Great atmosphere and friendly staff. They did well on my nails and this is a great place to go if you can afford it. Honestly, I didn't think the experience was worth how much I spent. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure without polish. I'm pissed off because when I told them I didn't want polish on my toes, they didn't simply say, "Are you sure? The polish is included and we won't deduct anything for you not getting it." But instead, they didn't tell me that so I paid full price. Owning a shop downtown, I know what a pain it can be for parking.Thats one of the reasons I go to Bella's,the parking they offer is very convenient. Another plus is the salon is a nice size so they can accommodate even large groups. Every time I go in, I've never had to wait. The staff are all really nice and I'm in and out quickly, not to mention job well done. Very happy with this salon and I always recommend it to customers who are visiting Savannah. I came from out of town for an eyebrow waxing. The place was beautiful and you could tell they pamper their clients. Immediately when I laid on the bed to have my brows done, the lady grabs the wax and heads towards me without asking how I wanted them shaped, brushing them up or anything. The salon is clean and there is a large selection of both regular and gel polishes. My gel manicure and regular pedicure are still going strong 2 weeks later. It gets busy, especially during the after work rush. I always try to make an appointment, however they seem to do everything they can to accommodate walk-ins, to the point where I once had to wait nearly 40 minutes even with an appointment. Compared to other local options they definitely do the best job and are the cleanest by far. There is always the offer of drinks, including wine, when I go and I can always appreciate that. Made an appointment and went in for a pedicure, chairs are nice but when I took my feet out of the water my ankles were dyed blue. I asked what it was and the pedicurist said it was from the water. ...So your water is dyed blue? I'm positive they didn't put anything in the water, so the bag around the tub was turning the water blue. This is really bad.Since my ankles were still blue, she started to scrub off the dye with the pumice tool, which made my skin extremely red and it hurt a lot. Didn't have much time to stop her. I had to ask for more lotion after because I knew it would hurt to put my shoes on. I also asked if I could put my sandals on before the polish and she said she couldn't do it, even though my sandals were open toed. I had to walk and to work after so it was a pain. Overall not impressed, I'm happy I only paid $28 but I may not be back unless I get someone else.EDIT: I would up the next morning and I clearly have scars on both ankles from this. This nail salon is absolutely fabulous! I was driving in from Atlanta and needed a quick mani/pedi. Found this salon near my hotel. They took me right away. The salon was very clean and visually appealing, and the staff was so nice and friendly. Most importantly, my service was impeccable! From the cuticle service, to the massage, to the paint was all so meticulously done. I wanted a color on my nails that the salon didn't have, but my technician patiently worked with me to create the color I wanted. I wish I asked her name because she was amazing!I've regularly gotten my nails done for years and this salon was well above standard. I was skeptical walking into a place I was unfamiliar with, especially since I'm picky about my nails. This may have been the second best manicure I've ever had. I used to come here because it is near my house and prices are reasonable. However, some of the staff is sometimes rude and they would make me wait as they would sit and talk and only one person was busy. I would get over it because the place was convenient but today was my last time setting foot in that place. I went to get my acrylic nails removed and the lady PULLED them off from my nails with no acetone or anything. It felt uncomfortable until the very last one that hurt horribly. I noticed and she had pulled a piece of MY nail off in the center of my nail! I have a patch of skin exposed! She also cut them extremely short and didn’t file them down. I came here months ago and had a pretty good experience with one woman that worked here, after she left it all was horrific. I got belittled and talked down to here. My acrylics were done terribly and when I voiced my problem with them ( wrong shape, fell off after 3 days) they told me it would cost $25 just to take them off and continued to talk about how I just didn't understand how acrylics are even though I've had acrylics for over 4 years and never had a problem with them. Giving a one star simply because of how rude my technician was. She acted as if it was an inconvenience for her, which is strange because 6 other technicians were free and if she was having such a bad day maybe she should've went home. She rushed all while huffing and puffing the entire time. I was jealous of my friend I went with because her guy took his time and asked her what she liked. I don't know what kind of wizardry they use, but my pedicures last MONTHS when I get them done here. The only reason why I ever need to get them re-done is because my nails grow out! The polish never chips or fades! I love this place. The staff is very nice, professional, and the prices are reasonable. The store is clean and bright, and the chairs are very comfortable. This was my 3rd time at La Bella. I live down the street so I really wanted to make this my normal pedicure place. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening. While they do a good job with my nails, cut them shorter and file, are kind and make conversation...the place is dirty. I saw 3 roaches crawling on the floor and one on their shelves. This was in the middle of the afternoon; both rear and front door were shut. They were the small inch long ones that are from the inside of dirty places...gross. Also, they want you to tip with cash and use their ATM machine to access your bank account. Therefore, they make an extra expense off of you. I forgot one time and refused to use their ATM bc of my bank fees as well as theirs. They didn't make a big deal and gladly accepted the gratuity. Read Less

I walked in today for a gel french manicure. Despite there being a bridal party they were attending to, they were still able to accommodate me within 5-10 minutes. They have a lot of workers! I have been going to this salon every 2-3 weeks and seen the same older woman for a deluxe pedicure every time and had the BEST experience..she always massages each leg for 10 mins and takes her time with care... I went today and had a male do my pedicure. After watching this guy give a pedicure to the chair next to me I knew a deluxe would not suffice with him because he rushed a basic. I asked for a platinum and did not receive any different treatments than my deluxe. I was not asked if I wanted my nails trimmed and before I could say anything, my big toe nail was cut off. My toe was BLEEDING. It was the most painful pedicure I have ever had. You can literally see where my toe nail once was and now it is cut off and crooked. It was shorter than any deluxe pedicure I have ever had as well. At the end, the guy walked away, which I thought he was cleaning up, however, I was left in my chair while he started a pedicure. I had to find flip flops for myself. When I was checking out I informed them how upset I was about my pedicure and how painful it was. I was still charged the full amount and they only said "I am sorry". I have recommended to many in Savannah to go to this salon, but I will never refer anyone again. Not many things worse than trying to relax after a very busy week and wanting a nice pedicure for a banquet that you have to attend and instead you're in severe pain. Read Less

La Bella has become my go-to nail salon in Savannah. The salon is clean, I never have to wait, and they are able to do a basic fill-in nicely. They also have a wide selection of colors (both regular and gel) to choose from. I once saw a woman bring an entire bottle of wine to enjoy during her pedicure, which I thought was pretty awesome. Sometimes the staff can make you feel rushed, but otherwise they are friendly. Their prices may be a little higher than other salons in Savannah, but that is to be expected with their historical downtown location. I also request the exact same service every time I go, and the price is always slightly different- ranging from $24-$35 for a fill-in. With it's convenient parking and clean space, I will definitely continue to go to La Bella. Read Less

I got a new gel set and a pedi. Two people worked on me at the same time. Overall it it was a good experience - however - when I got my toe nails polished, the lady said she could not get all the polish off the edges of my nails - I asked if the polish color I chose would cover it up and she said it would - ummmm it didn't - my toenails looked like they were bleeding around the edges. Cannot say enough about the quality of this place. Conveniently located off of Liberty in downtown Savannah, with OFF STREET parking. They took so much time and effort to take care of my cuticles, dead skin, and all around crummy nails. Gel manicure lasted well past two weeks, regular pedicure even longer.
