This place is a joke. I came in to get a PEDICURE and a MANICURE. Of course you think when someone says pedicure, they start the water to rub your feet and scrub them. No. This place went straight to the polish and didn’t scrub or anything after I told him I wanted a pedicure. Just ridiculous. So when I went to get my manicure, he was doing the French too think so I told him to go thinner and he only took the tiniest bit off. I told him a little more and he refused to do it. I went to go pay and I was ticked with the price of $50 when I didn’t get my feet done the proper way or did he listen to me when I was getting my nails done. I wasn't really impressed with this place when I came in October 2016. I had called ahead to ask if they had the holographic polish and was told they did. When I got there, however, their idea of holo was actually chrome/duochrome polish. I decided to get SNS nails to try for the first time. I did like the color but my nails were really damaged afterwards. I went on a cruise for 5 days and my nails chipped a little. The pointer finger had a crack in the polish and my actual nail which has never happened before. I wasn't rough with my hands at all to cause that. I also felt like the lady, may have been the owner, was a little rude to me. I had simply asked if she had color changing (mood/thermal) polish and she said "No, we have more than enough options here so we don't need that." Okay? I was just asking. I also felt rushed when I was letting my toes dry. She looked over and said "Ok you can leave now." Wasn't impressed with my mani/pedi and it started chipping within the first 2 days of my cruise. Been here a couple times, it's my last minute place if my regular salon has no openings. Mediocre place, nothing special. Never good filing. Well, I went about a week ago and got my nails and toenails painted. Used gel polish on my nails and one of them completely peeled off today so I go in to get it painted and she asks me what number gel polished I used (there's a lot of them) so I say I'm not sure can I look at the colors, and she says "you need to remember your color"... first of all, my polish shouldn't peel off not even a week later. So I find my color and tell her which one it is and she says no it's not! I looked at her and was like "no, I promise it is" I remember the name of it. Then this woman proceeds to tell me, "if it's not the right color, I can't take it off and redo it for you." Problem is, I KNEW it was right but even if it wasn't I'm pretty sure it's their job to take it off and correct it.... even if I had to pay for the removal and change but don't tell me you won't change it if I didn't remember a 3 digit number from almost a week ago. Clean, friendly, affordable, and comfortable! This was the first place I found when I moved to Augusta in July 2016. I live in downtown Augusta and drive the 20 minutes to Bliss every time I need my nails done. I know there are a million other places between my place and Bliss but you simply cannot find better service! The ladies here have attention to detail, are super kind, and do great work. Every experience I have had has been a positive one and my nails look SO GOOD every time. It is also great to see such a diverse staff of women working together. I was visiting Augusta, Ga and needed to get my nails done. I went here due to the good reviews. My experience was pleasant! It is CLEAN! And they have a lot of colors to choose from!. And they offer a lot of different services, designs, regular pedicures, advanced pedicures ( if you need a little more TLC).  I was greeted as soon as I walked in and they did my Pedicure. The lady that did my Pedicure did a great job and she was very friendly & pleasant to talk to as well. After my Pedicure I have to wait about 30-45 mins to get my nails done,However, It was worth the wait . Sasha did my nails gel full set, coffin shape and they turned out beautiful! I LOVED THEM!.....oh one last thing I was waiting on my ride and Sasha and the owner were talking I think they thought I was gone cause I was waiting up at the front and they were saying that I should have gotten a darker color of the chrome shimmer to make it shine more, and the color and the shimmer powder I picked was to light..... well .If I had of know that I would have gotten a different shimmer powder... So it would have been nice if that was suggested to me! Especially being it was 4 dollars a nail. I've gone to this nail salon twice (I've only been in Augusta 3.5 weeks. This is my honest opinion of the salon:Sandy is good, she's the only one who's done my SNS at this salon- so I can't compare her to the other two girls in the salon. I believe she could be much better if she slowed down and concentrated on the customer she's servicing. She's too busy trying to make sure everyone else in the salon is being serviced- this is due to them being so short staffed.Price: confusing! I've always paid $35 for my SNS. This salon, I believe charge $40. I actually don't know what the starting price is. The first time I was charged $35 the second time I was charged $40. My nails are natural and short. Now Sandy tells me if I remove the polish and trim my nails before coming ,the price would be cheaper. Who does that? I come to the salon for a full service- I'm not doing nothing myself. Pros- good nail technician, clean, good choice of colorsCons- confused pricing, short staff on weekends, no one on one attention to customer (don't even massage hands- you must lotion your own hands or walk out dry) I really want to like this place...not sure if I've given up on it completely! Dropped in because I was by Earth Fare and saw a poster on the door about the SNS nails. I was greeted right when I walked in and didn't have to wait. I love my nails. Love the SNS. I like my nails short because I'm an artist and longer acrylics make it difficult to work. I didn't get tips which you can do with the SNS. I was a walk-in. It was about an hour before they closed. I know the ladies were tired from a long day, but I came in for my 2nd time getting SNS Powder but first time at Bliss. The ladies were very friendly, but I honestly felt the quality of the service was not so great. I spent about 15-20 min with my fingers wrapped in acetone and inside of heated hand warmers while the technician started another nail service on someone else. I admire multi-tasking, but I felt like explanation as to how long I needed to sit and asking if I was okay from time to time would have been good customer service. Finally the application was just somewhat sloppy.. My red nails stained the clear top coat of my gold color, my cuticle was cut on one finger, & I had inconsistent coverage of top coat applied which cause roughness. I also had two nails that cracked after just 3 days.. I'd like to give them a 2nd try earlier in their day, but this service was just a B- to me. I also didn't complain due to the circumstances and time of day I came in. They did the service, I paid for the service, but I feel more attention to the SNS technique and detail is needed. I've had the gel nails, SNS nails (which I am currently sporting) and pedicures and all have been done with fabulous service and great results. I gave this salon after seeing the Yelp reviews and my regular salon was closed for Labor Day weekend. Wow, I will not be back. The environment was fine enough, a typical nail salon. The customer service was even good. But the reason I am giving 2/5 stars is because of the quality of the work. My nails looked like I painted them. FYI: this is a detailed review - scroll down to read the basic review. I've never reviewed a business before but I felt like I need to in this case. I visited this nail salon a few times because they offer the liquid gel nail service which can be hard to find. My mom has been getting this done for awhile now and now performs fills on herself because she prefers this to any other type of artificial nail style. After talking with her about my experiences here, it became apparent that the salon cuts corners in order to get the clients in and out as quickly as possible. In doing this, they're risking the safety of the clients nails. The initial nail tech that helped me was the, I believe, Russian lady. She was nice but clearly had limited experience in this type of nail. It took her much longer and applied the gel in a very sloppy manner. Also, she applied it so thick that once under the UV light, it felt like all of my fingers had been lit on fire. (Yes a burning sensation is normal for initial application but can be less harsh when done in thinner, even layers) I requested the coffin nail style and I have only been able to find one person capable of doing this style well (Jess from #1 Nails). I asked if she could do that and she made me believe she could.... My nails were uneven and varied in width to where I wished I had kept them square. I left feeling slightly frustrated but they're only nails so I didn't worry too much about it.Now on to my second experience: the owner did my nails the second time and it wasn't much better. Not only did she criticize how my nails look (asking numerous times if I had gotten them done at her salon) but once I told her who had done them, she proceeded to criticize her. She expressed her belief that this other lady is not good at the gel style and is not doing it correctly. I feel this is very unprofessional. Why have someone employed at your salon performing services that you know she's not qualified for??? She rushed through filling my nails because there were people waiting. She filled and fixed my nails and I left feeling slightly better than my first visit.Now let's talk about why I'm actually writing this review:A nail tech at envy nails  was removing gel polish from my nails and discovered that fungus was growing under not one, but MULTIPLE nails on my fingers which resulted in all of my nails being removed immediately and cleaned. I am utterly disgusted. I've had artificial nails on and off for over 10 years and have never, I repeat, NEVER had this happen before. I believe that the fact that Bliss rushes through their appointments caused this and I will never return to their shop. Their techs are inexperienced and unprofessional. If you want a basic service (manicure/pedicure) then take the risk but don't bother sticking around if they're busy. I will be taking my money and going back to #1 Nails. Overall, the nails are just okay. My pedicure went well and she took her time, but my manicure could DEFINITELY be better. I would've given them more stars if there wasn't a miscommunication went I went to pay, which ended up costing me $15 extra than they told me I would have to pay. After all of the confusion was sorted, my money was refunded to my card, but the whole thing could have been avoided if the employees had communicated with one another better about what the prices for the services I had done were going to cost. I got there on a Sunday afternoon.  It was slightly crowded but the ladies there were very accommodating and proficient.  I'm pretty simple.  I get a classic pedicure with a design and clear gel nails.  Often technicians file my nails too thin when applying the gel (shellac) but she did not.  And although it was close to closing time once they got to me, neither technician (one for pedicure and one for manicure) rushed.  I will return. I've been trying to find a good nail salon in Augusta for quite some time and this one had the best and most reviews on Yelp so I decided to give it a try. I called on a Wednesday and was able to get an appointment for the next day with Sandy. I arrived a few minutes early and had no wait. Sandy recommended I got an SNS manicure (apparently it's a new and better version of a gel manicure). I agreed and asked the cost ($35), am acceptable price. She begins buffering my nails and put oil but next she grabbed a clear polish. I asked her about filing my nails, shaping them, and cutting my cuticles and she informed me that would take the manicure to $45. So TEN dollars to do a basic manicure service?! This wasn't even including the cost of the pedicure I wanted afterwards which would cost $22-40. I left. There's no way I'm paying $70 not including tip for a mani/pedi. In bigger cities they would be out of business, there's nothing that sets this salon above a regular salon to excuse those prices. Never coming back here. Read Less

No. Just no. I am new to the area and looking for a good nail salon so I figured I would try this one put because it had good reviews. My two sisters and I came in here to get gel manicures today and I am not impressed. They didn't have enough people working, so we sat there for 40ish mins before being seated. I was RUSHED through my gel manicure at light speed, and she did a so-so job. No clean tools (out of sterile bags, like I am accustomed to), so god knows what I have on my hands now. My nails and cuticles look sloppy and there is nail polish all over my skin that I now have to peel off.One of my sisters was sat at a station and they ignored her for 30 more mins while the manicurist did my manicure. So she was seated before me and got done way after me. My other sister had to have her previous gel manicure soaked off, and they waited to do her last. So now two of us are done, waiting on the third of our party, and she is nowhere near done. The place looks dark and dated. I have no idea why it has any kind of positive reviews. Bliss Nail Salon is good option. I came here on a Friday afternoon around lunch time and was warmly greeted. The salon itself is very clean and spacious.  The work areas are organized and there are several pedicure chairs.  They have more than 300 gel polishes available and even have a brand that has the gel and regular polish equivalent!Sandy no doubt has the best prices at her salon for the SNS nails while other salons are starting at $50 for a full set and $45 for a fill, the prices here are $35 full/$18 fill. The SNS nails made my nails noticeably healthier and I loved the results. If you are looking for an option for nails in the CSRA, I'd at least give Bliss a chance! Read Less

Went to get a pedicure and a fill...Received a warm welcome when I walked through the door, was immediately seated for my pedicure. The deluxe is absolutely amazing and worth the 40 dollars. You get a towel wrap, a massage with lotion, hot stones massaged into the legs and feet. Outstanding! The fill was just as great, no over filing, no kicking the fingers, nails were filed evenly and shaped perfectly. This is definitely the best spot for nails and pedicures! Read Less

I was having a pretty bad day and really needed a manicure, gave them a call right before they closed (7:10 on a weekday) and they told me to come in anyway so I could get a perfect french manicure. Brandi is wonderful! She is really nice, is caring of your experience and mindful of your time. I got a stone pedicure and a gel mani. Both turned out great. I couldn't give it 5 stars because the owner is all over the place. She does not take customers in the order of their arrival or appointment. She told several people the wait was 10 minutes when it was more like 20 -25 so people were getting irritated. To make up for it she was having staff go in between clients to complete services. In between my friend's pedicure and manicure she tried to have the nail tech do someone else's manicure because that other person was upset she had been waiting 30 minutes. If you can't take someone, tell them and ask them to come back at another time. It's frustrating to feel like your services are being rushed so they can take more clients. Read Less

Great nail salon! Came here today and got the hot stone pedicure for $35.00. I never had a hot stone pedicure before and it was very relaxing and soothing. Sandy did my nails and she's excellent! She makes you feel right at home. Very friendly and sweet. They weren't busy for a Saturday afternoon which was great. Sandy encouraged me to come back and I definitely will. There are a lot of colors to choose from and they are very upfront about their prices for all of their services. They are located right next door to Earthfare and Toki Japanese restaurant in Martinez off of Fury's Ferry Road. By far the best and cleanest nail salon in the area. Read Less

I have gotten my nails done here and my goodness I LOVE this place! I get my nails done by Yen. She's super cute and real sweet. I have been to at least 6 different shops in Augusta and this place is the best. Very clean and a very wide selection of colors plus designs. I tend to get Gel Nails and I highly recommend this place! When I went to other salons, I would have the UV gel nails all up under my nails because the manicurist did not make sure the gel nail polish was off any parts of my skin before under going the UV light. Yen does a wonderful job and is very quick yet precise. She also always makes sure that you actually like your nails. This salon takes appointment and walk-ins.
