingering in them
- Manicure application was horrible
- Prices are ridiculously high

Service was great, they were able to seat us right away and I used my own polish (gotta use that breathable stuff ;) They did not have any water or drinks as we do at a lot of our nail places in SoCal (or Cali?) Not sure if it's just a SoCal thing... and when the girl was doing my feet, she swatted a mosquito and then continued working on my feet which is why the one star down. Other than that, I'd be back!

So, if you're in the area and want a clean environment I would recommend this place for nails.I loved my gel manicure. I had an Asian male. He was very thorough, and did a good job making sure it was clean and the polish wasn't too thick.My eyelash extension experience was totally different. I got the natural set. The price is $120-150 depending on how full/long you want it. I didn't realize it until after, but my inner lashes were stuck together. Also, the extension wasn't properly glued on individual lashes. From my previous experiences else where, my lashes usual last between 2.5-3 weeks. This time eyelashes started to shed after a few days!

Just got my nails done for my wedding tomorrow and first the staff is terrible. I didn't like my nails so I asked them to fix it something else. The older asian lady then tells me it quill be an extra charge to fix it. Then she quoted me $75 for simple painted nails then an extra charger for having to fix it. Then I had my toes painted (I did not have a pedicure just polish only) which they charged another$40. So in total it was $160 after terrible service, bad nail work, and being charged for mistakes they made. No thanks! So ya my nails are terrible and my wedding is tomorrow FML!

Love this location!For those of you who are not staying at any of the local hotels, then you may be wondering about parking. If you're familiar with Waikiki it can get a little pricey if you don't plan ahead. I like to park at Kapiolani park for free (2-hr maximum) or for some small change (4-hr maximum) and enjoy the stroll towards the shopping area. Hale Aloha Nani Nails is located on Kalakaua Ave at the Marriott Waikiki Beach Hotel. It's been 8 months since they opened this location and I found out they are related to the Aloha Nails at Waikiki Beachwalk on Lewers St, which I have frequented before. Opening up a second salon in Waikiki is a sign of success!I walked into the salon around 11:30am with a warm welcome and a spa pedicure was available. Regina did my pedicure and was fantastic! Very meticulous work and it was well worth the price I paid for a Deluxe Spa Pedicure at $42. It included the typical soak, cut, shape, clean, cuticles, scrub, massage, and color, but Regina really took her time to pamper me. Loved it and will continue to keep coming back! My little getaway.....P.S. Don't believe the other reviews. Seems like they're not true based on the number of reviews they have written on other businesses or friends that have on Yelp.

Stay away from this nail salon they aren't cheap either and do horrible acrylic nail work. I describe this place a brothel and feel sorry for any nice local girl who goes to a disgusting nail salon like this one. I should've asked for my money back but was so afraid of the aggressively rude nail tech who did my nails that I just wanted to pay and get out of their as. Fast as I could.

They become very angry if you don't do what they push you to do. I was reading the brochure with listed services and one of the ladies literally ran up to me and began grabbing the list of of me hands, not allowing me to read it. I was told later on she was the manager. They absolutely destroyed my nails trying to remove the old gel, scraping them with machine that hurt nails for 2 days. I asked my money back, they refused to do it.
Watch them very carefully, especially the manager (!!!)calculating the price for the service, because they add extra charges. As I was doing my nails I witnessed a few people telling them the calculation was wrong.
They do business as if they are at some cheap market in some third world country. I would give them zero because what they do is not a SERVICE, it's a DISSERVICE.

Service was fine but I was sad that they overcharged me and then a couple days later all of them had come off and I wasn't doing anything to cause this. $100 gone.Response from business - The pedi you chose $40 ( deluxe pedi) + 20 minutes massage $30 +design about $15 to $20 plus Hawaii tax.We did not overcharged.If the opi polish did not last on your toes..we sorry about it . Next time if you come Hawaii should do Gel , shellac ...Thank you for your feedback.Hope see you again next time .My response was that they watched the clock for the 15 minute massage and it was on the service price list as 15, I would never have paid 30 dollars for that. Absolutely disgusting nail salon, worst service ever! I highly recommend you don't go to this salon. My niece fell and got hurt and they wouldn't get ice and didn't even care. This place should not be in bussiness. They refused to even do my manicure because I had my one year old with me, one of the staff even criticized me for breastfeeding and said my baby looked to big when she is only a one year old. I really regret even going to this nail salon. My pedicure was the worst I ever had!!

We're traveling this week in Hawaii for both work and pleasure. Needing a pedicure but not having a car, I found the closest salon to me, which was this one - maybe a 3 minute walk from my room. I got one of the deluxe pedicures and was pampered for about a solid hour while I sat there and (tried to) relax - I brought my computer down with me and continued to work ;-). My toes look amazing and my feet and legs pampered. The actual salon was very clean and they had probably the best massage chairs I've ever been in! Super happy with this experience overall. It might be years before I am back in this area again - but I would for sure visit here again if I am nearby.

People were very nice, salon is clean and in a great location across the street from Waikiki beach. The mani and pedi were enjoyable and looked great when finished. I got the treatments with gel polish that the flyer said were $40. Then, when the procedures were done, turns out the gel was an ADDITIONAL $30 for the 2 services. Flyer is misleading. I expected the polish to be included in that price! Also, here I am 2 days later with gel polish separating from 1 fingernail and I haven't done anything to cause it, just fly home and sleep. That makes me mad for such a high price.

Good location, friendly staff, clean & comfortable. I found my favorite place to do my nail, Linh always did excellent job on my nail. Definitely I will recommend to go Hale Aloha Nani Nails.

Totally love the service and the finish product from this nail salon! I'm in waikiki for a vacation and my nails were in dire need of a fill. I called before I came in to find out if they were busy and they told me to come on down. I showed up about 15 minutes later and was immediately taken to a seat. Calvin was the person who did my nails and I can't tell you enough how awesome he was! He chatted with me the whole time which I really enjoyed. Usually I sit in silence while the employees talk to each other so the fact that Calvin talked to me the whole time was fantastic! Thank you so much for the wonderful conversation and the great job on my fill!

New nail salons across the beach. Good service but the toe paint wasn't the greatest. The paint wasn't painted all over my toes.

The manicure and pedicures are great and they have very good value especially for Waikiki. I am also amazed at how clean the shop itself is and makes it a very comfortable experience. I would highly recommend this salon you won't be dissatisfied.

Never, never, never...have I had anyone EVER hand design my gel manicure individually one nail at a time.My manicurists whom I found out was originally from Japan was so sweet and kind in every sense.She told me her wonderful story about studying abroad, getting married, and how she relocated & ended up in the beautiful island of Oahu. I feel like everyone has a story to tell. It's just a matter of time before it is revealed. Anyhow, she will be hands down the best manicurist in my book for hand crafting & designing my gel nails individually one nail at a time with a tub of glitter and a fine tipped brush.It was pure art in the making. Never have I ever had anyone in LA individually hand design my gel nails one at a time.I am floored by her work and I can't wait to go back next time I am in Honolulu.

I was vacationing in Oahu and needed a touch up on my pedi due to spending so much time on their beautiful beaches. I walked by this nail salon and walked in to check it out, to my surprise the shop was very clean and nice. I was welcomed in with kind greets from the workers, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm actually a very particular person when it comes to my pedicures so I was a bit nervous trying someone and somewhere new. Fortunately, it was a great experience and the gal that did my pedi did a great job. Very thorough, massage was great and most importantly the polish job was neat and beautiful. I went for the sugar pedi which included the sugar rub and paraffin wax, made my feet soft as a baby's bottom. So if you're in Waikiki vacationing and happen to need nails services I recommend this salon. Pleased visitor.
