I went in tonight with my 6yr old daughter, she got a pedicure. I got a shellac mani & regular pedicure. The girls were very nice & did a good job. I have been here a lot mostly taking my daughter to get her nails done b/c they’ve been nice & it isn’t expensive to take her. Tonight I gave this place another chance after a horrible experience this summer, when I went up to pay my total was $95 for just the both of us! Previously I had taken my daughter, her friend & myself $95... was my total for all 3 of us getting mani/pedi’s. $25+ for my 6yr olds pedicure! I have never been charged that much anywhere, especially there. It’s always been $10, when I questioned it she pretended to not understand me & then ignored me. Prior to today I would have given them five stars but I just overheard my mom's nail lady whisper to her that people in the shop think I'm mean because apparently I don't smile enough. I have gone a couple of times and the staff there are fantastic. However I have been very disappointed with the past few visits. I think the owners may need to figure out a way to deal with clientele management. It is amazing to be able to say yes to all your walk-ins but the customers that make appointments deserve priority.I suggest figuring out how many staff you have, and notice how many appointments you have. Figure out how much time you need per each person and then set people up in 15 minute increments. The day I went, I could see the stress on the staff of how busy it was and if they can get a handle on timings and clientele management I think it might be able to go faster and smoother. A pedicure and gel nail fill should not take more than an hour and a half. Read Less

I have been very disappointed the last couple of times I have been to Silvernails. Today was no exception and I waited for 50 minutes for a pedicure as the water got cooler and cooler. I arrived on time at 11:30 and left at 2:15 PM still with no topcoat on one toe! I need to find another place to get my nails done! Read Less

Every time I go to Silver Nails, I leave more impressed than ever! They always make time for walk-ins and are the friendliest staff ever! I had a beautiful shellac manicure and pedicure done and I can't stop looking at my nails! The designs are gorgeous! Amazing art! I had a wonderful foot and hand massage too, which was the cherry on top! One of the ladies even went out of her way to help me put my shoes on after my mani/pedi so I didn't damage my nails! I went here today for a new set of pink and whites.  This is a family owned and operated shop and my nails were done by JoAnne.  Her husband Henry also does nails here.The shop is quite clean and the pedicure seats and tubs looked great (I'll be trying them out next time).I moved here from California so I am basing my rating off of what I am used to.1.  My application went quickly and I got the correct length and shape that I wanted.  I like longer nails and I like them very square.    2.  They have several shades of pink.  I was able to get a very pink shade without it being overly dark.3.  The gel finish was applied flawlessly... there are no little bumps or grooves - something that drives me insane!Cons:  I saw someone else getting their eyebrows done here and I don't think that will be a service I will try here as the technician double dipped into the wax and that is just gross and unsanitary.
