I have never had my nails done my a man before, but it was actually an awesome experience. He did such a good job and I got the powder dip nails and a pedicure. They have so many options and services provided (eyebrow wax and tint, eyelash extionsions, acrylics, powder, etc.) The staff is friendly and efficient. I will definitely be visiting again. This was my second time coming to Diva Nails.  My first experience was really great.  The person who did my pedicure did such an amazing job, I decided to drive the distance from Honolulu.  Unfortunately, this last experience was definitely lackluster.  I think the term mediocre would put it best.The woman was sloppy and didn't spend the time on making sure she did a good job.  I paid for the deluxe package A and it felt more like I got the basic done by a person just starting beauty school.  I was expecting a nice rub with the sea salt, but she watered the mixture down as soon as she put it on my legs.  I was highly disappointed in this pedicure.  It was equivalent to what I can and have done at home as a non-professional.  The only difference is I would have made sure the side of my toenails were cleaned.  She never even did that and when I tried to tell her, she couldn't understand me.  Even my toes nails aren't cut straight.  I had a nice shape prior to going and now they practically straight across.  They're crooked and I had to wipe polish off my skin.  I think polish may have been old because it was thick and not drying very well.  There's still some polish around my nails that I'm gonna have to figure how to get off.  Thank goodness I didn't ask for a design.  It might look like a kindergarten finger painting project.After being here for well over an hour and a half, I am highly disappointed and don't know if I'll come back.  It was a bad pedicure​, but not as jacked up as their parking lot.  The person over the store could only say sorry and tell me the name of the lady who had originally helped me.  Now I get to go home and fix this mess.  I guess I won't be wearing slippers or showing my legs.  Unless of course I go to another place or go home and do what I paid someone else to.  I should have just called Kailua Nails in Kailua and tried to get an appointment.  Jacqueline would have done an excellent job and even talked to me.  I'm disappointed and pissed at the same time.  Definitely an experience not worth going through again. Why one star? I've been a regular customer for over two years,for some reason I feel I get ripped off over time why? Because I only had gel men pedi done! That cost me $101,00!!!! Are you serious? When I had my arms,eyebrows wax plus the meni pedi that was over $100 it's worth it! This is has to stop! My sister and I went in to get a mani, pedi and fill done on our nails. Our pedicures went well, but I have never had my toe nails filed with an electric file before...and I have been getting pedicures for over 10 years. So, I found that VERY odd! Then when I got a fill on my nails she was sloppy and got acrylic all over the underside of my figure and left it there. I didn’t think much about it and figured she would get it off when she finished. About a minute later the mess she left on my figure began to BURN like crazy. When I asked her to please get it off she acted annoyed that she had to fix her mistake. When it came time to do nail art I showed her EXACTLY what I wanted on one of their little nails they use to show their work and designs. There was no room for her to mis-understand me. She STILL did her own thing. At this point I was so dang annoyed at the whole experience that I didn’t even bother to tell her she didn’t give me what I wanted. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! When I moved to the leeward side of the island I was looking for a place to get waxed and my friend and I tried this place on a whim. Luckily for us it's gold!This place is cheap and nice. The girl who waxes my eyebrows is amazing! She's fast and it's the least painful brow wax I've ever had. The brow wax is like 10 bux which is the cheapest I've found on island.Also their spa pedicures are amazing they feel great and the people who work there let you converse with your friends without butting in on your conversation. I'm a regular here and have been going here for a year. And will continue to do so!The one thing that makes me sad is when I pay with credit card they won't let me tip that way. I wanted to get a basic manicure, but asked if they could do a gel wrap to strengthen my nails. One of the technicians said the gel wrap wouldn't last and would fall off after a day (so why even offer it, right?), and informed me that I would have to put acrylic put on my natural nails instead. I wanted my nails short and as natural-looking as possible, so I asked them not to put tips on them and to keep the acrylic as thin as possible so as to follow the natural shape of my nails. This didn't happen; not only did the technician do a horrible job on shaping the acrylic (the tips of my nails were flared out beyond the width of my finger tips), she also left the length completely uneven on each finger. To top it all off I was charged $30+tax for everything. When asked why it was so much since a full set costs only $22 (and I didn't even get tips added), I was told it was for the gel wraps (didn't they say it wouldn't be worth getting in the first place?!). So not only did they charge me for a full-set (which I DIDN'T get), they charged me extra for the gel wraps (which they told me NOT to get, but put them on OVER acrylic nails anyway) which they advertise to be only $5 (as an add-on), and somehow came up with a total cost of $30 (you do the math). What should've been a $12 manicure + a $5 add-on service turned into a huge waste of time for a lot of money. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! Read Less
