Lisa is the best one there. The manager drills nails too hard (as others have stated) don't go to him, he rushes and it seems like he doesn't care about the health of your nails (negative one star for the experience I had with him, he is way too rough, he's the one who answers the phone there, if you walk in and he's the only one one available do yourself a favor and wait for a different technician to do your nails because your nail beds will be sore and damaged after you let him touch them, he's absolutely horrible... everyone else there besides him does a good job though). Asked them to get plastic liners for the pedicure tubs and they did, so that was good. Waxes are very good but I've seen the girls double dipping wax sticks, ask them to use a fresh wax stick every time they dip. Lisa is the best waxer and manicurist/pedicurist. Read Less

Quality Work, Focus On You, Excellent Value, Very Nice. Keeps me coming back :o) Sometimes I have to wait a few minutes ~ but I don't mind as I am always a walk in and I love the perfection of their work. It is worth the wait to me. Not impressed. Was looking for a new nail salon close by. Stopped by as a first time customer and was SENT AWAY. I was told to come back in an hour because no one could take me right now. I understand some places have a wait, but to be told to just leave is not good customer service. Went across the street to another nail salon and received excellent service. Won't be back. Read Less

I loveeee this place! I got gel nails done in the past and they came out perfect! Lasted super long! They are super nice and profesional! I feel very comfortable here I absolutely love this place! I recently got my eyebrows done by timmy( I think that's her name) and they came out on point! she took her time and heard me out when I told her about not wanting them too thin. I wish I knew the name of the adorable ladies that did my mani&pedi tonight because they were AMAZING. Love love love my nails&toes! They did a fantastic job and were sweet and talkative the whole time. the prices are really good too. Love them, I have been going since they opened some 14 years ago.  The faces don't change.  They are kind and do a super job for me and my late mom.They are now closed on Sunday's that makes it difficult sometimes to schedule, but well worth the attention that they give. Read Less

This was the best nail experience I've EVER had.  They really take their time, so you have to wait a while, but it's worth it because when they get to you they make sure it's perfect.  I used them for my wedding, and my gel nails lasted about 2 weeks, because they actually do it nice and thin, unlike other salons that lay it on thick and cause it to peel.  I will definitely return a lot.  LOVE this place.  The prices are very reasonable too! I've been going to John for my solar nails for off and on about 10yrs...maybe 12...and he is wonderful.  I almost never have cuts.  The nails look beautiful and last the 3 weeks I need the to.  I do hair, so my hands are in water and chemicals alot.  As long as I have been going and getting my nails done and my pedicures in the summer, I have never had a problem with fungus or blisters or anything.  I love everyone there. DO NOT COME HERE, VERY UNSANITARY. TONS OF ILLEGAL ACTS GOING ON. RUDE STAFF. AND THE WORK IS VERY SLOPPY. I have experience from working in a Nail & Spa during the summers as an apprentice and let me tell you this place is downright disgusting. 1. You're not supposed to use the same filers, buffers, and other disposable tools on more than one person; they are made for one time use.  If they are going be cheap they should at least wash the tools to show they somewhat care. They literally used the same filer and buffer on me right after the last person that was there, all chalky and white. 2. I have not seen them sanitize their metal tools either. I have been cut in the process of getting solar nails and my friend who was with me was also cut. Imagine how many other clients have been cut. This can spread bloodborne pathogens, fungus, or god knows what else..  that we shouldn't have gotten in the first place. 3. When I did get cut, the woman didn't say sorry or asked me if it hurt, she just wiped it with the PAPER towel underneath my hands like nothing happened and it really stung this is very unprofessional  (most places use actual towels too). 4. Nails looked NOTHING close to what I wanted. And then the woman kept telling me that IS what I wanted when I know that was NOT what I wanted - I had the picture right next to me comparing and asked multiple people, all agreed with me, including the staff. Yeah, it's just you. 5. When I asked the staff what I could do to make the nails look more like the picture (which were very natural looking nails, not white sharp tips which is what I had but faded and clear ivoryish tips-- she literally just gave me a basic french solar nails with the brightest white.) they said we'd have to start over because she used the wrong power color and made the french EXTREMELY OBVIOUS. ---- But I didn't want to upset the woman so I just asked if we could at least polish the nails with a coat of light pink to make the white less obvious. She came at me VERY ANGRY. She kept telling me that IS what I wanted. That IS the picture. Trying to convince me that I am wrong. She was cursing in Viet to the staff making me feel uncomfortable.. I kindly asked her if I could at least try on a coat on one nail and see how it looks. She grabbed my hands very harshly still cursing and throwing them back at me messing up the polish like she wanted to initiate something. I didn't say anything I justed wanted out of there. 6. After we decided to polish all of the nails she told me that it looked very ugly and she didn't know what I was thinking. She also told me she is getting a tip and next time I should know what I want. I also want to add this minor detail while we're at it: before she got angry with me, she also told me I should get my eyebrows done.. When I said "I am growing them out, no thank you" she just kept staring at my eyebrows making me feel super uncomfortable almost pressuring.7. FINALLY, paying, she kept demanding the tip and asking if its cash BEFORE she even told me the price of the nails. I asked her the price and when she told me the price, she said she added on $3 for the polish.. As a professional you should tell someone before you do something it is going to cost $__.__. AND it was HER error in the first place. Paying for someone's errors is unacceptable and it still wasn't what I wanted. VERY unhappy with this visit will NEVER come again. Please go elsewhere. I 100% guarantee this place would get shut down if it  got investigated right now. Read Less

I came into this nail salon during a busy time. I was told the wait would be somewhere between 10-20 minutes which seemed a little too good to be true...and it was. I ended up waiting in the "reception" area for 30 minutes after which they moved me to a pedicure chair to just sit there....no water to soak my feet in, nor a remote to the chair to even get a massage. I sat there ignored for ANOTHER 30 minutes (1 hour total wait time) before finally standing up and getting ready to leave at which point one of the girls announced that she would be with me in 10 minutes, that she's just finishing up with a customer. After telling her that she could take her time and I was not interested after being ignored and made to wait  for so long without even a heads-up, I left. I will NOT be returning to this establishment and I would NOT RECOMMEND this nail salon to anyone. Yes they do decent work (decent, not great nor exceptional) and I used to get my nails done here all the time when home from college, but they most definitely lost my business after their exceedingly unprofessional attitudes and exceedingly lacking approach to customer satisfaction. Had they told me it was an hour or so wait time I would have simply made an appointment and gotten some errands done in the mean time. Instead I ended up with no manicure, no pedicure, and a wasted hour on a jam packed Saturday. This establishment is rude and unapologetic in how they treat customers and personally I believe that there are tons of other places who do better work and have a much better attitude than CT Nails. Unfortunately, I didn't even get to see if this was a good salon. My mom was visiting me around the holidays, and I made a Saturday 10am appointment for manicures for both of us, as we had a busy day planned. We got there at 10am and the salon was dark. We went up to the door but nobody was there. After waiting in the parking lot for 10 minutes (searching on Yelp for another nail salon) nobody came. We finally saw the lights come on as we were pulling out of the parking lot, but there is no way we were going in there after that. No one ever called me to follow up on the appointments. This is such a shame because this salon is so close to my house. I ended up finding another salon that day (USA Nails) that I absolutely love, so I'm thankful for that. Read Less

CT nails has been my favorite nail salon for years now! They always doa  thorough job, they have good conversation and they make sure you are happy with the final result! Also the prices are great! My favorite part of all is that they actually give you a lengthy leg massage, unlike the more expensive nail salons. Everyone knows me by name there. They work so hard there and deserve a great tip!The ONLY con, is that when you book an appointment, they don't save the seat so that when you come in it's ready. Often, because they are usually so busy you have to wait about 10-15 min for an open chair, otherwise everything else is AWESOME! Read Less

Sadly I came here because of the high reviews but was pretty disappointed. The gentlemen who helped me was very "go go go". He got up periodically while filling my nails to help other customers. Where's the receptionist? It took 15 minutes to be seen and then to get periodically ignored? My nails look bad to boot! I just wanted to get them filled and he cut them so short. And it left weird creases under the new nail. It was just pitiful. I will not be coming back here. Read Less

Great pedicure! Traveling takes it's toll on my piggys, and going to a place I've no recommendation to go is scary....I mean really sometimes these places freak me out, but with only a few YELP reviews I was hesitant, but for my moms birthday there's 5 of us getting pedis so I decided to come.  What a great bunch of ladies!! Super friendly and we laughed during the times we weren't trying to keep the drool from falling from our relaxed faces.....I recommend the DELUXE, because for $7 more you get a leg rub that is worth more than that!! Since moving to the area, I've been on the hunt for a go-to nail salon.  I've tried about half a dozen, to no avail.  None have  measured up to my salon in Smyrna. But frankly, I'm tired of driving a half hour for manicures.Having read Yelp reviews for CT, I decided to give them a shot ---  and yay!  They do a much better job than their local competitors.  And the other reviewers are right:  the clinicians are friendly!You might want to check this salon out.   (Note that they accept Visa and MasterCard, not American Express.) I decided to go to this nail salon because of reviews on here  however I was disappointed when I got there. The place was dirty, they didn't clean out the tub between clients and it was very warm in there. The girls were very nice but didn't look clean - one tech spit her gum out in the garbage can while she was doing a pedicure; one kept sneezing and not putting her hands over her mouth and nose. I should have walked out but didn't - didn't like being begged to come back either. Prices were inexpensive but I would have paid more to have felt better about the experience.  I will continue my search for a quality nail salon. Read Less

I've never ever had a service at CT nails that I wasn't completely satisfied with. I am a pretty frugal gal so when I want to splurge once in a while on my nails and not do them myself, this is the place I go. I've tried other places closer to my house, but they up-charge so much and don't do nearly as good of a job. Also, since I prefer to save my money, if Im going to dish out money for a luxury, you bet I want it to look exceptional. I live in Canton, but still come over here to get my nails done. Fabulous place!  I've been going to Z Nails (in the Publix shopping center) for a few years, but I tried CT Nails for a change.  WOW !!!  Their prices were soooo much less, they actually truly did listen to what I wanted, they cared, and they took the time to do the manicure I asked for !  Never realized how bad and overpriced Z Nails was until I went to CT Nails!  Ask for Kim - she is truly sweet and does GREAT nail art design !
