I went just last week for a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax. I upgraded to gel pedicure. The woman told me I needed a style update and that my last layer should be a layer of this chrome powder for a shiny look so I said ok. Then she suggested they add it to my hands so I said OK to that too. I go to check out and what is usually $90-$95 worth of services was $145!! The charged me $20 extra for just gel polish on my pedicure instead of regular, then $10 for the chrome powder--that's $30 extra added to my pedicure! She did the same thing with my SNS manicure and another $10 for that stupid chrome powder she pushed on me. At no time did she mention these huge upcharges. She was kind of sassy but I tried to just deal with it, but realized this lady is a con artist---I mean on my pedicure, that's ridiculous...she implied she was just swapping the last light pink layer for a layer of something shiny instead...I mean I could've bought multiple full size bottles of gel polish for that. She was speaking to her coworker (who kept complaining about her horrible mother and looked like she just rolled out of bed...dirty rumpled scraggly shirt, messy hair) and when I asked what they were talking about (they were speaking a different language, which was fine, but they were giggling so I wanted in on the joke) and she was saying that she doesn't understand why they finish all the cleanup for fill-ins...when I asked why wouldn't they, she said that it takes extra time and she charges extra for that...to basically finish tidying up a job she is being paid for, she charges extra. Let me tell you when I got to the register I understood that this lady is just a clever upseller and she tags lots of little fees onto her services to make herself more money. Then she has the poor brand new guy who doesn't know what's going on do the ringing up---probably the only way to get away with basically stealing money from clients. I mean 50% more than regular services? That's ridiculous. Furthermore, I got my nails done a week tomorrow and the SNS dip is already chipping (she does extremely thin layers, it's clear she's very cheap about her product) and the supposed "gel" polish I was charged a $30 upcharge for my toes started peeling literally two days later at my family function on Saturday that I got it done for. One week after $150 in services and I'm headed back again today b/c my polish is so chipped it would look unprofessional at my interview tomorrow. Not cool. The lady that did mine and runs up peoples' bills also passed me off to two different people for parts she didnt' want to do, like the actual pedicure part. She just did the polishing and the upcharging.

I have been here a few times. Today I give it 2 stars because the young man who assisted me is obviously new to the industry. I was cut on my pinky toe with his cuticle scissor and then he put the callus remover on top which stung like a $##%!! I tried to wipe the stuff off the nail bed as the other woman next to him was trying to explain what was happening in their native foreign tongue. He then grabs the spray bottle with rubbing alcohol to cleanse my wound. F$%#@! Yes, it hurt!! Painfully so!. Needless to say, i did not ask him to put nail polish on my toes. I left the nails bare. Secondly, He never remembered to cut the other foots nails back so I did ask him to do so. Again, the gentleman to the other side of him had to relay the information by translating. Bottom line. The price still had to be paid and tip was expected. So here is my tip. Go to someplace that is educated and skilled and speaks English. Today the service here was below par. I will need to check around for other nail salons in the area.

They push to upselling like crazy. I went in for a simple manicure. They tried to talk me into a French tip which I finally agreed to. Then I had to argue with them about not wanting gel or sns. The girl told me she didn’t want to do a regular manicure on me because it was not going to last. I explained I didn’t care, I only needed it to last for the one evening and I would remove it the next day. Finally I gave into gel. She pushed SNS then and I asked the difference between the two. She never told me there was a a huge price difference. I asked after she had started to find out there was a huge difference. Especially when I came in for a basic manicure now I am up to $50. She told me not to get the manicure. Umm my cuticles looked terrible I needed it. I told her to stop I because she didn’t tell me the price difference and she said “You didn’t ask”. I asked the difference between gel and SNS and she should have told me because that was a difference. Needless to say she didn’t completely take the SNS off and handed me over to someone else to do my basic mani. Now I am having to take the layer of SNS off at home that I didn’t want in the first place. Not to mention my cuticles are still a mess and because they did polish over a half SNS job my mani looked terrible. I do not recommend this place at all.

Very professional and love how all staff are attentive to your needs and the salon is very clean. Also the first salon ive seen in richmond hill that has every tools individually wrapped, including buffer, nail file, pumice stone and i see them throw it away after using it on me. I love the atmosphere, and so much variety from pedicure options to nail services. Will be coming here from now on.

I went in to get a pedicure with my 5 year old and, have my nails done.I felt like our pedicures were rushed through and, my daughter didn’t get to start her pedicure until like 10 minutes after me because the lady was talking.The ladies who did our pedicures were nice though. The salon wasn’t very clean.At least not what I am use to. The staff talked more to each other than they did me which is fine because I had a hard time understanding them but, it made my daughter uncomfortable.The woman doing my nails didn’t get all my polish off.She pulled her tools out of a drawer but, I’m not so sure they were sterile.She rushed through my nails.My gel polish wasn’t all the way cured and was sticky.I didn’t notice until the morning but, the polish job is dodgy on some fingers as well.
While not my nail tech, the one beside me got on her phone several times while doing a young ladies nails.It was very unprofessional. I have paid $40 for a better pedicure and manicure together.I was looking forward to the experience in the shop but, I was disappointed and, ready to get out of the hot building.It was okay for a last minute trip but, we will not return.

Since moving to Richmond Hill, I have been in search of an excellent nail salon. After 3 months of going to a few places that just did not hit the mark. I decided to do a search via internet instead of choosing places as I drive by while out and about. I am very impressed with the service I received. The staff was professional and the implements used for service were from sterilized packages. Not only did I receive the exact shape and smoothness I was looking for for my nails, I was also satisfied with my pedicure. I was even introduced to a technique for my nails that I absolutely love. Thanks Lisa, you’re awesome!

My nails are almond shaped and when she filed them, they were different shapes. The shape of my nails is a huge factor for me. Also, one nail was significantly shorter than the others:( When I was waiting for the polish to dry, I noticed there were tiny bubbles that formed. When I showed her, she said that it was "normal" because of the polish. Um, no. I don't recall any bubbles forming all the other times I've gotten my nails done. She also kept pushing for me to get the gel nails and it's annoying because I want what I want. I get it, this isn't her dream job but too bad she doesn't take a little more pride in her work. Welp, because of her crappy job, she inspired me to learn how to do my own acrylic nails so there's a bright side to this. I will save tons of $$$ and get my nails exactly how I want them from now on so thank you for your crappy service:)))

I love the indie music playing and it was very clean/ colorful. We were placed less than 15 mins. I had the milk and honey which was amazing for 45$ and my husband had reg ped. I plan to return for a full body massage/facial since I saw they had a closed private room! We were very satisfied. I only suggest maybe offering complimentary juice or water if your there for services over a hour.

2 stars because of the atmospheres however, I'm very disappointed in their service.. I had a fill-in on Thursday & went back the very next day Friday because EVERYONE was telling me that I needed a fill-in.. It was HORRIBLE!! I then went back on Friday so that she can do them right only to have someone else do my nails because the one that did it was NOT there... Guess what? My chrome polished peeled off Saturday... The nail techs in this salon USE to be PHENOMENAL. Since being under new & Kin being gone, they're a big disappointment... Take my advice, spend your money somewhere else that won't tell you that it's your nails that is the reason why your polish has come off!!

I recently moved to the area and was in desperate need of a fill-in so I walked into this shop on a Wednesday afternoon. I requested a gel fill-in and then waited a reasonable 25 minutes for an available tech. When she pulled out the acrylic powder, I didn't say anything because I just wanted to get the job done. After being passed around a couple of times, I walked to the counter to pay. I paid my $32, grabbed a price list off the counter & walked out with a decent set of AC...RYLIC nails. The price was a little high, but I'm new to the area and just thought that it was normal. After a few days, I went through my purse & found the pricing list & realized that I was charged for gel (& an extra $2). To me, this means that this shop is knowingly passing off acrylic nails with gel polish as "gel nails". Although my nails looked fine when I walked out, deceitful practices do not sit well with me! Gel builder is GEL, not acrylic powder. For all you ladies who walk in requesting and paying for gel, you are being taking advantage of. Just like the polish, gel builder is applied in layers that must be set under UV lighting. I made the mistake of not looking at the price list prior to walking out and I own that, but I've never been to a nail shop that knowingly passes one product off as another. I'm very disappointed. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I've been here twice and received horrible service both times. The first time I visited, I got the SNS dip powder and they all turned out crooked and different lengths. I was so disappointed. But the girl who did them was so nice that I felt bad about going back and complaining, so I just let it go and went somewhere else to have them re-done. I wanted to give this place a second chance because I've heard good things about this... place, but mostly because it's right around the corner from my job. Well, the second time was worst then the first time. They made me feel as if I was inconveniencing them. I was passed around between 3 different nail techs. A little annoying having to chair hop, but I tried to be understanding since I knew they were busy. I got a full set and gel polish on my nails. The end result was just terrible! Being that 3 different girls had worked on them, there was no consistency. Again, they weren't even. Some nails longer then the others, the acrylics look bumpy and I can see separation in the gel polish. I was not happy and the girl who worked on me initially knew that I was upset with the way they tuned out and she did nothing to smooth things over or accommodate me. She rang me up and I left paying $40 for nails that look like a child did them. I called the next day and asked if I could get a refund. And the same girl answered the phone telling me that it was basically my fault they turned out that way because I should have said something from the beginning. So unprofessional! I was livid. She said that if I want my money back that she would need to take them off first. I was fine with that, but she also told me that they were completely booked that day and that I would have to come in and wait around till someone found the time to remove them. Well, I never ended up going back because I didn't have the time to wait around all Saturday since I was leaving that night for vacation. Such poor customer service. That was not fair to me at all. I did and they got me right in. The salon is very salon-ish. The decor doesn't make it stand out (although they have SO MUCH polish!), but the service and the nails DO. I was practically giddy to find this place. I sat down in a comfy chair and had this amazing pedicure. I had this one with honey and a million other things that was SO worth it (it's the $45 pedicure -- totally worth it). When she started using the hot stones on my legs I almost fell asleep, that's how good it was! There was lotion and oil and so much. It was the perfect way to relax and get a beautiful pedicure. My feet look just so great!The same girl did my nails. I did SNS powder and asked for it to be thicker than usual because I can be pretty klutzy with my nails. She added an extra layer of clear powder just in case and my nails are the most beautiful I've seen them (and for $45!!!). Just so great. I love this salon and I wish it was in NYC. I'd probably go weekly! Not only are they super professional and great at their jobs, but they are the nicest people too! Seriously, get here and get your nails done well. Mine are so good I"m sad I can't come back and get them done over and over (I'm in NYC). I'm so jealous of all you who live here!Amazing!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I've been here twice and received horrible service both times. Even though a friend and I walked in when y'all were extremely busy, you still managed to fit us in for pedicures AND make sure we got seated together. I was afraid of aggravating everyone for asking to sit next to my friend and told them I didn't mind to wait, but they got us sat together quickly and didn't seem to mind at all. The sweet lady who painted my toenails did an amazing job. I've been to multiple other shops that pressure you into doing expensive extras and when I was here, no one tried pushing anything on me which I really appreciated. I plan on going back for a manicure soon!

Maybe I just caught them at the wrong time or maybe they work by appointment? I arrived at opening to get a fillin, there was one person in front of me. They had me take a seat and then proceeded to take 2 other customers in front of me for toes and then started another ones nails. I don't understand why all these people went in front of me and no one said anything to me until I was walking out the door feeling like I had been skipped over. Got my nails done here before and was pleased but this visit was not enjoyable.

Not sure if the owner has changed but this placed is terrible now. No drinks offered, worst polish job I've ever seen, messy and polish all over the skin, so rough when cutting the cuticles, beside trying to upsell and pushing the more expensive mani and pedi options she didn't speak to me the whole time, didn't ask if I wanted my toe nails trimmed and cut them without asking. Overall the outcome looked sloppy and cheap. Very disappointed. Never going back.

Well where the variety of colors and options are great, the fact that they charge you $7.00 for a manicure (separately) when you go in for a gel MANICURE or the SNS powder is absurd to me. Being a city girl I can definitely appreciate a good gel manicure/pedicure, I'll pay the price but shouldn't the manicure already be included when you go to get one of these services???!!! Would some people just go to a nail shop to get color put on their nails and then if they do (think about this) you're charged $30-$40 for them to just apply this to your nails, so you're just paying for the use of the products which is even crazier because I'm sure when the products were brought in wholesale they don't cost that much!!! Anyway, I just wanted to shed some light on this to the owner and customers. Loved the spot but don't think the charge of a manicure should come separate from these services when a customer comes in for a gel manicure or sns majority of the time, they will want their nails cleaned up first that's what nail technicians do, right??!

Is it too soon to say this is my go-to nail spot, when I haven't given many other nail salons a spot? Maybe. Will I regret saying that? Probably not! I'm a pedicure type of gal. Rarely will I do my nails; it has to be a special occasion and I'll end up rocking gel nails. Pedicures, however, are a most. I am on my feet a lot, especially in sneakers doing sports and other athletic things. The first time I came I only had a classic pedi. It's $25 and real simple. My feet felt great and the polish looked great. The second time I decided I needed a bit more attention. My feet were feeling (and looking) a little rough. I decided to try the milk and honey pedicure - a $45 treatment. It was worth every dollar because for an hour, if not more, Tom took great care of my feet. The milk and honey pedicure includes a goat milk foot soak, plus a honey butter scrub (with a great calf massage), then some eucalyptus oil with a hot stone massage directed at the soles of your feet, and concluding with a moisturizing mask and hot towel combo. This is in addition to everything that goes into a classic pedi. I felt so refreshed; this is exactly what my feet needed. Plus I think I found my go-to nail tech (Tom). I've had better pedicures elsewhere but my nails were cute! They're very friendly and great with kids. I like a good massage with my pedi, the older woman who did mine barely touched my feet. But she painted them very well. As far as my mani, I wasn't impressed either. But they did a pretty good job on my rose gold chrome nail color. It's lasted 3 weeks, very happy about that . Over all, not sure if I'll go back.

I had been excited to try Lil' Nail Shop for a while. Always thought the decor inside looked so cute when I would pass by. A friend even told me she had a pleasant experience, so perhaps it was just one bad trip, but I won't be back. Broken nail less then 2 hours after I left. Lumpy, bubbly acrylic. The nail tech missed most of the sides of my nails, leaving exposed nail without polish. Some nails longer than others. May seem silly, but I like the tip of the nail painted too, so that my nails aren't one color while the tip shows white. When I asked the nail tech to fix this she seemed irritated but did as I asked, it still did not look right when finished, but I am not typically one to be too picky or complain, so I just said thanks. I have never been so disappointed with my nails. Sadly disappointed. :(

This was my 1st time visiting this nail shop. My mother and I both had a manicure and pedicure. My mother was happy with her services however I was not. I requested an ombre design on my toes which from a distance looks good however once you look closer you can see that the colors are not blended well and looks a bit sloppy. My manicure was far worse, my nails got cut down way too short (there is barely any nail exposed over the tips of my fingers. My right hand is squared and my left is oval. With no way to make my hands match due to such short nails, the owner Kim only had me pay for a polish change in regards to my nail service. Cute nail shop, good service minus the issues I had, but to me it was not worth the $175 I spent.

I went just last week for a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax. I upgraded to gel pedicure. The woman told me I needed a style update and that my last layer should be a layer of this chrome powder for a shiny look so I said ok. Then she suggested they add it to my hands so I said OK to that too. I go to check out and what is usually $90-$95 worth of services was $145!! The charged me $20 extra for just gel polish on my pedicure instead of regular, then $10 for the chrome powder--that's $30 extra added to my pedicure! She did the same thing with my SNS manicure and another $10 for that stupid chrome powder she pushed on me. At no time did she mention these huge upcharges. She was kind of sassy but I tried to just deal with it, but realized this lady is a con artist---I mean on my pedicure, that's ridiculous...she implied she was just swapping the last light pink layer for a layer of something shiny instead...I mean I could've bought multiple full size bottles of gel polish for that. She was speaking to her coworker (who kept complaining about her horrible mother and looked like she just rolled out of bed...dirty rumpled scraggly shirt, messy hair) and when I asked what they were talking about (they were speaking a different language, which was fine, but they were giggling so I wanted in on the joke) and she was saying that she doesn't understand why they finish all the cleanup for fill-ins...when I asked why wouldn't they, she said that it takes extra time and she charges extra for that...to basically finish tidying up a job she is being paid for, she charges extra. Let me tell you when I got to the register I understood that this lady is just a clever upseller and she tags lots of little fees onto her services to make herself more money. Then she has the poor brand new guy who doesn't know what's going on do the ringing up---probably the only way to get away with basically stealing money from clients. I mean 50% more than regular services? That's ridiculous. Furthermore, I got my nails done a week tomorrow and the SNS dip is already chipping (she does extremely thin layers, it's clear she's very cheap about her product) and the supposed "gel" polish I was charged a $30 upcharge for my toes started peeling literally two days later at my family function on Saturday that I got it done for. One week after $150 in services and I'm headed back again today b/c my polish is so chipped it would look unprofessional at my interview tomorrow. Not cool. The lady that did mine and runs up peoples' bills also passed me off to two different people for parts she didnt' want to do, like the actual pedicure part. She just did the polishing and the upcharging.

I have been here a few times. Today I give it 2 stars because the young man who assisted me is obviously new to the industry. I was cut on my pinky toe with his cuticle scissor and then he put the callus remover on top which stung like a $##%!! I tried to wipe the stuff off the nail bed as the other woman next to him was trying to explain what was happening in their native foreign tongue. He then grabs the spray bottle with rubbing alcohol to cleanse my wound. F$%#@! Yes, it hurt!! Painfully so!. Needless to say, i did not ask him to put nail polish on my toes. I left the nails bare. Secondly, He never remembered to cut the other foots nails back so I did ask him to do so. Again, the gentleman to the other side of him had to relay the information by translating. Bottom line. The price still had to be paid and tip was expected. So here is my tip. Go to someplace that is educated and skilled and speaks English. Today the service here was below par. I will need to check around for other nail salons in the area.

They push to upselling like crazy. I went in for a simple manicure. They tried to talk me into a French tip which I finally agreed to. Then I had to argue with them about not wanting gel or sns. The girl told me she didn’t want to do a regular manicure on me because it was not going to last. I explained I didn’t care, I only needed it to last for the one evening and I would remove it the next day. Finally I gave into gel. She pushed SNS then and I asked the difference between the two. She never told me there was a a huge price difference. I asked after she had started to find out there was a huge difference. Especially when I came in for a basic manicure now I am up to $50. She told me not to get the manicure. Umm my cuticles looked terrible I needed it. I told her to stop I because she didn’t tell me the price difference and she said “You didn’t ask”. I asked the difference between gel and SNS and she should have told me because that was a difference. Needless to say she didn’t completely take the SNS off and handed me over to someone else to do my basic mani. Now I am having to take the layer of SNS off at home that I didn’t want in the first place. Not to mention my cuticles are still a mess and because they did polish over a half SNS job my mani looked terrible. I do not recommend this place at all.

Also the first salon ive seen in richmond hill that has every tools individually wrapped, including buffer, nail file, pumice stone and i see them throw it away after using it on me. I love the atmosphere, and so much variety from pedicure options to nail services. Will be coming here from now on.

I went in to get a pedicure with my 5 year old and, have my nails done.I felt like our pedicures were rushed through and, my daughter didn’t get to start her pedicure until like 10 minutes after me because the lady was talking.The ladies who did our pedicures were nice though. The salon wasn’t very clean.At least not what I am use to. The staff talked more to each other than they did me which is fine because I had a hard time understanding them but, it made my daughter uncomfortable.The woman doing my nails didn’t get all my polish off.She pulled her tools out of a drawer but, I’m not so sure they were sterile.She rushed through my nails.My gel polish wasn’t all the way cured and was sticky.I didn’t notice until the morning but, the polish job is dodgy on some fingers as well.
While not my nail tech, the one beside me got on her phone several times while doing a young ladies nails.It was very unprofessional. I have paid $40 for a better pedicure and manicure together.I was looking forward to the experience in the shop but, I was disappointed and, ready to get out of the hot building.It was okay for a last minute trip but, we will not return.

Since moving to Richmond Hill, I have been in search of an excellent nail salon. After 3 months of going to a few places that just did not hit the mark. I decided to do a search via internet instead of choosing places as I drive by while out and about. I am very impressed with the service I received. The staff was professional and the implements used for service were from sterilized packages. Not only did I receive the exact shape and smoothness I was looking for for my nails, I was also satisfied with my pedicure. I was even introduced to a technique for my nails that I absolutely love. Thanks Lisa, you’re awesome!

My nails are almond shaped and when she filed them, they were different shapes. The shape of my nails is a huge factor for me. Also, one nail was significantly shorter than the others:( When I was waiting for the polish to dry, I noticed there were tiny bubbles that formed. When I showed her, she said that it was "normal" because of the polish. Um, no. I don't recall any bubbles forming all the other times I've gotten my nails done. She also kept pushing for me to get the gel nails and it's annoying because I want what I want. I get it, this isn't her dream job but too bad she doesn't take a little more pride in her work. Welp, because of her crappy job, she inspired me to learn how to do my own acrylic nails so there's a bright side to this. I will save tons of $$$ and get my nails exactly how I want them from now on so thank you for your crappy service:)))

I love the indie music playing and it was very clean/ colorful. We were placed less than 15 mins. I had the milk and honey which was amazing for 45$ and my husband had reg ped. I plan to return for a full body massage/facial since I saw they had a closed private room! We were very satisfied. I only suggest maybe offering complimentary juice or water if your there for services over a hour.

I had a fill-in on Thursday & went back the very next day Friday because EVERYONE was telling me that I needed a fill-in.. It was HORRIBLE!! I then went back on Friday so that she can do them right only to have someone else do my nails because the one that did it was NOT there... Guess what? My chrome polished peeled off Saturday... The nail techs in this salon USE to be PHENOMENAL. Since being under new & Kin being gone, they're a big disappointment... Take my advice, spend your money somewhere else that won't tell you that it's your nails that is the reason why your polish has come off!!

I recently moved to the area and was in desperate need of a fill-in so I walked into this shop on a Wednesday afternoon. I requested a gel fill-in and then waited a reasonable 25 minutes for an available tech. When she pulled out the acrylic powder, I didn't say anything because I just wanted to get the job done. After being passed around a couple of times, I walked to the counter to pay. I paid my $32, grabbed a price list off the counter & walked out with a decent set of AC...RYLIC nails. The price was a little high, but I'm new to the area and just thought that it was normal. After a few days, I went through my purse & found the pricing list & realized that I was charged for gel (& an extra $2). To me, this means that this shop is knowingly passing off acrylic nails with gel polish as "gel nails". Although my nails looked fine when I walked out, deceitful practices do not sit well with me! Gel builder is GEL, not acrylic powder. For all you ladies who walk in requesting and paying for gel, you are being taking advantage of. Just like the polish, gel builder is applied in layers that must be set under UV lighting. I made the mistake of not looking at the price list prior to walking out and I own that, but I've never been to a nail shop that knowingly passes one product off as another. I'm very disappointed. The first time I visited, I got the SNS dip powder and they all turned out crooked and different lengths. I was so disappointed. But the girl who did them was so nice that I felt bad about going back and complaining, so I just let it go and went somewhere else to have them re-done. I wanted to give this place a second chance because I've heard good things about this... place, but mostly because it's right around the corner from my job. Well, the second time was worst then the first time. They made me feel as if I was inconveniencing them. I was passed around between 3 different nail techs. A little annoying having to chair hop, but I tried to be understanding since I knew they were busy. I got a full set and gel polish on my nails. The end result was just terrible! Being that 3 different girls had worked on them, there was no consistency. Again, they weren't even. Some nails longer then the others, the acrylics look bumpy and I can see separation in the gel polish. I was not happy and the girl who worked on me initially knew that I was upset with the way they tuned out and she did nothing to smooth things over or accommodate me. She rang me up and I left paying $40 for nails that look like a child did them. I called the next day and asked if I could get a refund. And the same girl answered the phone telling me that it was basically my fault they turned out that way because I should have said something from the beginning. So unprofessional! I was livid. She said that if I want my money back that she would need to take them off first. I was fine with that, but she also told me that they were completely booked that day and that I would have to come in and wait around till someone found the time to remove them. Well, I never ended up going back because I didn't have the time to wait around all Saturday since I was leaving that night for vacation. Such poor customer service. That was not fair to me at all. I did and they got me right in. The salon is very salon-ish. The decor doesn't make it stand out (although they have SO MUCH polish!), but the service and the nails DO. I was practically giddy to find this place. I sat down in a comfy chair and had this amazing pedicure. I had this one with honey and a million other things that was SO worth it (it's the $45 pedicure -- totally worth it). When she started using the hot stones on my legs I almost fell asleep, that's how good it was! There was lotion and oil and so much. It was the perfect way to relax and get a beautiful pedicure. My feet look just so great!The same girl did my nails. I did SNS powder and asked for it to be thicker than usual because I can be pretty klutzy with my nails. She added an extra layer of clear powder just in case and my nails are the most beautiful I've seen them (and for $45!!!). Just so great. I love this salon and I wish it was in NYC. I'd probably go weekly! Not only are they super professional and great at their jobs, but they are the nicest people too! Seriously, get here and get your nails done well. I was not happy and the girl who worked on me initially knew that I was upset with the way they tuned out and she did nothing to smooth things over or accommodate me. She rang me up and I left paying $40 for nails that look like a child did them. I called the next day and asked if I could get a refund. And the same girl answered the phone telling me that it was basically my fault they turned out that way because I should have said something from the beginning. So unprofessional! I was livid. She said that if I want my money back that she would need to take them off first. I was fine with that, but she also told me that they were completely booked that day and that I would have to come in and wait around till someone found the time to remove them. Well, I never ended up going back because I didn't have the time to wait around all Saturday since I was leaving that night for vacation. Such poor customer service. That was not fair to me at all. I'm still waiting on the owner to give me a call.

Even though a friend and I walked in when y'all were extremely busy, you still managed to fit us in for pedicures AND make sure we got seated together. I was afraid of aggravating everyone for asking to sit next to my friend and told them I didn't mind to wait, but they got us sat together quickly and didn't seem to mind at all. The sweet lady who painted my toenails did an amazing job. I've been to multiple other shops that pressure you into doing expensive extras and when I was here, no one tried pushing anything on me which I really appreciated. I plan on going back for a manicure soon!

Maybe I just caught them at the wrong time or maybe they work by appointment? I arrived at opening to get a fillin, there was one person in front of me. They had me take a seat and then proceeded to take 2 other customers in front of me for toes and then started another ones nails. I don't understand why all these people went in front of me and no one said anything to me until I was walking out the door feeling like I had been skipped over. Got my nails done here before and was pleased but this visit was not enjoyable.

Not sure if the owner has changed but this placed is terrible now. No drinks offered, worst polish job I've ever seen, messy and polish all over the skin, so rough when cutting the cuticles, beside trying to upsell and pushing the more expensive mani and pedi options she didn't speak to me the whole time, didn't ask if I wanted my toe nails trimmed and cut them without asking. Overall the outcome looked sloppy and cheap. Very disappointed. Never going back.

Well where the variety of colors and options are great, the fact that they charge you $7.00 for a manicure (separately) when you go in for a gel MANICURE or the SNS powder is absurd to me. Being a city girl I can definitely appreciate a good gel manicure/pedicure, I'll pay the price but shouldn't the manicure already be included when you go to get one of these services???!!! Would some people just go to a nail shop to get color put on their nails and then if they do (think about this) you're charged $30-$40 for them to just apply this to your nails, so you're just paying for the use of the products which is even crazier because I'm sure when the products were brought in wholesale they don't cost that much!!! Anyway, I just wanted to shed some light on this to the owner and customers. Loved the spot but don't think the charge of a manicure should come separate from these services when a customer comes in for a gel manicure or sns majority of the time, they will want their nails cleaned up first that's what nail technicians do, right??!

Is it too soon to say this is my go-to nail spot, when I haven't given many other nail salons a spot? Maybe. Will I regret saying that? Probably not! I'm a pedicure type of gal. Rarely will I do my nails; it has to be a special occasion and I'll end up rocking gel nails. Pedicures, however, are a most. I am on my feet a lot, especially in sneakers doing sports and other athletic things. The first time I came I only had a classic pedi. It's $25 and real simple. My feet felt great and the polish looked great. The second time I decided I needed a bit more attention. My feet were feeling (and looking) a little rough. I decided to try the milk and honey pedicure - a $45 treatment. It was worth every dollar because for an hour, if not more, Tom took great care of my feet. The milk and honey pedicure includes a goat milk foot soak, plus a honey butter scrub (with a great calf massage), then some eucalyptus oil with a hot stone massage directed at the soles of your feet, and concluding with a moisturizing mask and hot towel combo. This is in addition to everything that goes into a classic pedi. I felt so refreshed; this is exactly what my feet needed. Plus I think I found my go-to nail tech (Tom). He was so attentive to my needs and requests. I'm coming back next month! PS. I always make an appointment (usually an hour to three in advance), just so I'm not sitting around longer than I need to.

I've had better pedicures elsewhere but my nails were cute! They're very friendly and great with kids. I like a good massage with my pedi, the older woman who did mine barely touched my feet. But she painted them very well. As far as my mani, I wasn't impressed either. But they did a pretty good job on my rose gold chrome nail color. It's lasted 3 weeks, very happy about that . Over all, not sure if I'll go back.

I had been excited to try Lil' Nail Shop for a while. Always thought the decor inside looked so cute when I would pass by. A friend even told me she had a pleasant experience, so perhaps it was just one bad trip, but I won't be back. Broken nail less then 2 hours after I left. Lumpy, bubbly acrylic. The nail tech missed most of the sides of my nails, leaving exposed nail without polish. Some nails longer than others. May seem silly, but I like the tip of the nail painted too, so that my nails aren't one color while the tip shows white. When I asked the nail tech to fix this she seemed irritated but did as I asked, it still did not look right when finished, but I am not typically one to be too picky or complain, so I just said thanks. I have never been so disappointed with my nails. Sadly disappointed. :(

This was my 1st time visiting this nail shop. My mother and I both had a manicure and pedicure. My mother was happy with her services however I was not. I requested an ombre design on my toes which from a distance looks good however once you look closer you can see that the colors are not blended well and looks a bit sloppy. My manicure was far worse, my nails got cut down way too short (there is barely any nail exposed over the tips of my fingers. My right hand is squared and my left is oval. With no way to make my hands match due to such short nails, the owner Kim only had me pay for a polish change in regards to my nail service. Cute nail shop, good service minus the issues I had, but to me it was not worth the $175 I spent.
