This was my first time visiting this nail salon. I normally go to one closer to my home, but I was getting a spray tan at the tanning salon next door...so I figured, why not!? I was told upon entry that it would be about ten minutes, and that time estimate was accurate. I had my nails done by a woman named Misun Cho (I believe I'm spelling that correct but I apologize if not). She was very sweet, and extremely detailed. This meant my nails took longer than usual, but I can honestly say that they have never been done better. I had my pink & whites removed and an acrylic nail applied in a longer length, coffin shaped and painted with gel polish in ballet pink. Which is the perfect pinky nude!! My total was $56 and I tipped her generously. I honestly think the price was well worth the time, effort, and outcome! I'll definitely be switching my normal nail salon to here. I haven been coming to Big Apple for years now and I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience. The staff is so friendly and they keep a very sanitary facility. Today I got a gel manicure done by Ashley. She has such a sweet and bubbly personality that makes the experience so great! She was able to take my Black SNS off and replace it with pink gel. She did a great job in a very timely manner. I have gotten pretty much everything here-- from a pedicure to eyebrow wax and I can't think of a single complaint! Had my eyebrows waxed and one eyebrow was missing about 1/3 of the brow and I suppose the tech bought I wouldn’t notice as she was holding the mirror a tad far from my face. I was almost in tears when I complained about my eyebrow to the lady cashing me out. Her comment was “well...we will not charge you”. I replied with “I would hope not!” She responded “”it will grow back”. I was furious from that statement and have not and will not ever go back. Just let me say it took almost 6 months to grow back and it didn’t grow back completely. Very disappointed in the whole experience and lack of concern from this establishment. I will tell everyone I can to prevent the same thing from happening to them. I tried one or two other places that were okay but didn’t love them in the area before going to the next plaza over to Lamour nails. They did a nice job on my brows! Read Less

Just moved to Woodstock. First time here and it was excellent. Angie did my nails and I love her work. Neck and shoulder massage at end, along with a coconut hand wash and hot towel was an added touch! Great price for all that and my gel fill with gel polish! Will definitely go back. Read Less

Can here last year. I got my nails done while my mom got a pedicure. She had amazing service. Me however.... the manager was very rude and constantly angry with her workers and clients. They were really not that busy but the manager was acting like she was really stressed and shuffling around three different employees to do my nails. Basically each nail looked different and not good. When it was her turn to do my nails she kept nicking me with the electric file since she kept looking up and telling the other employees what to do. They also charged 5 more dollars just because I wanted a coffin shape. I’d never go back here. Read Less

This place was awesome! I got a SNS French Manicure with Tips and a French Pedicure (Standard) for only $80! I came in around 9:30am and the place was empty, but it quickly filled up and there was a wait. I would recommend either walking in early or making a appointment. Both my sister and I made an appointment for both gel manicure & pedicures. 2 1/2 hours later, both of us we're leaving with horribly done manicures. My sisters was bad enough for the manager to give her a full refund. She blamed mine on glitter polish. That's when we noticed I was charged $5 more for my manicure, when I asked why there was an extra charge? The manger told me they CHARGE $5 to soak off your previous manicure. I have been getting gel manicures for 7 years and I have NEVER been charged for soaking the old polish off. This is just a shady charge from an already overpriced salon. Read Less

AMAZING, first visit here. My husband had a game at Etowah High School and I came here. Had a 9:30 appointment and they took me early. The ladies are super nice and very knowledgeable!! Best pedicure I have ever had. Get the milk and honey!!!  Worth every penny!!! Read Less

Big Apple Nail & Spa did a great job when I had a broken thumb nail. Originally I chose this nail salon because they were the first one open at 9am.  I was instantly greeted upon arrival and explained my nail injury.  The young lady manning the front desk insurance me that my nail can be fixed and I would no longer feel any pain/discomfort.I chose to have a manicure and pedicure, since my broken nail would have to be colored due to work needed to save it. The nail service was great! Vicky took her time and she did a great job with my injured nail.  My skin was left very smooth and soft all the oil treatments.  The price might be a little pricey, but in the time I was there, I had about 5 messages.I would recommend this location. This has been my go to nail place for about 4 years. They are very professional, clean, and busy!! I am the worst about calling ahead, however I would recommend it here. There is a reason they stay busy.They do a great job with gel manis, pedis, and waxing. I'm extremely picky about getting my eyebrows waxed but they do an excellent job! Prices are good. Try the Milk & Honey pedicure which comes with a divine hot stone massage. They use individual packaging for tools and also have liners in the tubs for your feet. Very important imo. Read Less

Called ahead just to be sure they could take me & it was all n all a great experience. My manicurist Sophia was lovely and very attentive to my every whim (no I wasn't being high maintenance).  It was a chilly day and when I said so and she brought me a towel for my legs (in shorts)...a kind soul. Even got a bothersome callous I've had for a while the last manicurist I tried missed. She even massaged my shoulders when I sat to allow my toes to dry. All the ladies were very nice. Busy place but I can see why. Everyone seemed very happy & they had returning customers throughout my visit. The young lady that did my manicure even went so far as to talk to the baby, hand her toys, and make her laugh all while working on my nails. She worked very quickly without making a single mistake.
