I came here as a walk in to get my lashes done. I got the feeling that the young lady was upset because I didnt make an appointment (I didnt know that was their policy being that I'm not from Savannah). After conferring with her boss in the next room she came out walked to the back and the boss had to tell me to follow her and she would do my lashes. If I could review without giving a star I would. I was overcharged purposely. I got a deluxe pedicure and a manicure with gel polish. I was charged $80. The inexperienced tech tore my cuticles. I tried not to jump or react because she got nervous. I tipped her well because she’s just starting out. Encouragement. She asked the guy assigning techs to clients how much and they conversed in their language. Then she said,$80. I thought that was high but everyone said it was a bit more expensive than other salons. When my family and I got in the car and compared prices. I paid more than my daughters that got fill-in and deluxe pedicure with gel polish. I go there for regular manicures and pedicures. I often get ingrown nails on my big toes due to wearing closed shoes daily. Mai is a godsend when it comes to this. She takes her time and makes sure everything is out of there. She also does my manicure. I chose a basic manicure to keep my nails healthy. I see Hai for eyebrow waxing. My daughter and I call her the Eyebrow Whisperer. My eyebrows are on fleek each and every time she does them. Those two are truly my go to people at Posh on Eisenhower. Read Less

Stopped in to get my nails done for graduation with a friend. I've been in this location a couple of times and I've tried various nails techs but each time I leave I have the same thoughts. My nails are subaverage, I was rushed, and/or the tech wasn't personal. I showed the nail tech a picture of the design I wanted (ombré for my skin color as a brown girl). And she shook her head ok. Then she pulled out the smaller electric filler and began to scratch up the surface of my nails (she never buffed them). Then she began cutting my nails down almost cutting the skin of my fingers. When I told her not to cut them down as low she stated that what she was doing was better because water wouldn't get between the my nail and and the false nail. I told her I didn't care because she was hurting me. Afterwards she went to the other hand and she left the nail slightly longer. Next she began gluing the false nail down and then it came down to adding the acrylic powder on top. She grabbed the pink and white powder and started working. When I told her that wasn't what I wanted she insisted to keep working because she said that's how the picture looked. After I told her I only wanted the polish ombré and not the powder she said they couldn't do ombré paint so I had to choose from the mood nails. Afterwards she began cutting my cuticles and she ended up cutting too low and making me bleed. Overall this nail salon deserves a D+. The atmosphere is serene and the decor is beautiful. Pitfalls, the remaining experience was unpleasant and this isn't my first unpleasant experience with them, the techs rush you and don't take your directions/instructions well. Read Less

I love the Posh on Eisenhower! It looks upscale, they are quick to get you serviced, and they play great music! I mainly go to Alex when I have time to book an appointment (because she only takes appointments) for full sets, but for manicures I go to Sarah. Sarah works part time so you may or may not see her as much. I love them both! However, everyone at Posh are very professional and kind, and they shape your nails to perfection (which is a big deal for me). Their prices are a little expensive, but you literally get what you pay for so it's worth it! I highly recommend Posh on Eisenhower. The entire staff was super rude when I asked them about a design I wanted. One design was hard I admit but they didn't have to be rude about it. And then I asked them for a much simpler one and again with the rudeness. So I went to Savannah Mall and got my nails done there. I'd go somewhere else for mani/pedi. They don't do a good job and they talk to each other (probably about you) the entire time. Not relaxing!!! I got a gel manicure and it burned every time it went under the light to cure. Manicure looks like crap. I left with nail polish all over my hand and they hardly massaged. Read Less

Okay so I normally go to my girl in Hinesville because it's close and I've been going to her for about 3 years now. I went with my best friend to Posh yesterday for the first time and I loved it! I got a mani pedi and I'll talk about both. Manicure: I had a fill done with polish, and I was even a pain enough to request a little decal that I brought with me. Tina was extremely nice, took time to make sure all my nails were the same length and took all of my requests with a p...ositive attitude. I felt very welcome and wasn't uncomfortable asking her to change a few things. She did an amazing job. Pedicure: I had 2 girls work on me. One of then did my pedicure and painted all but my big toes, and another woman painted American flags on them. I was happy to tip them both. I had a new girl there shadowing, and we chatted about things the entire time. It was a lovely experience. The girl who did my American flags (her name escapes me) was extremely sweet and took extra time to make sure everything I wanted was perfect. I can only speak for there pedicure, there pedicure room is relaxing.  The design of the space is very nice and the music they play is peaceful! Great space to get away from work on a lunch break. The shop is clean, inviting and organized. I love the new renovations, however, I was not totally pleased with my service. I got a full set with chrome polish and the acrylic is very thick and warped on my nails. They're passable but I got them done for my birthday and was really looking for something more exceptional especially for the price for the chrome style and even after showing my nail tech, Rose, a picture of the color chrome I wanted, she gave me the wrong color. Also, chrome should have a mirror like finish whereas this look is more glittery than mirror. I believe they may use a less expensive brand of the chrome. My boyfriend and I got a pedicures and I got my eyebrows waxed here. The pedicure was okay, they tried to upsell us several times, but the lady trying to upgrade us was very difficult to understand. And the overly loud music (that was meant to cover up the melodical sounds of someone unhappily receiving an intimate wax job) did little to help the language barrier.The eyebrow "wax" job was mostly done with a straight razor. She waxed the bottom line of my brows, but shaved the rest. Razors are fine for straightening lines, but for bulk removal is not suitable. I got this done two days ago and all the straight razored areas are already stubbly. The idea behind waxing is that the hairs you rip out take longer to come back. Wouldn't get anything "waxed" here again. If I wanted my eyebrows shaved, I'll do that at home and for free, thanks. Read Less

The worst manicure experience I have ever had.  Went here to have an SNS polymer powder manicure.  Here are the most serious issues:  after soaking off the existing polish in acetone, the tech left partially dissolved polish on several fingers--the skin, not the nail.  I pointed this out to her, and she made non-verbal motions that I should pick it off.  It was and still is stuck to my skin.  Next, when using the electric file, she stayed too long in one spot and burned my nail. I asked her, before she started to be very careful since I have natural, but thin nails.  Then,, while still using the electric file, she cut the skin around one of my nails.  It is still bleeding, a half hour later.  Since she did not seem to be using sterilized instruments, I hope this doesn't get infected.  And lastly, she seemed very unfamiliar with the SNS product and had to reapply the final two coats when the polish turned cloudy.  I had pointed the cloudiness out to her and at first she did not see it.  Our conversation drew two other techs who spoke to her and then she reapplied the final two coats.  So....as I try to pick the polish off that is still adhering to my skin, I am writing this to warn others to stay away from this salon. This is the 6th place I've been to down here in Savannah/Brunswick areas and so far the best place around here, for a manicure and eyebrows waxing. The mani was nice. He wasn't able to get it like the pix on Pinterest but then I haven't been able to find a place that can. The eyebrows was was nice and clean. Best thing about this, they use new stick for every customer (yay to sanitary) I so wanted to give them a 5 but the paint job on my pedi were so bad that it's laughable. I get pedi&mani done every two weeks so i have certain experience and expectations. My toes are small and so i just asked for basic pedi w solid paint job. The skin around each toe were not clean, the nail cuts were not filed down and there were overpainted on my skin and yet some spot on the toe nails were not completely painted I would give this place a try again for the sanitary job on waxing and the mani but would ask for a different pedi technician - OR he better go get his eye checked Read Less

I've never been to this nail salon before, but I figured I would give it a try. I thought that they did a really nice job. They had a very large selection of colors, and the interior was welcoming. Had my eyebrows done. They were very busy  and packed in there but that's probably cause it's a great place. The lady, Mi, who did my brows... Definitely the best job I've ever had done. Literally... I have very sensitive white skin so they always turn bright red and sometimes get bumpy if the wax was too harsh or dirty... Well my brows stayed perfect and didn't get very red or and bumps at all! She even used a razor and had all the white baby hairs removed!!! I am so pleased. Can't wait to go get my toes done next! First I would like to say I have been going to this nail salon for over 3 years, but this most recent incident really blew away all of the positive views I had of them. A couple days ago I walked into the salon asking to get my nail (fake ones of course) taken off and I wanted a manicure. After picking out my color they sat me down with the girl who usually does feet only. I can tell she didn't really know what she was doing because people kept looking over her back, but anywho. She proceeds to RIP off my acrylic nails leaving my real nails torn DOWN TO THE SKIN and some PAST the skin of the top of my nails. One of my nails were broken and she can clearly see the tear! She tries to go ahead and rip off the nail. I jerked back telling her that was the part of the bail connected to my skin. She looks at me crazy and tells me "I need to cut it down" ... I looked at her and said "no! We can soak them off".After getting my nails on one hand soaked off, she STILL tries to cut down the nail that was attached to my skin. She just kept trying and trying. After getting pissed off with her I went ahead and told her to stop and don't do anything else. I didn't get polish or clear coat. I was pissed and just wanted to leave. Even after the horrible job she did I still had to pay $20 for a bad manicure where my nails were ripped off and only my cuticles were cut. Who does that?! I really like this Salon but was very disappointed after a recent visit for a pedicure. My pedi was not completed by one the regular ladies. She seemed very inexperienced and not sure of the process. She ended up severely scrapping the side of my foot with the callus sponge when I did NOT have any calluses or rough skin on my feet. No apology or anything. Extremely impressed, they took great care of me and were very friendly plus a week later and my nails still look great. They took their time to make sure my stiletto nails were perfect too.
