I had a pedicure, they handed me a sheet to choose which one I wanted. I chose a middle priced one, he asked me for $2 more if I wanted to add fragrance to my foot bath, not really sure why I said yes but I did. It ended up being  $4 more not $2, and I didn't even notice any nice fragrance... this is just shady business practice which I do not appreciate. I paid extra for a nicer pedicure for the extra massage and service. He rushed through most of the pedicure and the massage was awful. It really actually hurt , he was staring off into space and watching tv while giving the massage, rubbing really hard over my shins repeatedly. I ended up paying almost $50 when I could've paid that at a nice spa and gotten much better service. Probably won't be going back. Read Less

Terrible customer service! The guy used a dirty towel to wipe my legs. When i asked him not to use the towel on me because it smelled. He got an attitude. Then the owner was working on my nails and completely stopped working on me to start and finish the woman next to me. Never again! This place should be ashamed of them selves. Read Less

Do not go here unless you want to overpay BIG TIME. I have gone here for years just because its convenient being 5 min from my house, I have had bad experiences before but the good typically out weighed the bad, but never again will I go back. I went two weeks ago with my girlfriends. I made an appointment, I got the STANDARD pedicure ($25.00) and then I requested an acrylic set to be put on. They ignored my request and instead did the pink and white which I know is a little more expensive (only by like $10 or so), I was irritated because it wasn't what I asked for, but I kept my mouth shut to keep the peace. When we went to go pay, my total was $76.00. Someone PLEASE tell me how my nails were $76.00 when the pedicure I KNOW is only $25.00? My other two friends paid $110, and $79.00 just for a pedicure and "supposed to be" acrylic nails. Seriously, do not go here or you will get ripped off. VERY unhappy. Read Less

There was a lady who had no clue on the menu prices and they were not even on the menu. So she made up the prices and when I asked for a manager he gave me different prices than her. Her Customer Service was horrible and she rushed to do just a simple service. I would never return here EVER! I wish I would of read the comments before even giving this place a dime of my money! We showed up at opening time and had to wait for 50 minutes to get a technician. (Another woman walked out while also waiting.) Then they rushed right through us. I'm not sure the exfoliating scrub was on my legs for more than 20 seconds. I find it unreasonable that they charged $21 for a child pedi AND then another $5 to give her a heart on her big toes! The hearts looked like they were drawn by a toddler. When we sat down to dry our toes the table had no actual lights just a fan. Needless to say the $26 child pedicure was ruined by the time we got home. We will not return.Read Less

I've been coming to smart nails for almost five years. They are always friendly and attentive. They appreciate repeat customers and want you to be happy. It would be hard to find a better salon. They do a great job...the entire staff is fabulous! Love them! Read Less

The older lady that did my pedicure tried to upsell me without even looking at my feet. When I declined she proceeded with the pedicure but she was rushed and very rough. I had to tell her that she was rough. She barely massaged my feet or legs and hardly used any product. This was not a relaxing pedicure by any means. When the timer expired, she polished my nails and when done she raised the armrest and walked away. I led myself to the drying bar where she abruptly came for payment. These places are a dime a dozen and the least they should do is provide great customer service. Read Less

I just finished getting a acrylic fill in with gel polish and walked out paying over $40. In the past it has always been less than $30. I normally love the product and the people, but I will not be going back due to the miscommunication and up charges not being discussed prior to charging me. Read Less

At first I was hesitant to try this place because of  the negative reviews but decided to try it for myself and am glad I didn't let that stop me. There were several regulars that were quick to rave over Peter, Tammy and Jenny. One in particular said she'd been coming here for 12 years and has never had a bad experience. Good color selection, very clean and they even offered to stay late to accommodate a customer's color change. Overall very happy with the service and attention. I had been going to Nail Smart for a couple of years, off and on.  I hadn't been in awhile (have been trying to grow my own nails).  I went yesterday to get a new set.  I called before I came to get an appt with "Long". They said when would I be there I said 15 or 20 mins, I said I want an appt with Long.  I get there and I didn't see "Long", they sat me down with Peter.  I said, I have an appt with "Long", Peter said I always do your nails.  I said, no, "Long" does my nails.  He kept saying he does my nails, I told him several times, no "Long" always does my nails.  I was very mad.  I know who does my nails.  Needless to say, Peter did my nails.  I found out during my nails getting done, "Long" doesn't work there anymore.  I am not happy with my nails, the tip's are is too thick and very square.  Yes, I should of had him fix them, but I was so angry and mad that they never told me when I called that "Long" doesn't work there.  I would have not gone.  I am disappointed that they lie to get you in there.  It cost me $40 and I'm dissatisfied with my nails.  My daughter is getting married in a little over a week and now, I need to try to fix them to look decent.  I realize I didn't have to have them do them, my fault.  Please be aware if you go here.  My sister goes here also, but she won't be going anymore.  I will be looking for a new place. I came in with my sister for a pedicure. Like any other business would, the people there tried to up-sell us on their more expensive "callous-remover" pedicures. $5 up charge for something that comes standard with other pedicures I've had? No thank you. I went with the basic pedicure as did my sister. We received the smallest amount of scrub on our feet and legs and the lady doing my pedicure didn't say anything to me except for "pick your color" and "eyebrow wax?" She sped through my massage and even went as far as setting a timer so she would know when to be done at the exact moment to start her sloppy paint job on my toenails. Upon finishing painting in less than 2 minutes she pointed to the front of the salon for me to sit down and let my toes dry as my sister was left to start her pedicure. I felt rushed and secondary to the "regulars" that walked in after us. For $20 I should have just stayed home and done my own pedicure with my sister. I will not be back here. Very disappointing. Sign says you can only tip in cash- not on credit cards. And no personal checks. Read Less
