I can't believe this place got 4 stars. If I could rate zero stars I would. This is a ghetto salon. The reviews must have come from friends and family members.  This is an honest non-biased review.  I chose to go to this salon based on the reviews which turned out to be the worst salon experience ever.  I spoke to the owner TJay to schedule an appointment for Saturday. She told me about their sew in special for $100. I told her I wanted a bob sew-in but I need my hair washed. My appointment time was 3pm so I arrived at 2:50. I was greeted and my hair was washed by another stylist around 320.  An hour later I was directed to different stylist to braid my hair but TJay wanted to see the pic of the style I wanted, which is a bob with detailed cut and curls. She them told me my 2 packs of Saga Remy hair was not going to be enough. She directed me to go back to the beauty supply store and get 3 packs of cheaper hair like Milky Way and a closure.  I was stunned because I get bobs all the time and 2 packs is all I need.  Anyway I went back to the beauty supply store which took like another hour.  When I get back to the salon, I have to wait again.  About 30mins later she directed back to the stylist that was going to braid my hair before.  The braiding took forever because the stylist was a newbie. After this ordeal she was directed to put this awful peppermint oil in my hair and I set under the dryer for 30 mins.  This oil was so strong my eyes was watery.  After about 30 mins this was finish so what was next, nothing I had to sit and watch TJay and her crew jungle many clients at one time.  Around 8 or 9 she started on my head.  I'm really angry, tired, and hungry at this point.  I wanted to leave but really need my hair done for the 4th.  So there are still 4 ladies left in the shop for sewins. When TJay got to me she starting a track then she asked her assistant to take over while she worked on someone else's head.  But the assistant could only finish tracks, TJay didn't not want her to start any. So when her assistant finished She had to wait on TJay came back over to my head to start a track.  This went on for hours.  I've never witnessed such foolery.  I had a total of 5 peoples hands in my head and I didn't leave this place until after 1am. To make matters worst my hair looked nothing like the picture I showed her.  My bob was thick like a wig and I was thinking to myself I could have bought a Dora the Explorer wig at the beauty supply shop. So I asked her to cut more detailed, feather or something.  I still wasn't satisfied but I was ready to go. Ok so when I checked out with my VISA card my total was initially 165 which was a rip off  because I was told $100 plus 15 for shampoo.  On top of that her Iphone card swiper charges the customer tax so my total was $175.  Shes too cheap to pay the taxes so her customers won't have to pay extra. And to make matters worst I spend $25 dollars on extra hair that she didn't even use.  This was the worst experience ever and a waste of $300.  No one should have to be in a salon for 11 hours. On top of that this is a ghetto salon.  The owner TJay is very unprofessional and rude to most of her workers.  All I heard was profanity and loud music for 11 hours.  Never again will I visit this salon. Ok, I love Tjay and her crew, quick fast and in a hurry for me is a must, and thank God for Lashane, for that. I appreciate being able to get in and out quickly,  while looking good doing it.!  So next time you need to look like a Superstar, go see the lady Star maker.. She is on the Ball! Read Less

The service is great. All the stylist do whatever it takes to make their customers happy. They are really good with also taking care of your natural hair. I love this shop and I recommend them to everybody. Let me not forget the prices are THE BEST!!!!! Read Less

Wanda is a great stylist. The salon is well put together and is lively and inviting. We found them on styleseat and have been visiting here since summer. We plan on continuing getting my sons locs retwisted here. Great salon!! Read Less
