My absolute favourite place to get ANYTHING done, I never used to stick with just one place, but I went here for the first time a few months ago and was astonished by the service I got, everyone is SO nice there, I went there for a mani and pedi and also to get my eyebrows threaded (it was a treat day) I was expecting a very big bill at the end as I got gel nails (and they use REAL stuff here, not just the powder as at other places I've been) and it was extremely reasonable. Before, I used to go here all the time (I'm talking 5-6 years loyalty). Overtime, I dont know what exactly changed but I did see a lot of new staff starting which is great but the service just went lower and lower each time I went back. Things I've noticed over time are listed out below:A). Quality of work is not that great. For example, when I say I want "Short and Square" shaped nails - I get long and round edges. That's not what I asked for. Or, I will ask for acrylic gel nails (overlay) with white powder and they put on Pink powder and now I'm being charged for Pink which is more expensive than white. B). Quality again - For example, I just went back last weekend (hasn't even been 1 week) and my thumb and right ring finger nails chipped off. I have not done any crazy activity/outing. The thumb actually chipped off the very next day and the ring finger I noticed today which is what sparked me to really write out my review now.C). The wait time is ridiculous nowadays. I waited over an hour and not once did they even ask what I'm here for. I just filled out my name like I'm at a doctors office and sat and waited. There is no sense of personality now. No one cares to talk properly or really even listen to what the client wants. D). Again to the Quality piece. I had red colored gel nails on from a different nail salon and I went to Eden nails for my fill ins. The lady just removed the color from the top and didnt bother to THOROUGHLY remove my nail color from the sides of my nails. I then told her that I want short nails. USUALLY everyone I have been to, they shorten your nails after they put on your acrylic powder and then they trim it with their machine. This woman put on acrylic powder, did not make it even throughout my nails and then used a nail clipper to cut my nails shorter. Anyone knows if you do this, it causes air to enter that small opening when they cut your nail with a nail cutter and lifts that acrylic bed up making it more susceptible to crack and that's EXACTLY what happened to me.... AGAIN. Their quality has seriously declined now. I'm just overall dissatisfied with their service now & their selection is VERY limited. I'd much rather spend $30-40 on fill ins at Piedmont nail bar and get free wine and other drinks and feel like I matter. That personal connection is at Piedmont Nail bar for me. Sorry Eden. Exceptional service from all the staff, always! Their pedicures are the best I've ever had in my life and their facials are outstanding. Prices reflect their work, sanitation and precision and there is definitely no complaints there. Their laser hair removal is amazing as well they have the best prices in the city. Best nail salon I've ever been to. They have two sides to the salon. A spa side where the chairs lean back and it more of a spa experience, It costs $5 more for this side also.) and a regular side.All the people that work there do good jobs and pay attention to detail.I love this place mostly because of the foot massage they give you, can you say out of this work!
