Such an amazing place this is and amazing staff. This is my 3rd time here and it’s been a wonderful experience each time. My favorite techs for pedis are Mimi and lee. For my nails I use Tu and he is wonderful! All I needed to do was to show him a pic how I wanted and he got it right away. Bad customer service!! They take appointments, but don’t honor them. Then after they make you wait when you arrive at your appointment time, they do a terrible job. Thick and lumpy polish.Not happy with my pedicure the corners are not polished, the top coat is spread very purely and the polish is all over my cuticles...Over price. cared only about getting the job done fast without care for the customer experience. I have been here twice and twice I had bad experience. Their prices are higher than others . I am happy to pay more but not for poor attitudes. For starters the salon is very beautiful and well kept. Everything looks nice and clean, the staff was friendly. I didn't have an appointment but I got sat right away with no wait! They were pretty busy but seemed to have plenty of staff members so I did not notice anyone waiting! I wanted to get a full set of acrylics put on with gel polish as well. I get my nails done usually every 2-3 weeks and has recently taken off my acrylics because I needed a new set & after talking with a friend and reading reviews I decided to try out Bluegrass. After speaking with the lady doing my nails, she recommended that I get "acrylic overlay" instead of acrylic nails.. (even though I had asked for acrylic tips) because she said the tips wouldn't look good since I like them short. Mind you, I've had short acrylics for YEARS now and they always look great.  The gel polish looks fabulous, she was very detailed to make sure they were even and painted fully. However, I knocked down the review to a 3 star because I paid nearly double what I pay at my normal nail salon and I didn't even get acrylic tips put on! Wow! I made an appointment at Bluegrass for a friend and I while in the area running errands this Saturday. She got the deluxe and I got the hot stone pedi. When we arrived at 2 we were greeted promptly and offered refreshments. After picking our colors we were shown to a nice semi private area for just us two. My pedicure was amazing! Kind of disappointed to be completely honest. We spent over $150 here on NAILS. Why are they so expensive, they're no different than the guys down the street from my house that charge $20. I went here with my sister in law and friends for my sister in law’s birthday. I went only expecting good things. The nail technician put the wrong color SNS on my sister in law’s nails. My sister in law made it pretty obvious as the nail technician was applying it that it looked like a different color then what she had picked. The lady ignored it and kept going. My sister in law didn’t want to complain but finally said something because the nail color was a watery brown colo…r. A couple of the staff kept trying to say it was the same color that she had picked out when it was obvious that it wasn’t. One of the ladies did say sometimes they do mix up the lid colors on the powder. So they said they would redo her nails. She had to stay 30 more minutes while they redid her nails. They didn’t even think of offering a discount for their mistake. They were irritated when she was surprised they charged her full price. They ended up giving her 10% off but were so annoyed about it. I've been to Bluegrass in Roswell twice now and had two different experiences each time even though a friend and I got Deluxe pedicures both times. The first time I went, I was instantly impressed with how nice the place looks - clean and modern. Our techs did a great job making our pedicures enjoyable and they looked beautiful and lasted for quite a while. That visit was a 5-star visit for sure.We went for the second time a few days ago and it was a "meh" experience for the price. First, we were quickly sat down at two seats where other customers had just been and they just didn't do a good job of cleaning up beforehand. There were nails in my friend's foot bath which had to be cleaned. The tech then started my pedicure ten minutes before another tech started my friend's pedicure. Everything felt like it wasn't nearly as high quality as our previous trip which is a shame, especially because Bluegrass seems a little pricier than other nail salons. I will give it another try and hope that the experience is as great as the first time I visited. If it isn't..I'll probably be going elsewhere from now on. Read Less

Even though I find this place expensive, it is very special. The inside twinkles with chandeliers and lush spa chairs in white. If you just wanted a manicure, it's a beautiful long marble counter with navy suede studded chairs! Stunning. They offer you a choice of scents for lotions and foot soaks and even candy by the scoop. Got my nails done here 2 weeks ago- the pink and white option. Nails lasting beautifully and without a doubt, this is the best mani I've had. They will do your mani and pedi at the same time and offer complimentary beverages. Decor is adorable and Staff is pleasant; really takes their time- must care about their work and definitely skilled at what they do... would've loved a little more time for the included massage but that is the only reason this gem doesn't get 5 stars. It was good that she did, since the place did get busy, with all but 1-2 of the dozen+ chairs occupied around 2pm on a Friday. The decor is fancy with chandeliers and marble. They've got tons of colors and magazines, bottled and fruit water, and even free candy (Reese's, Skittles, and Gummy bears). There are big screen TVs throughout, with the sound mostly down. I enjoyed the massage chair during my pedicure. The whole process was easy and calming, with soaking, scrubbing, warm towel massage of my legs, and of course polish. I appreciated that we weren't rushed, and instead lingered as long as necessary for our toes to dry. VISA/MC only, and cash only for tips! They let you know that when you make your reservation. This is probably my favorite place to get my nails done. There are closer nail salons near where I live, but it's worth to come out of my way to come here. Clean,tidy and professional! I went today for the first time and I feel that I went to heaven. I just move from New York 3 weeks ago and I went to many different places to get my nails done but nothing compares to this great services. I called 40 min before I went to the salon. I did have to wait. I request the classic mani en pedi combo but I upgraded to Deluxe with the hobey ans milk scrub and I feel renew. Compare to what I was used to in NY, I did have to move from where I was. They did my mani while I was having my pedicure done, and I even got my brows done to in the same place. The services was AMAZING, the place looks gorgeous.The only things that I didn't like was that the tips is just in cash and I didn't have no cash at all with me and I felt bad for the ladys how did my services. I moved to East Cobb a year ago and have finally found a great salon. Hannah and Young were awesome. Hannah did my spa manicure and Young did my spa pedicure and 15 min shoulder massage. This salon is a hidden gem. I walked in for a mani-pedi before a friend's wedding about a year and a half ago and it's become my go-to salon for my nails. The salon is clean and it's set up like a calming retreat, and the staff is professional and friendly. They accommodated my entire bridal party before my wedding (8 of us with appointments) but do walk-ins as well. They have also been quite accommodating with my mother-in-law who uses a walker. Bluegrass is a wee bit out of the way, tucked in a small strip mall off of Marietta Hwy, but it's worth the extra effort. The shop is clean, bright and airy. And you're not greeted by the stifling, headache inducing odor most nail shops are known for. Yes, there's a slight smell, but it's not overpoweringly offensive, which is the main reason I pass at least 5 other shops to come here.The fresh fruit water, modern rustic decor and TVs simultaneously playing HGTV and Food Network are great touches. There's also semiprivate space for two people getting nail treatments. The first time I got my nails done, my SNS was bit thicker than I prefer, contributing to chips after a week or so. This last visit, my SNS was applied much thinner (2 layers of powder/liquid), allowing me to use my nails as I normally would (to peel price labels off something purchased from Home Goods). Outside of SNS and pedicures, I've not gotten any other services and, thankfully, no one has ever attempted to upsell me. Bluegrass is the absolute best at what they do... from flawless manicures to truly heavenly pedicures I refuse to go anywhere else. Their prices are quite competitive and they staff couldn't be more amazing. I am always greeted with a smile, always asked if I need anything to drink, and they always have the greatest color selections in town. Even on their busiest of days I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes. They offer massages as well, and at 1$ a minute, how could you ask for more. Like most people on this page I use to think Blue Grass was a great nail salon. I happily paid their premium prices every time I went because I knew I would get excellent service, until TODAY. I went in for my twice a month gel manicure and pedicure. My pedicure was slightly shorter than normal but my toes still looked great. The problem began with my gel manicure. The technician was on the second coat and I noticed the polish was bubbling. I could tell she was irritated that… I mentioned it. She attempted to fix the polish and then forcefully put my hand back under the light and it hit my other hand and ruined 3 more nails. Again, she attempted to correct the messed up polish, but after no luck, she started filing my nails so hard that the skin on my cuticles was peeling. I asked her to take it easy, and she continued. I finally told her that She probably needed to start over and soak my hand. As she placed the acetone cotton balls once again on my nails, my cuticles were on fire. At this point, I called the manager over to explain what happened. She apologized but slightly defended the tech which I did not appreciate. The tech returned and was so angry that I told the manager, she threw an adult tantrum, threw her gloves off and walked away. A new technician who was extremely sweet finished my nails. When I approached the counter for payment ( after I had been there for almost 2 hours and my cuticles still burning) I was baffled that the manager still expected full payment for the services. She offered me a gift cert for the "next time" instead of compensating me for just my gel manicure. After she argued with me for about 5 min, I told her I was only paying for my pedicure and again another adult tantrum-she forcefully took my debit card and wouldn't make eye contact with me after she ran my card. Their facility may be beautiful, but in a world were there is a nail salon on every corner, their customer service was horrific today. I called and asked if I needed an appointment for a manipedi, which they recommended so I made one for 45 minutes after I called.  I arrived right on time, but they didn't seat me for a few minutes.  Then, I waited and waited for someone to come work on me.  20 minutes after my appointment I asked when I would be waited on after seeing several others who arrived after me get waited on. I asked about their hygiene practices, which seemed ok, and also asked about what was in the deluxe version vs. regular only to find out the regular doesn't include ANY removal of callouses, which I've never heard of before!  I went ahead and got a deluxe pedicure and assumed I would get the deluxe manicure but was only given a VERY quick and basic manicure.  Then they charged me as if I didn't have a package mani-pedi!  At the price I paid, I expected much much more and certainly didn't feel I got proper treatment as a new customer.  Obviously they don't care if people come back! After reading several reviews on Yelp I decided to try this nail salon in Roswell. The location is great, lots of parking, and a short drive from Woodstock. The staff were super friendly and the salon was very clean. The prices for gel and SNS seemed to be average. I loved how they had tons of choices of colors and they use top brands like OPI. While I do continue to go here, it's mostly based on the atmosphere and wine in hopes that the service will improve.The past four times I've been in, I've had the same lady three times. During all three appointments, she was extremely unprofessional -- arriving late to work and then discussing how she didn't get reprimanded by the manager, in a really aggravated mood when she found out that I asked for a Deluxe pedicure, and verbally harsh when another employee asked her how her day was going and she responded, "I really don't want to be here." in the midst of my pedicure.I've also had two out of four of my gel manicures not withstand for more than 48 hours with cracking, chipping, and peeling.But, like I said -- the place is beautiful and they do serve you wine. Wow. There are nail salons.... And then there is this place. The interior alone is the nicest I've ever been in. Chandeliers, super luxurious chairs, TVs, relaxing music, the works. My only complaints are: The girl doing my pedicure was a little too rough. I'm not tender footed, but she kept scrubbing in between my toes and in the arch of my foot. I'm not sure that ever feels good to anyone? And my only other complaint is the price. Obviously with the higher quality of style comes a higher price.
