Read the Yelp reviews for the area (one of the most/well-reviewed nail salons on the island). Took my sisters (3 of us total) to get gel manicures as they had never tried it. The place was slammed for the holidays, but they squeezed us in. Even turned away a group while we were there. I emphasized not to rush, that we could wait during our manicures if appointments came in. The service was a bit rushed (again it was the Christmas holiday and tons of walk-ins/appointments) but they were super nice and manicures overall look great. I have had higher-end service as well as a better manicure in other places, but mostly in larger urban areas like Chicago, etc. You will be pleased if you try this place, but just don't compare it to a ritzy salon in California. Rosalee's has become a tradition - every time friends or family are visiting SSI, the ladies go to Rosalee's. I don't know if it is the best service or the best price as I haven't tried any of the other salons on the island - we just always go to Rosalee's. But that says a lot! Read Less

As a local and long-time lover of a mani pedi I have tried just about every place on the island. This place is on another level from the other nail salons. The staff always does a great job every time, no matter who you get. They also go the extra mile with customer service - very friendly and longer massage than at other places. An added bonus - they play food network 24/7! Maybe it's just me, but I swear the employees at this location also seem just happier and like they are treated better in the work environment. I'm a regular at Rosalees. This is the cleanest nail salon on the island. Mun and Timmy have a great staff and are always incredibly accommodating to an allergy I have. This is the only place I go for both mani and pedi services. You will not be disappointed here!! Read Less

My mom and I visited for the first time today and we're very impressed. Very professional and friendly staff and took us immediately with no long wait (but I did see the cool massage chairs if we did have to wait). And the job they did was amazing! Except for the most amazingly obnoxious woman ever, who talked, voice texted, ate a whole take out meal (delivered) and slurped a huge drink all while getting a manicure, it was a really a great mani / pedi. I had a lovely pedicure with my mom today at Rosalee Nails. We called ahead, and made an appointment, but I'm sure we could have walked in and sat down just as quickly. Made appointment for 3:30 for mani/pedi and wasn't seated till 4pm. Why even have appts if you aren't going to try and keep them? Went with my MIL and it took my lady 35 min to do both mani and pedi but took my MIL an hour and a half!!! They didn't even cut her toenails or fingernails even after she asked. Yesterday, a friend and I had French manicure at this salon. I have to say it was the worst manicure I have ever received. Within a few hours the nail vanish had chipped, flaked off and looked awful. We returned the next day to complain and the owners shouted at us until we left. It has to be the worst customer service I have ever received.PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SALON. Read Less

Moving to the area and seeking a nail salon where I can get good service and be charged a fair price. Rosalee's  was clean and staff friendly.  However, they overcharge what is listed on the price board telling you the service you received was better.  Not true! THIS IS THE WORST PLACE BY FAR OF ANY NAIL SALON IV EVER BEEN TO. THIS DESERVES NEGATIVE STARS, I CANT EVEN BEGIN OT EXPRESS THE ANGER TOWARD THE JOB THAT THEY DID TO MY NAILS. GETTING YOUR NAILS DONE REQUIRES HAVING THEM FILED, CUTTING THE CUTICLE, PUSHING THE CUTICLE BACK, NAIL POLISH REMOVER, AND A SKKILLED MANACURIST, I CAN HONESTLY SAY I WOULDNT CHECK ONE OF THESE OFF NOT ONE OF THESE WAS DONE TO MY NAILS.
