My husband and I were on vacation in Savannah and found this place on Yelp. I researched quite a few places (some were so close we could have walked) but decided to give this place a shot and I'm so glad we did!  We intended on just getting pedicures but ended up both getting mani/pedi. The service was great, excellent massage and we even got hot towel treatment!  Price is excellent!  I've been to lots of salons over the last 30 years and this was the best experience I've had! Searching for a new salon, my friend and I decided to try this place. Needless  to say, we will not return. I intended on getting a gel mani and gel pedi but the man insisted  on telling me how regular polish  should  be ok. The tech did not soak the polish of my toe nails and proceeded to scrap them with  acetone. My pedicure  was not relaxing at all and since she decided to scrap my toe nails I opted not to get a manicure. My friend had glitter polish on her toes so the man proceeds to tell  her next time she needs to get a bottom coat and asks her where did she come from. He also manhandled her feet and legs. One of the best pedicure and waxing experiences I've ever had. I live in Atlanta and have been to a lot of nail salons. The ladies were great, professional, and everything was very clean. The spa pedicure was a great price for what they do, and so was everything else. I've never had an eyebrow waxing like the one I got here. The waxing and plucking were pretty standard, but she gave me an AMAZING fascial massage after. I'm down in Tybee often and will definitely be coming back here. Read Less

I have had nothing but bad experiences with nail salons on Wilmington Island since moving here. That all ended today! I decided to give them a try. Cant be worse than the other nail salon i tried. All I can say is Amazing!!!!! Went at 10:45 and there was no wait. Got the mani/pedi combo and was blown away at the quality of the pedicure. It was most most salons would upcharge as a spa pedi. Sugar scrug, hot towels, massage. It was fantastic. Cost was $45 for the mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. Read Less

In town for a conference, decided on this shop based on the reviews.  Shop is located inside a small shopping center and the shop was neat. The day I went with a colleague, we were seen very quickly because no one else was in the shop.  The  lady with the glasses that did my pedi was nice and the experience with her was fair.  However, I give this place 4 stars because I watched my colleague get a massage for the GODS on her legs and feet by a male employee, meanwhile my "experience" lasted like 5 minutes.  I will say the lady's polish skills were good.  If I'm ever back in Savannah and in need of a pedi, I will come back here, but I will most DEFINITELY ask for the older male employee to do my pedi because I was hella jealous watching my colleague's massage! I'm sorry to be the first to rate this place as less than five stars, but this was not the experience I had hoped for. To start, the ambiance... Well there is none. It looks like some pedicure chairs and manicure tables were thrown into an office space. It was not relaxing or a nice surrounding to be in. The owner nor staff were aware of how to make their massage chairs function properly so I ended up not using it. The foot tubs are covered in plastic so they didn't have to clean them - which is both concerning for cleanliness and tacky to me. The owner was very nice but my pedicure was not all that well done. She gave me a massage with salt scrub, not lotion, so it wasn't as pleasant as other places. The polish they carry is not of a high grade either. Lastly, I was not a fan of the very strong smelling "tingling oil" they put on my legs at the end. The smell permeated my clothes to the extent that I had to wash it off when I got home. My car still smelled like it the next day. All in all, a nice staff is not enough for me to return. I want a relaxing experience and quality pedicure if I plan to come back. Read Less

Best pedicure in Savannah!! At first I wasn't sure about this place because it's in the Mercer Plaza and I'd never been inside. I'm so glad I gave it a chance!! They took such good care of me; they are very thorough, cordial, and invested in their customers. The employees are all very kind and the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. My three daughters and I have been going to this salon since we moved here in August 2013. All 4 of us and our friends always have a good experience here. My girls and their friends always come here to get their nails done before every dance and special occasion. We have wandered and tried other nail places around town to compare and always come back to Helen and her staff. The salon is low key and quiet, not at all like these "conveyor belt" type nail stores. The staff is kind and considerate and the salon is well maintained. I usually go to a different nail salon but since I was in a rush I decided to try somewhere closer to home. Nation nails was close and even though I was a little scared to try somewhere new I was glad I did. They treated me very respectfully and also gave me one of the best manicures I've ever had! 5 stars! Read Less

I agree- Awful, Awful, Awful! I had 2 previous services here that were only adequate, but I continued to utilize this salon because of the convenience- well what a mistake!! I had a manicure and pedicure this past week that was the WORST ever. The tech attempted to cut my toe nails with the cuticle scissors even after I asked her to use the toenail clippers instead. Then she filed my fingernails in the most bizarre way. (I asked for them to be squared as they were when I entered the salon) I ended up with my nails in an upside half circle. The ends were longer than the center. When I asked that she at least even them out, she blamed the shape on my nails. By the time she evened my nails out, they were filed down to my skin. We went before my best friends wedding, we got pedicured and nails. The bride got acrylic nails, that by the next day looked terrible. Two of us got gel nails, with a french manicure and the white CRACKED the next day. Looked like the crackle paint that was once so popular. There is one person doing the gel nails and ran back and forth to us. He didn't even sit down and had a very unsteady hand. We had made an appointment so it wasn't like they were caught off guard about us coming. I do not recommend this place for getting your nails done!!!!! Read Less

That was one of the best pedicures I've ever had!  I came here once years ago when they first opened and vowed never to go back.  But I was lazy and on vacation and it's the closest one to my parents' house. Admittedly, their color selection isn't awesome, but I'm also extra critical because I STILL can't find a place that has the Muppets OPI colors.  Great massage (and massage chairs), awesome warm towel, and super gentle addressing toe nail issues!  She was amazing!  i wish I could spell/pronounce her name so everyone can ask for her!  My toes are now ready for some warm water and sandy beaches. Awful, Awful, Awful! Went there two days ago to get pedi and the owners sister gave the worst pedi I ever had, she tore the skin around my big toe on BOTH feet and it hurts so bad. I am tempted to go there tomorrow and show them what they did! I will never go back there again and wanted to let everyone know what happened to me cause it was not a good experience!Read Less
