Just came in for a walk in! The wait time wasn’t too bad, but it was totally worth it. I came in with a photo of a darker chrome nail, and my nail stylist gave me something super unique based off of it! I absolutely love the unicorn chrome color she chose, and it reminds me of the pretty iridescent wings of a beetle! She was so gentle, and took her time with everything. Let me preface this review by saying that I have been a patron for at least the last 6 years. That said, the management has always been consistent though lately the service has been slacking. My nail tech's name is Wendy and she is fantastic. I have always been able to call and get an appointment with her, but lately that has changed. The last two times I have made an appointment, I have been told that she can only do either my manicure or pedicure, but not both because of appointments following mine. Only to find out that she was, in fact, NOT booked and handled both of my services during my visit. The problem is that the management of this salon does not hire enough trained workers to do more complicated nail services, i.e. SNS, gel nails or overlays. Management's method to remedy this is to "phantom book" the more skilled techs during busier hours. This policy doesn't make sense long term. They are forcing their established clientele to deviate from years-long established routines and relationships.  If this practice does not change, I will have to "break-up" with Wendy and move on. Usually I would go into immense detail, but my experience here was so embarrassingly bad for the business that I don't have the heart to go into every last detail. Let's just say that my nails turned out so horrible that I received the service for free, without even having to put up a fight. My fingers are completely peeling, not my nails but the actual skin on my fingers and hands because they place your hand in a plastic bag full of acetone to take off your gel polish. I was completely astonished but shocked even more when they placed my fingers in yet another plastic bag full of cuticle remover to complete my manicure!! Acetone for about 10 minutes and then cuticle remover for another 5 to 7 minutes!!! Are you kidding me?! After choosing a misleading mood gel color, I was asked to pay $5 to change; which I find to be ridiculous since my second color choice was exactly what was displayed but the first was not, but still charged for a "manicure". Went today as one of my amazing students got me a gift certificate. Kevin gave me a deluxe pedicure and it was amazing. They really take the time to make the experience perfect. He massaged my legs and feet for no joke probably 20 minutes. They have a ton of pedicure bays and only a couple manicure bays but the lady next to me was getting a manicure in a pedicure bay so they make the most of what they have. Plus this cuts down on wait time for pedicures! They immediately brought me a bottle of water. Everyone was nice. I was in town & found them on Yelp. Luckily I came in wgen it was slow but leaving out, it picked up. I got gel ombre nails & a pedi w/massage. The nail tech continued to check off I looked my nails. The massage was excellent. One of my toe nails broke down a little so the guy added acrylic to elongate it (no tip). I LOVE the shape of my nails..the toe with acrylic could be shaped better but overall I'm very satisfied. All together it was 1.5 hrs at $86. I'd go back. Read Less

The services were impeccable.  The customer service was A-plus by way of greeting customers with a friendly smile and acknowledgement.  Finally a nail salon in Smyrna that offers the SNS nail system. Their SNS is very reasonably priced to include a manicure. They did an outstanding job on both the SNS and pedicure. My nail tech did my eyebrows and I fell in love. She was so adorable! I love coming here before I stop by the grocery store on my days off. The service is consistently wonderful, and the staff is incredibly friendly. They have a wide range of color options as well has gel and acrylic. I usually have a gel manicure and Felix pedicure with the sugar scrub, it is wonderful. It?s not often that I write a review. And it?s even rarer still for me to review a place to compliment the front desk staff. You only need to come to Top Nails a few times to really understand why. I won?t waste my breath rehashing the quality of their work. I also won?t waste your time describing their obssesive-compulsive sanitation practices. There?s plenty of reviews about that already. But there will never be enough reviews for Long or Angela. They are, without any hesitation, the hardest working and most accommodating set of managers I have ever seen. They are always whizzing around, whether it?s greeting new arrivals, getting the phones, cleaning, answering questions, or watching over their staff?s work among a myriad of other chores. It?s not a mad house because of those two. No matter how busy it gets (and it gets insanely busy), they always manage to have everything in order. And let?s talk about their patience, shall we? They have bent over backwards, forwards and sideways for the most ridiculous, rude and undeserving customers. If it were me, the military will have to intervene. Forget the customer is always right. Angela is very sweet. Long is very funny. Without them, it?s still a great experience. But with them here, it?s becomes an extraordinary experience. I visited this salon after reading all the reviews about the salon online. To be honest, I was skeptical at all the positive reviews. But after treating myself here, it WOW-ed me. I was treated with very friendly attitudes that felt like they were GENUINELY glad to service me. The decor is very upscale and professional - not your typical spa decorations. It's a breath of fresh air. Don't take my word for it. Come and experience it for yourself, unless you're one of the people whom I have purchased over $300 in gift certificates for Christmas. I just had a manicure and pedicure done here the night before Thanksgiving and I am floored by the exceptional service I received. This salon's atmosphere and service rival any 5-star spa from New York that I frequent. Everyone from the manager down to the technician took time to talk and service me (AND MY DAUGHTER) as if they had all the time in world. Mind you that this is the day before Thanksgiving and the salon is full. With this kind of service, I am willing to pay 3x the price that they're charging. Coming to this nail salon is like coming to your girlfriend's sleepover party. It's so fun and friendly in there. The workers there obviously enjoy each other and are thrilled to entertain you. You don't feel awkward making special requests and often they (especially the manager) anticipate your needs before you even know. They really pay attention to the little details. I am a stickler for attention to details and they really impress me. While getting a spa pedicure, I was shifting in my seat trying to ask a question and the manager happen to walk by and immediately stopped what he was doing to ask if he could offer any assistance. When I said no need, he took a quick look around my area and tidied up my fallen purse and even cleaned my shoulder because of stray pieces of cotton from my eyebrow wax. The first time I came to the salon, it was raining really hard and I had forgotten to roll up my window. He saw it and informed me. Unfortunately I was getting my feet done at the time. He voluntarily asked me for my keys and proceeded to run out in his chic, formal attire to roll up my windows and even drove the car to the front entrance! He came in dripping wet and even laughed. He didn't make me feel awkward at all. I gave him a $20 tip later on and he refused it!!! He even insisted after I pushed it on him THREE times. I am flatly impressed. I have been getting fake nails and pedicures for over 15 years and this place is by far the most unique experience ever. The atmosphere is very modern and luxurious. It's clean and sanitary. You wouldn't have guessed that it's in a strip mall. Customer service is out of this world. It is one of the cheapest places around. You are getting 5-star resort quality service and ambiance for the price of a hole in the wall salon. The owner and the general managers are attentive to your every needs.
