First nail place Ive been to (bear in mind Im a hard working guy). Had a pedicure, manicure, and eyebrow waxing done (not first time getting this done). I was a walk in and they still managed to take care of me swiftly, and kept me relaxed through the whole process. My feet were pretty bad going in with ingrown toenails and about half my foot was dead skin. After they finished my foot was reduced a half a boot/shoe size, I could wear wides vs extra wides again, and I also regained the ability to feel with my feet. I never get pedicures, but my experience with Emma was superb. She was sweet and helpful from the very beginning. She recommended the Volcano pearl and honey foot treatment and it worked wonders. Went in for an acrylic removal from a previous salon. First worker named Ann did the removal of my acrylic and did a pretty good job I guess, although there were still some left over residue. As she was finishing up she introduced me to another lady (didn't get her name) & she was going finish up my clean up and do my basic manicure. Massage was okay and there's still a lot of acrylic residue as you can see. Not to mention my new "paint job" that looks like my nails just grew out. I love getting my nails done it's so relaxing and I feel rejuvenated afterwards. I heard about this place through a co worker so I wanted to check it out. I came here on Sat a little after lunch time. They said the wait would be about 30 minutes which we had no problem with so we just sat and waited. BUT I actually only ended up waiting maybe 15-20 mins which was great! Ms Jane recommended the "ultimate tutti fruity pedicure with parafin" which runs around $53 to 60. The massage chair was great and definitely helped take out some of knots in my back. This place also gave us a bottle of water. I've never been to a nail place that did that before so that's some bonus points for them. Ms Jane who did my pedicure did well I highly recommend her. She did a very goood massage as well as pedicure very friendly. The most important part of the pedicure to me is when she remove the callus because I hate having those in my feet and definitely got in there and took them out. I was desperate for a pedicure, I just moved to Hawaii and didn't have a go to place for nails. I was actually trying to find another place but got confused and ended up at pearl ridge center instead, I went over and asked how long the wait would be and since it was close to the holidays it was about an hour and 15 minute wait, other places I called said three hours so I figured it was best to wait here. I was immediately greeted by Hong who led me over to a chair and made sure the water was warm, she was so nice and professional and didn't rush me even though the salon was extremely busy. I decided to go with the coffee addict pedicure cause the scrub sounded great for my aching legs. The sinks are covered in plastic wrap and thrown away after, the tools came out of unopened bags so everything felt safe and sanitary, pedicures are average price and a basic is about $25 and you can go up to $45 if you want something extra.If you ever want a good pedicure done make sure you request Hong to do it, I will be making sure she does all my pedicures from now on. First time here.. I did the text appt. and the funny thing is I went to the Kapolei location because that was the number I texted and when I got there I was told my appt was at Pearlridge. Wasn't to happy about that, but I had time to drive out there.I was called in at my exact time. The lady was very nice and helpful in explaining the different types of styles and lengths.The application: Okay.. I don't know if it's supposed to burn like hell when applying the adhesive, but it did! It burned so bad that the tears wouldn't stop flowing. Maybe I'm just sensitive to it? Anyways, I had to sit for several minutes with my eyes closed as tears rolled down from burning, my tech did ask if I was okay. I could barely see well after leaving because of the pain. It's been now 2 days and my eyes finally feel normal again.Overall, love my lashes, they are so light weight and natural feeling.I do wish they provided instructions on how to wash them and the wash too would be useful. They did provide me with a spoolie brush and what not to put on them or do for at least half the day.I gave 3 stars based on the burning and the appt situation. Read Less

This place has seriously gone downhill in customer service. I'm sticking to Judy's Nails from now on. It's not as convenient for me as being in Pearl Ridge, but at least I know what to expect when I go there and Judy is always so nice. She actually cares about her customers! As I was walking through the mall, I saw this nail salon and decided to stop in and treat myself. I had never been here before and it looked just as nice on the inside as it did the outside. I was really impressed! I had a few questions regarding services and since the two young ladies upfront were busy, I asked this guy who was sitting a few tables back who had just finished another ladies service. He was so rude! It was like I was annoying him or wasting his time. He ...wouldn't even explain things to me and told me to go ask the front desk ladies. I could not believe it. I went back up front and waited to talk to them. I wanted to speak to a manager to make a complaint about how rude that guy was. Well, it turns out HE was the manager! His name was Tim or Tom or something like that. I can't remember. What a jerk! You just lost my business FOREVER. I don't understand all of the negative reviews of this place. It seems like a lot of people whining about miniscule things. I don't usually ever get my nails done, but I had a gift card so why not. I'll admit it was quite pricey. However; I thought the service was great. The woman who did my nails (gel french tips) was Anny. I came to L'mour Nails at Pearlridge Mall with my friend and got a gel manicure. I explained to SANDY that I didn't like my nails because the gel was thick and lumpy and I'd like for it to be taken off. She got an attitude and wanted to argue. How professional! They then tell me I have to pay for the service and removal ($41) NO! I will NOT! So now they want me to pay $12 for them to remove the gel since Im not paying for the service! I have been going to L'amour Nails since I moved to Hawaii back in 2011. I left for the mainland for a few years and came back in 2017. The employees STILL remember my name and my preferences. I always get the Jelly pedicure with complex Nail Art!Lena has been my favorite technician since 2011 and she always takes her time to do the best job! I will sometimes give her up to my friends and family... but I always make a point to make an appointment with her. Her nail art is one of the best too! I will say you really can't go wrong with several of the ladies here:Mae does an amazing pedicure and does one of the best foot massages.Ai always takes care of my friends and she is highly recommended!Ann did my pedicure today in Lena's absence and she did a fantastic job. I would give this place a 00 if possible. Based on the fact I showed up as a walk in at 735pm on a Saturday night and was denied service. They don't close until 9pm and it was not busy. Associate were talking to each other. I asked for a simple pedicure and if they could please accomadate me this evening. The receptionist didn't even check with anyone just stated they take last customer at 730. Suggestion: Post this in your store! Where is the customer service ? I got a pedicure. From the start, the water was ice cold and it was an ordeal to have it heated; I had to ask more than once to have it warmed up and spent most of my pedicure unattended to with my feet soaking in luke warm water. No real scrub done and the massage was limp and sad. The technician performed the massage with her pinky fingers up and just basically rubbed lotion on me with absolutely no pressure and lasted maybe 5 minutes. To top it off, my polish includes chunks of lint. Just glad that my significant other had lots of attention and a full massage! Seems that this is a location with a few shining star technicians while every other one rushes through clients with no attention, just to collect their money and move on to the next. There last Friday...I tried waxing my legs and arms for the first time.... the lady was nice; however, the experience was horrible. I have pics of my legs, swollen for 3 days, my legs are still bumpy and burn. It was painful as she applied the wax, I could feel my hair pulling as she put it on...then I discovered most of the hair didn't come off... then she started to pluck hairs under my armpit that were missed...which was half the pit! I couldn't take anymore! I had to leave...she said I couldn't go... it would make her look bad. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed many times at other places...never have I had this kind of experience. My mom and I get our nails done every two weeks. I know it sounds crazy, but it prevents me from chewing on my nails. Yes, I am a nail bitter. We usually go to a different nail salon in the Pearl City area, but they're always busy, so we decided to try a different nail place. Since L'Amour nails has the chrome polish my mom has been dying to try, we went there. Unlike a few nail salons that I've been to, they open a fresh pair of nail tools, and a fresh set of files. I just walked-in and waited no more than 10 minutes before I was seen. I got my brows cleaned up. Wax was nice and warm, not hot. The pull of the strip was good. I've been to places where it felt like I lost some skin of my eyelids. LOL. The shape of my brows is on point. Us Men can't correct the shape of the brow with a brow pencil like females. I just recently had a wedding party of 20 and just off the back I knew there was no place that would be able to accommodate us. I called around and no salon was able to take us in or tell us where would be the best place to call for a large party. Finally I call L?mour Nails they told me they were able to fit us in. They told me exactly what I needed to know and I was excited. I came in they asked us what we wanted to do and even suggested me to put on Solar Nails for my wedding. It was wonderful for my wedding, I didn?t need to worry about my nail polish chipping or anything. I must add that my wedding party loved the place. nails lifted from where tip was adhered...with clue.....two days after paying 60.00 I went in to show them...they made me feel like I did something wrong..by the way they talked and treated me....they wanted to soak them off with acetone but my fingers had cuts and were sensative to the touch due to filling...told them I would come in 5 days later on my next day off giving them time to heal... they told me no..now... I told them to have a an owner call me so I can better explain ...SHE called me two days later told me it sounded like I was trying to get a free services.. told her that wasn;t the case and that I would be in on friday as planned."" day off.."" friday they start to take them off by using teonail clippers..OUCH....and then comes back and says here your sixty dollars now go......... I told him I needed my nails soaked off or fungus will grow... he told me I'll have to pay for that...than I asked for a file to soften then edges from the toenail clippers and he said no you pay for that too......I get home to try to finish what was started the three nails that were lifting the most .....one nail is bleeding due to NO nail bed and two of my fingers lack a nail bed mid way as well .....how did I wanted this to go ....an apology for the inconvience and had them soaked off with a refunds or gift card a s planned....they showed no reguard for for the lifting with meant no apologies... the second day after being there the guy says to me we out money if we do that......for you ....broken english...broken line of communication...broken customer service......first and last time there......
