I come here regularly because it's close to my house. Parking is a challenge sometimes because you compete with Andy's andStarbucks, and the parking lot across the street is for the shopping center. It's all timing to get a good parking space. I came to the shop unannounced as I usually do, and most days there isn't a long wait, but there were only two nail technicians and the wait would have been 30 minutes. Cindy told me to come back and call before I came back. I came back hours later and called to make sure they could fit me. I guess two ladies walked in before me because my parking timing was longer than I anticipated, but they still accommodated me!! She sat me in a chair and I waited for maybe 5 minutes! I like this place better than Manoa nails because while the shop is much smaller, it is more intimate and personable. I could go to Manoa nails for the guarantee service because of the amount of nail techs and seats, but these girls here are much more friendly, and I'd rather support that kind of business. This is a cute little shop located near my house so I thought I'd give it a try. They accept walk-ins, which I really appreciate! They started my pedi as soon as I walked in. The foot massage was excellent and my toes came out looking clean, polished, and my feet felt great! My full set with gel color came out pretty and the shape and color were just what I asked for. First of all, I use to love this place. Until this past pedicure which sent me to the doctor with a STAPH infection....needless to say, do not go here. I got a pedicure done here and several horrible things happened:1. She cut the skin around my big toe so much I was bleeding. Did she say anything? Nope. Just tried to hide it with the nasty towel that my feet were resting on.2. After the pedicure, I noticed where she cut was very sore and red and I could barely walk...so I went to the doctor because naturally I figured it was just an ingrown nail.3. After 3 doctors visits, over $100 in prescriptions and visits, I was told I had a staph infection in my cuticle. Gross, sore, and deadly infection.4. All of this can be lead back to the nasty equipment used at this nail salon. Three weeks after my pedicure I am still limping around in pain. Read Less

The name of the salon really is more of a description of what you get out of the place (which is literally fantastic nails!). I had my nails (whole acrylic set, shaped pointed almond) done by the owner Cindy, and they came out amazing. After a trip to manoa nails I decided to give this place a try and I will definitely be coming back. The total was only $40 for a acrylic set w/ gel polish which is really cheap!!! Discovered this small nail salon after dropping off my cousin and friend to Punahou for their track meet. I intended to go to Manoa Marketplace Nails but they didn't have an opening for a mani-pedi until 3pm. So I walked across the street to Starbucks and found them! Got a pedicure with design & gel manicure for under $100! Loved the treatment as well, they really did a good job with my mani-pedi. Will definitely go back! Read Less

Prices equivalent to Manoa Nails, I don't know why I didn't just wait a few hours for an appointment there instead of coming here. Shop feels very cramped. Not too much selection on polish colors to choose from (for both regular and gel). So here's the kicker: the lady that gave me a pedicure filed off the skin on the top of one of my toes. I grimaced and flinched so I know she knew what she did but never apologized or tried to soothe it. She just ignored it and continued on. The "leg massage" wasn't a massage by any means, and the way she did the whole pedicure just wasn't enjoyable and relaxing at all.....in fact at times it was rather uncomfortable. And then, a different lady (who was friendly in her defense) did my nails. I had to ask her to put more gel on the sides of all my nails. Like there were honestly two large bare strips of nail showing on all my nails when she did them. She kind of seemed confused, as to why I'd want my whole nail painted? Which made me confused, because this is a nail salon.....why would she not paint the full nail? Do some people come in and ask for a "landing strip" on each finger as nail design?Anyway, at least she was a tad apologetic and complied with my request.
