I work close by to Nick's nails and stop by when needed but recently their customer service has been do bad. The only one that I always love to go to and never had a problem with is Little Kelly (that girl is so sweet and patient). The other's are very harsh with my nails, and if you tell them to fix something they get upset and will have an attitude. Please - do your research and avoid coming here. Read Less

Because Nicks Nails is closer to me, I went to them for a long time. Today I was out and went to Z Nails. The experience convinced me to never patronize Nicks again. The staff at Z's was very friendly and much more compepent. I had toe surgery last year which caused some residual dead skin. I just assumed it couldn't be removed as it remained after numerous pedicures.. However, the technician at Z removed it all. Also, I always get the massage, and most staff at Nicks do a hit or miss which is not worth the extra charge. Read Less

I urge you to avoid this nail salon at all costs! Very poor customer service and inadequate training. The gel polish application was applied unevenly and they did not care. They do a good job if you watch them and tell them what you don't like. They don't polish your nails all the way to the edge unless you ask. They just slop it on fast. People come in and yell across the room to each other disturbing everyone else making it a nerve wracking experience. Also loud cell phone talkers in there. These customers are so lacking in class and consideration for others they don't know what they are doing is wrong. The Manager and employees don't try to stop the noise. I've been going to nicks nails for over a year now and I love them. I even moved to Acworth and will the drive longer to get my pedicure there. The staff is friendly and the messages are aaaaamazing. Took my 7 year old for a manicure while I got a pedicure. She has a severe allergy to red dye, so she picked out blue and green nail polish. She asked to have a Mickey Mouse ear design put on and the lady acted like she didn't know what it was, and then tried to paint her nails pink! When my daughter spoke up and said she can't have pink polish the lady made fun of her. She then tried to put on purple polish (duh! Red and blue dye make purple!) and my daughter corrected her again and she rolled her eyes at her. They finally let her have the polish she actually picked and then tried to put something else with red dye on her and again my daughter corrected the lady and she acted like my kid was just being picky and rude! I stopped in for a quick gel manicure between appointments the other day. The salon was cute, clean and there were plenty of polish colors to choose from. There were several other customers being serviced as well.My experience:The woman who did my nails was not friendly at all. I don't believe she said anything more than her original greeting and thanking me as I left. I left fairly satisfied with my nails, but now (3 days later) my nails need to be re-done. I started coming here off of a Groupon for years ago and absolutely love it. They have a great customer service great prices and I always feel relaxed. The one thing I would say is to get Wendy , Kelly, or one of the guys. My one negative would be that sometime when the two older ladies are there it gets loud. Beware and stay away! Completely unprofessional and rude staff here. I called and made an appointment for 2:20pm amd I drove 40min to this awful place. Once arriving at 2:27pm (only 7min past) I was told they gave my appointment to someone else since I decided to not show up on time and that it would be an additional 20min wait. Needless to say I was pissed and left. I called the store shortly after leaving and demanding to speak to the manager. She told me and I quote, " You showed up late we gave appointment away go away. My coworkers and I normally get our nails done once a month. We decided to stop by and this is now our go to place. It's such a welcoming environment and they are so friendly. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and offered complimentary drinks.My first experience was blah, and same for my second. I just had a bad experience with one of the nail techs. Really enjoyed my pedicure that I got here. The guy who did mine was great I'm not sure what his name was though. Nothing extremely special about this nail place, but I had a great 1st experience and will probably be back. They have a cute princess type chair for young girls getting a pedicure that is adorable. I paid $45 before tip to get gel toenails. The entire experience was very rushed (about 20min total) and the girl was really rough laughing and saying 'oh too rough?'. I had to ask for something to drink and grabbed my own menu. She sat down and could care less. The next day, one of my nails chipped and it was then I noticed she painted over my skin on some of my toes. She also had simply gone through the motions with my callus. Yes, I have callus and this is far cry from the salon I normally go to. My feet are so jagged after the pedicure they scratch the sheets. In all I could pay a 10yr old to do a better job. Sorry. Favourite nail salon by FAR! Everyone is very friendly, and the lady who did my nails, Lily, did exactly what I wanted. She helped pick out the exact shade of red I wanted (I'm very weird with colors). I told her I wanted a longish V shape, like from the 60s & they were gorgeous! The price, in my opinion, was great, i got acrylics & gel for $30. They lasted an incredibly long time, & since I'm a server I'm constantly banging my hands/nails around. I searched the web and based on positive reviews went to Nick's nails. I have been getting my nails done for over 15 years and this place was absolutely terrible. My nails never looked so bad and I was tricked into taking my existing nails off, so technician can put just powder on my real nail, she did not mentioned that she will charge me for it as well, she broke 3 of my nails while taking old powder off, so she had to add 3 tips, which also forgot to mention that I will be charged for. I left there after 3 hours (had nails and pedi done at the same time), my nails looked terrible and it costed me an arm and a leg. Never again, I will be going back! Read Less

I went to Nick's Nails because I had a coupon for 20% off. I don't get manicures, but I do get pedicures a few times a year, and I was about to go on vacation for two weeks and wanted pretty toenails. I was pleased at how easy it was to get an appointment, and when I walked in, I was also pleased with the ambiance. The parlor is beautiful and so clean I could have eaten off the floor. Other parlors have stopped offering amenities such as a drink, but I was asked if I wanted something to drink and gladly accepted my preferred drink, a bottle of water. The equipment is new and gave me a nice, unexpected back massage while I was having my pedicure. The man who worked his magic on my toenails was named Thai or Ti. Although he spoke very little English, he still got his point across with a big smile. I have had other nail parlors cut my cuticles so poorly that I bled, but Ti, Thai, or whatever his name was, was gentle and did a beautiful yet painless job. If I have any complaints that  wish the leg massage were a tad stronger, but I'm sure if I'd asked him to go deeper, he would have. I was surprised that Nick's Nails has a gift card system, too, and after a certain number of pedicures (or manicures, too, I suppose), I will get a freebie. Unexpected! Went to Nick's Nails to have a groupon manicure and pedicure.  I also paid for a gel fill.  The older lady did not speak English and did a terrible job on my nails.  She had no idea what she was doing. My nails were ruined after that.  When I left, I had red polish on my fingers and under the nail on the finger. I went back to my regular nail salon and they were shocked at my nails and how they looked, I now I have to just keep them sort for a while.  They are a mess, I will never go back there or buy a nail groupon again!!
