I went here because a friend told me how awesome they are and my regular girl just left my regular shop so I thought I'd try somewhere new. I wish I'd checked these reviews first. I got a deluxe pedicure with callous removal which is an extra 5$ and they didn't do any callous removal at all. I felt rushed the whole time. They didn't have nearly enough people working, there were 3 girls bouncing back and forth between about 7 clients. No complimentary water bottle or soda which I thought was standard. Got my ombré SNS nails and the guy could not for the life of him figure it out then left when I asked him to start over when he only did one hand . So the girl took over and kept saying how I'm complicated . Finally she finished and did great on the ombré with glitter but without glitter you could see how messed up the ombré was and she said "oh you won't notice once all the nails are done it won't stand out as much" and I said no just make it right . Add glitter bc I don't wanna notice the mess ups then at the end she did a clear coat then used a blossom oil on all the nails which wiped off the clear coat on my whole left hand -_- then I looked at my nails in the car and noticed how lumpy they were it's so ugly. They did a good job on my nails! Didn't like the chair for the pedicure (not enough massage options) and the pedicure was just OK.... nothing to write home about. Not enough massage on the feet. Minimal salts in the water, no hot towel..... They "chatted between themselves" and then looked at your feet, and chatted some more" I HATE that so much!!!! I would give them a 2 just because of that. But I thought the guy did a fabulous job on my fill of solar pink and white. So they get a 4 star. Read Less

I've been coming to this nail salon for a couple of years when it was owned and operated by Lee and his wife Helen. The new owner is the only nice person in the salon. Everyone else seems to be in a bad mood or just doesn't want to be working here. The person who did my nails today (a fill, so she was pissed right away when I didn't do a more expensive service)kept looking at everyone and everything instead of focusing on my nails. The polish job looks like a two year old dipped my fingers in a polish bottle.   I miss Helen and Lee and their great staff who were always friendly and accommodating. I'm going elsewhere. Read Less

So I'm pretty sure they have changed owners. I'm very disappointed. They said that the other people were ALL out on vacation at the same time but the story doesn't add up. They have moved everything around, changed the credit card machine to an iPad, and the one guy was telling me that I will love all of the new people. They have about six people working when the other owners only had three at most. Why would the other people leave for vacation with so many people to run thei...r place and them move everything around? Needless to say, I was very unhappy with my service. I literally sat with my feet in the water for 45 minutes (the water even turned cold) before anyone came to work on me. Then when she did she only spent 30 minutes as opposed to my usual hour. Finally met my new manicurist, Tiffany. I moved here recently from another state, and I have been to two other shops to get manicures done. Tiffany was far by the best! She spent over an hour doing my gel manicure. It's exactly what I've been used to at my other salon in Michigan. I would highly recommend this location for its cleanliness and professionalism. I got a groupon for half off a min-pedi, and I should have just paid full price elsewhere! Dont get me wrong, the staff was very nice, but I got the feeling that the person doing my nails knew very little. The first thing that got my attention is when he asked if it was ok to trim my nails. I said ok, only to watch him cut my nails completely off! Im all for trimming the nails to make them even, or even to take off rough edges but cutting them completely off really surprised me. Then when he painted my nails, the paint job was done sloppily and he never cleaned it up with nail polish remover. Not even 24 hrs later I noticed some of the paint chipping off! The only reason I gave this place a star is because the staff was nice and the place appeared to be clean. Next time I want a  mani-pedi I will definitely go elsewhere! Save ur money!!!!! Read Less

I was a groupon customer as well. My bff bought two manis and two pedis for 40 bucks for us to do to celebrate my birthday. The man who did my pedicure was not unfriendly but didn't seem friendly either. When he "scrubbed my heels", he put the block in the arch of my foot (were there are no calluses) and lightly rubbed it around in a tiny circle. He completely neglected my right heel and skimmed over my left heel. His idea of a massage was squirting the lotion on my shin and rubbing it in a tiny circle, never actually moving around to my leg muscles or my feet. My best friend noticed what a poor job he was doing and asked if he could please rub my feet at least. He did so begrudgingly. He used his sharp thumbnail to massage my foot. I had to ask him to watch it. After he finished polishing, i looked down and my nail on my right big toe was blatantly angled. He had created about a 30° angle down toward my pinky toe. I asked the man doing my mani to fix it. He filled it a bit but it was still crooked. The man who did my mani made me bleed from two different fingers. Some of the blood got mingled with the polish because he didn't properly address it before polishing. Basically, the whole experience for me was crap. I'd have preferred to pay whole price at my regular salon. I highly recommend you not go here. The decor is deceiving....it looks nice, but the people who work there are very poorly skilled. Price is affordable. The highest price for a pedicure is only $45 (Royal Pedicure) which pampers your feet with sugar scrub, foot mask, hot towels, paraffin treatment and hot stone massage. What keeps me returning here is the customer care. You will never find anywhere that is nice and friendly like this place. Read Less

I have been coming to Luxury Nails for over 3 years. My first impression of the place must have been good because I refuse to go anywhere else. I've gotten to know the staff and all of them are extremely friendly. The owner is so sweet and will go to great lengths to make sure all customers are happy. They serve beverages, they sterilize all equipment and sanitize all tubs. The cost might be a little ($2-3) above average, but you pay for what you get. Also they always have deals and specials. The owner even went so far as to get me and my girlfriends a bottle of wine when we came in for my wedding. Not to many nail salons go above and beyond like that. I love that they have so many options for getting a pedicure. Some days I just want a basic (clean up and polish) pedicure but I have the option to do the full Monty (clean up, scrub, mask, hot stone, and paraffin dip).I am always happy and feeling relaxed once I leave. I bought a groupon for a one hour massage for $39. I should have known it was too good to be true. The "massage room" was a tiny closet in the back with just enough room for the table. You could still hear all the noise from the main room where people were getting pedicures and gossiping. I waited on the hard table under scratchy sheets for a long time before the "masseuse" came in. I do not believe she was liscenced or had any training. It seemed as if they just threw a nail tech into the room and told her to rub some oil around. She clearly did not know what shd was doing. Her hands were cold, and the oil was not warm. She rubbed my back with fast, furious strokes that were in no way relaxing. It was so bad that I stopped her after a few minutes and told her that I would like to leave. I will never go back there again.  There was a sign in the room stating that "inappropriate behavior" towards the masseuse would not be tolerated. Since she was clearly unskilled and gave the massage while wearing stiletto boots - I see how someone could have gotten the wrong idea. Stay far away! Read Less
