My 1st visit and unfortunately my last. The receptionist was not friendly. What a way to start a visit. The assigned tech, did not understand my request. Some how a polish change 'only' turned into a manicure. In the middle of the service she allows another tech to paint me; apparently she was new. I requested gel polish over my natural nail. The polish is so thick, and uneven, looks like I have mini hills with polish residue on skin around my nails. I should have paid attention the stars in relation to the other salons in the area. Gave them a chance but am done. Other reviewers are right about unprofessional. The owners are continually going around checking who's doing what service and charging with master sheet. This is uncomfortable for customers and makes them look grubby. Perhaps a technician cheated them, you do what you have to, but you can make it less obvious. Tina and CC are excellent technicians but Amanda is lazy. She uses the drill to the point that she burns your nails and had drawn blood on cuticles. No wonder my nails are now even more paper thin. She did a poor job on sns nails, little better on redo. She slaps on oil barely looking so she oiled the knuckle on my pinky, not the cuticle and there's no lotion at all, so forget about anything else. I tip well but forget it. I'm not wasting another cent on a sub-par job. Another much older lady did my pedicure once before and it was a complete waste of time. The polish lasted but there was virtually no effort to remove calloused areas of foot even though I paid $30. I had to go home and use my own tools the next day when it became obvious what a poor job she did. Save your $$$ and aggravation, go somewhere else. Tina amd CC deserve better. THIS IS THE WORST SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! I will NEVER go to Nail Service & Spa, on Lavista Road again. The girl that did my nails, Amanda, rushed through my manicure. She pretty much just dipped my fingers in the bowl of water, then prepped my nails for gel polish. When she finished she was in such a hurry that she didn’t bother to roll my sleeves up for the lotion and massage part. She got lotion on my sleeves. I stopped her so that I could roll them up, since she was in such a hurry. My nails were not smooth and I ended up having another lady to fix one of them for me. However, that wasn’t the worst part. When I went to get my pedicure, this girl named Niko came over to do it for me. She seemed a little grumpy, so I asked her how she was doing and If she was having a good day. She said yes. She rushed through my pedicure....like 10-12 minutes and she was getting ready to polish (it wasn’t even crowded in the salon at that point). I had already told Amanda that I was getting the same color for my hands and feet. She sent over a completely different color. I told Niko that the color I wanted was in the basket at the station where I got my nails done. She snatched the basket she originally brought me, got the correct one and threw it in my lap........ I told her not to worry about finishing because I was leaving. The lady sitting across from me was in shock because she saw what happened. I got up went to the manager/owner and told her what happened. She and her son, John apologized for Niko’s behavior. The owner said, “she’s never acted like this before. I’m sooo sorry. She has women problem.” Adding insult to injury, the owner was still going to charge me full price for a half done gel manicure!!! I walked into the salon to get eyelashes installed. I asked for individual lashes. The price was listed at $65 which is how much I pay in NYC with a groupon. After researching in Atlanta the prices are comparable. I continued to ask the technician if this was the appropriate service to which she assured me it was. Before she began to install I told her the lash size I usually get, in which she assured me that it was the same and the lashes wouldn't be too long on me. As she began to install, I noticed the tech applying the lashes with one set of tweezers. I told questioned her technique and told her I'm used to them being applied with two tweezers. She told me it is the same, she just applies them differently.I paid for the service because the signs said I had to.As an experienced technician she knew what service I actually wanted, but continued to reassure me that service was what she was providing. I asked her to remove them as I was dissatisfied with them and she became angry telling me why i shouldn't remove them. she ultimately told me she wasn't refunding my money and I told her I actually just wan the lashes off. she then proceeded to inform me I needed to come back the next day, as she had other clients to take care of. Second time visiting today, after I decided I would make them my nail salon home... My first visit was great but this visit wasn't, they tried to overcharge me today and maybe because I was a little dressed up coming from work... A lady with highlights did the minimum as for as my pedicure, it was not good.. Paid extra for the pedicure because i wanted a good one but didn't receive that... She gives me almost like a key of nails to pick my color, next thing I know they are trying to charge me $40 for a fill in because they said they used gel polish that I didn't ask for... One repair nail and a fill in for $40 so my bill was almost $80 just for a pedicure and fill in??? When I came two weeks ago and got a pedicure and full set it was under $50... If they pull this again, I will not come back!! I will mos def ask for prices before I start the next time.... They seem to want to up-charge and overcharge... The older lady even told me the charge an extra $5.00 for for fill in on long nails so I paid $ 22 for a full set two weeks ago and now $22 for a fill in?? Who's going to pay that for a fill in, when there is a nail salon on every corner, reasonable and ready for your business... The don't have their prices up front on the wall, I suggest get the prices for services up front because they are on a mission here... Read Less

I've been coming here for 10 years and I love this place. I always send them clients because people are always asking about my nails. Nina is my favorite nail tech she knows what I like. They asked me 10 times what I was there for. Was there for over two hours. I told them I wanted my daughter's nails and toes polished, a fill for me and polish change on my toes. They only polished my daughter's nails. I told them when I first sat down to change the polish on my toes first so that they would be try by the time my nails were done. They didn't listen. I was there for two hours. I will be going back to my original nail tech 45 mins away from me.Then after the lady swiped my card, she wouldn't give it to me and I had to call the police. I went to get the gel nails and it chipped the next day. I went back to repair the chipped nails and charged for the repair. Mind you, according to this facility, gel nails last 12 days. I went to another facility to remove the polish and they told me it was just regular polish and that's why it chipped so bad. I paid full price gel nails for a crappy service. I will never go back! I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS SHOP FOR YEARS AND STILL GO EVEN THOUGH I HAVE MOVED A FEW MORE MILES AWAY. THEY HAVE RECENTLY EXPANDED THE SHOP AND PUT IN A GREAT FOUNTAIN ETCHED GLASS WATERFALL THINGY THAT SITS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE PEDI CHAIRS!! THE CHAIRS THEMSELVES ARE GREAT AND EASY TO GET IN AND OUT OF. I ALWAYS GET A PEDI AND A WAX. BOTH ATTENDANTS ARE GREAT NO MATTER WHO I SEE AND I NEVER FEEL BELITTLED AS SOMETIMES HAPPENS IN OTHER SHOPS I HAVE VISITED. IT IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY TIDY AND IT ALWAYS SMELLS WONDERFUL. EVERYONE IS SO NICE AND THE PRICES ARE FAIR EXCELLENT FOR THE SERVICE. THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT CHOICES FOR PEDICURES AND THEY RANGE FROM ABOUT 18-38$ I THINK. I LOVE THE ROYAL WITH HOT ROCK MASSAGE!!! THEY EVEN DO A LIL NAIL ART ON YOUR TOE FOR FREE!!!! The people were nice enough and very grateful for my business, the music was very soothing, and the service was pleasant, but I can't get past seeing a large insect in the spa chair next to mine.
