The reason for the low rating is due to the speed of the pedicure. When I pay to get a pedicure, I expect the amount of time spent to be pretty long... 45 minutes to an hour... I paid for the more expensive pedicure and it only lasted about 25 minutes from start to finish... and unfortunately, I still had rough skin on the bottom of my feet. I don't review things very often but thought Blush deserved a review and since there are so many women out there trying to find that "right" nail salon... I was extremely impressed with Blush Nail Bar. They squeezed me in when I didn't have an appointment. Phalla was fantastic and did my nails absolutely perfect!! They look amazing! Only reason I am giving this is a two instead of one is because they did a great job on ACRYLIC nails when I asked for SNS. I was charged for the SNS price but they CLEARLY put acrylic on my nails. I am not happy at all as they are marketing that they do SNS but it is the same powder and technique used for acrylic. They are extremely over priced as well. I absolutely love this salon! I have really bad social anxiety and simple trips to the salon usually make me so nervous I feel sick, but it is impossible to feel anything but comfortable here. All of the technicians are friendly and professional. My nails are perfect every time! Emilee does an amazing job and is always very patient whenever I'm trying to choose my colors or if I have a billion questions. Loved the place, the people, the cleanliness. Everyone was super nice and not to stereotype, but everyone spoke English so it was easy to understand what they were saying/asking and they understood what I was asking. You didnt have anyone talking about you in a different language while they painted your toes. I loved the experience. Me and my sister went for the first time less than a week ago and got gel french tip and solid white and it started chipping yesterday, :( So I'm going to call them today to see what they can do. That will be the real test for this place. Ben is THE BEST. I go to get a gel manicure every two to three weeks and always request my appointment to be with Ben. His attention to detail is what made me keep coming back. He takes every finger and lines it up with the same finger on the other hand to make sure they are the same length. He holds your hand up so he can file each nail straight. The nail is always completely polished and he doesn't miss the sides, like some people do. He is great! Blush is so clean and doesn't have a strong scent like most nail salons. First of all, this place is absolutely gorgeous.  Very boutique-ish, not like a typical nail place.  Even the seating is cute and comfortable. The nail techs are the sweetest I've met at any nail place I've been to.  They really make it a point to know your name and make conversation with you.  The staff give this place an extremely positive atmosphere, which is one of the most fun things about the shop. Not only are the techs nice, but they are very good at what they do.  The lady who worked on my nails took a long time working to get the shape of my nails perfect, which I much prefer over traditional shops which take forever and still do sloppy work. Getting my acrylics filled-in only took an hour, compared to the 1.5/2 hours that I am used to, and they turned out so much better than usual!I highly recommend calling and making an appointment.  I called at 10 am on a weekday and made an appointment for that evening, so you don't have to make it far in advance, just a day or two.  They do take walk-ins, but their space is small and they had to turn away a few walk-ins while I was in.  Also, there is absolutely no wait time if you make an appointment.  Tl;dr: I highly recommend this place.  They are speedy, and amazing at what they do. Had high hopes, as it is right next door to my favorite barber, but was very disappointed.  My wife went for a manicure and was greeted very nicely.  It started out great; however, the quality of work was very poor and extremely disappointing.  My wife's nails were cut at a slant and the gel polish left white tips on multiple fingers.  In short, this shop has the atmosphere, but lacks skilled nail artists.  I would recommend you skipping this location, as there are many other shops with a higher quality. My review is based on my experience as a first time costumer. Everyone is very nice! They are very friendly. Very friendly place. I give it 3 stars because of the service and the price. My nail technician was super nice but I don't think she was very experience with doing acrylics. Even tho I love the designed I chose, I did not and do not like how they came out. Some nail lengths are shorter than others. I asked for refill coffin and I basically got short square. Some are crooked some are very thin. The price for my refill I think it was too high. It suppose to be $25 but some how it went up to $45 because of a few jewels on 2 nails. My friend also got her nails done and I feel like she was way over charged. Paid $60 for acrylic and gel coat and some jewels. We went to get our eyebrows done at another place and they said they would charge $45 for her nails and $35 for mine. I will give them another try maybe with another technician and hopefully they tell me the price first before any work is done. I did before but they said they didn't know and that it depended on the ail technician but she never told neither of us how much. Read Less

I have been about 6-7 times now before writing my review to give an honest (not a one time experience) review. I LOVE this salon.I used to go to a "normal" nail salon in kennesaw where you would walk in and be told a "few" minutes and wait 45 minutes, even with an appt.This is not a normal nail salon. If you walk in, they are honest enough to tell you if it's super busy, you'd be waiting. I appreciate that kind of business. Not to mention, they all know me by name and all make sure to make conversation with their customer, not just each other. I love a personalized experience! Everyone is so sweet and does their job well! If you aren't happy with something, they will do whatever they need to do to correct it.Lastly, they do an awesome job. I've never been unhappy with my nails and it's the one thing I'm truly obsessed with. I try to get them done every two weeks because I hate for them to look bad. When you first walked in, you are greeted by their lovely and sweet owner (I am guessing). To the right of the shop is their nail “bar,” which is an actual bar table with seats underneath. The bar is where you get your nails painted and is a chic area where they display some products from OPI that they have for sale. The shop is also decorated in lovely warm colors and features beautiful wood throughout the entire salon. The salon is also very clean.Food/Beverages: N/A Service: I forgot the name of the nice and funny lady that did my nails, but she did any amazing job. Ladies, I am VERY picky about my nails and nail polish. I judge all salons based on 2 criteria. The polish of the nail and the procedure that they do to fill in my nails. I have been getting my nails done for over 8 years and have become accustomed to the procedure that should be done when you have your nails filled in or are getting a full set. By full set, I mean acrylic/ gel powder, with tips or no tips. You can have a full powder set without the nails tips, which I think are called powder overlays. This is where they put the powder on your real nails, instead of adding the tips to extend the length of your nails. Unfortunately, I was not blessed with naturally long and strong nails. So, I am going to give a basic rundown of the full set procedure that should be done by an experienced and knowledgeable technician. Some technicians might not do all of these in the same order which is alright, but all of these areas should be done by the end of the service. First, she buffs down your reals nails, or soaks off your pre existing old powder set. Here is where they gently file your nails down and then applies the tips and asks you for the desired shape and length of your nails. After, they apply this liquid weird thingy that is supposed be a protectant for your nails. Second, they cut the tips and files to the desired shape, where they put on the powder and buffs, buffs, away. This is where the magic happens and where you can distinguish between a veteran or noob. A veteran should be able to buff away the powder without any pain or cutting your cuticles. I am stating this because I have had those things happen to me and believe me they are not pleasant at all! After she shapes and buffs the nails, the technician has a pointy tip tool the goes under the nail and cleans the glue and extra powder. This step makes a huge difference because it gets rid of all the bulky gunk that is under your nails and allows your nails to feel clean and fresh. This is also my favorite part. After all the buffing and shaping is done, this is where the gel or polish is applied. I stated that I am very picky when it comes to polish. I will either come back or not, due to this one factor. Gel polish is not as easy as it seems (believe me I have tried to paint my own gels). Gel polish tends to run a bit more than regular nail polish and if a nail tech can polish my gel without having it hit my cuticles or runoff, is a definite winner in my book! Sometimes it can run off a little, but that is usually ok if they clean it with some acetone and their little brush. Overall: I loved the atmosphere, decor, and the sweet friendly staff. I will definitely be back to Blush the next time that I need a fill-in. I have NO idea how this place has such rating and reviews, I shouldn't have trusted them. My pedicure came out horrible. Clearly the guy who did it, was blind... Or just needed some glasses, a 5 year old could have done a better job clipping my nails. Not to mention I requested clear nail polish and they stuck my feet in plastic sandwich bags (they even called them that) when I was done to prevent "smudges" and the bags (as I predicted) got stuck on my nails and left marks on them... So disappointed. A waste of money. I will never go back and will be sure to tell others to avoid it.Don't know how to reply to your comment so adding this on here. First, I didn't wait 4 days to post the review because I wanted to, I specified that I had to be in downtown in one hour and that is because I was going on a business trip and didn't have the time to post the results of the horrible job done on my feet. Second, I never said I wanted to put my shoes on! Your business did not offer the to-go pedicure sandals every salon has - instead I was told to put on the sandwich bags and I asked are you sure?! And you said yes, you can put your shoes with that, it won't smudge. (Lies). Third, I also specified I wanted clear nail polish before the gentleman began my pedicure, therefore he should have made sure the filing would go accordingly. Absolutely LOVE this salon. Cleanliness is super important to me and the salon was spotless. The workers and owners were so attentive and friendly. They have great prices. They usually have great specials going on as well. The decor of the salon is a plus! So modern and so BLUSH. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone in the area. Will be back for sure!
